how can a man who is even the the smartest of all men outwit the written word? your response is in bad taste you assume we are trying to out smart the written word of God simply because we have a different view of the scriptures? Be quick to listen and slow to speak
Did we not 'quote' written Holy Scripture given to Christians to 'fear' GOD by our LORD JESUS CHRIST?

Did 'both' of you 'quote' from the 'written Holy Scripture', 'not to fear GOD'?

We have 'given' already in unworthy service to all. Therefore what 'both of you jokers' testifying, your own Gospel, or 'as it is written' to have 'faith in Spiritual knowledge' and 'faith practice and abide' and 'bear much fruit' and 'your fruit must abide'?

Ignorant ones to the 'every Word that proceeded out of the mouth of GOD', please do not 'focus' on us, but to 'as it is written' and therefore spiritually understand by the Help of the HOLY SPIRIT, who 'inspired' the HOLY BIBLE, and is 'representing' CHRIST, while CHRIST in Heaven.

if you cannot reply in a Christ like manner perhaps you should not reply at all, calling us jokers is uncalled for. you and I clearly have a different view of what it means to fear him, sure enough if I was not his then I should quaking in my shoes but the relationship I have with him dispels fear and replaces it with love, also do not confuse the word gospel with with the interpretation of a scripture

You want us to reply to you, 'hypocrites' in CHRIST like manner, therefore 'perceive' this, 'as it is written', that;

"My FATHER's house is a place of worship"

"Do not make My FATHER's house, a place for robbers and thieves to hide."

"My FATHER's house burns in Me like fire."

What did JESUS 'do' before saying these 'words'?

Are you 'looking' for the 'worldly Christian way of love' or 'AGAPE', the way, the truth and the life, the only way to the FATHER', way 'as it is written way of love', according to Hebrews 12, in correction and chastisement for 'yous' to learn 'fear'.

Therefore 'repent' before experiencing 'chastisement' of GOD to the 'stubborn' and 'hardheaded' according to HIS every Word/Teaching in the name of LORD JESUS CHRIST.

You are speaking on Acts 2:41 where 3,000 people accepted the gospel of Christ and got baptized (H2O) in His name.

Then we must keep reading on to verse 42 where it says they "continued" in the doctrine and fellowship.
The key word once again in this passage is that they continued in the faith, and part of that faith is keeping and following the teachings/instructions from the scriptures out of love.

Once again the Lord Jesus gives 3 parts to "believe in Him."
1) Come to Him 2) Hear what He says 3) Do what He said (Luke 6:46-49)
I'm sorry. I do apologize. Until I read this, I had no idea that you battled wanting to turn away from Jesus on a constant basis. I will try to be more understanding now that I know this to be a problem for you.

I do not battle with turning away from Jesus Willie-T !!!

I give these instructions from the bible to others so that they can learn how to not fall away, as the bible repeats itself on subjects multiple times and the main points it emphasizes is; Faith, Love, Forgiveness, Obedience, and Warnings of disobedience !!!

Perhaps you do not understand what responding in a Christ like manner is, you respond in a crude and unloving way but Jesus calls us to be love and so therefore respond in all humility love and peace. You may call me a hypocrite if you wish but when I read your rude post all I felt was compassion and love. Yes I know the love of God very well, the richness and depth of it the beauty and absolute wonder and amazement of it is overwhelming. God and I often times will let our hearts speak to each other, there was a moment for instance where he and I were simply being with each other and pouring our feelings for each other into each others hearts.

This love our hearts were speaking to each other was so deep and rich that words could not express it the human tongue could not speak it, I recall how his love pierced my heart like a white hot blade and my heart bleed love, the love simply poured out of me. the Love that comes form his heart, that when he and a child of his make that special connection of the heart, such a love as that can and will turn the most evil and most darkest of hearts to a soft and intimate heart.

Ken,

if your love for your heavenly Father is obvious to many of us who read your posts,
just think how obvious it is to Him and how His love is the only thing that matters
in this life that He has given us.

all are teachers for us when we come together, no matter the arena or heart intents.

I won't even use that word the translators so abused. I say, "Awe and Reverence."

I completely agree with this sentiment. In the Hebrew, most of the places "fear" is used is better translated as "revere" (Strong's ref 3373 & 3374). It doesn't necessarily mean to be afraid of God, but to hold him in reverence.

Also, Christians need not be afraid of the Lord, but respect him, hold him in high regard, honor & reverence. What a friend we have in Jesus...Its only the enemies of the Cross that need to fear him :)

Beloved ones of CHRIST, 'HIS lambs and sheep who hear HIS voice and follow HIM', beware of 'counterfeits' and 'imposters' who have 'gone ahead of the word/teaching of CHRIST'.

'Witnesses' of the 'inspired' HOLY BIBLE, therefore not turning to the 'left' or 'right' nor 'in between', please 'listen' and 'pay attention' to what is 'written' and 'established', where the 'Reformers' were 'persecuted' for 'lovingly' translating for us all, to 'believe' in 'Spiritual faith knowledge' and therefore 'faith actions' in 'practicing' and 'abiding' and 'bear much fruit' and 'your fruit must also abide'.

What you all have 'witnessed' here is the saying of JESUS and HIS Apostles and spiritual understanding according to them.

Now let us 'listen' and 'pay attention' to what GOD the FATHER in the name of LORD JESUS CHRIST, said regarding this 'matter', to those who 'believe' and 'faith' in HIS 'every Word that proceeded out of HIS mouth and is written in the Covenant, whether to 'fear' HIM or not.

The 'Living GOD today of CHRIST', who is 'unchanging', and still the 'same', according to HIS written Word/Teaching say to which 'soul' who have 'redeemed' of HIM, HE will look at?

Please give us as 'witnesses', the Holy Scripture quote, which redeemed soul GOD will look at and not others?

Therefore we may 'end' this 'discussion' and know who are the 'counterfeit' and 'imposter' including me, whether to fear HIM or not, even after receiving our 'Salvation'.

When GOD have said in HIS own words and is written for our spiritual understanding faith, as we 'seek' them first, therefore they 'stand' forever and ever. Amen.

Please answer and honor the LORD who have given us the HOLY BIBLE and the HOLY SPIRIT as our teacher?

I read page 1 and I think most are really in agreement it is just different words used. We have Christian lingo and if I tell someone I am using a floppy disk to back up and they say no you need a dvd disk to back up.... both do the same thing hold information one might be more up to date and hold more information but they both hold information....

You guys most are saying the same thing from a different angle.....Sounds like most understand we are saved by Jesus through His blood by grace.....it is a gift we pick up and don't earn....obedience comes from the love and through the indwelling and working of the Holy Spirit in our lives... I no longer live but Christ lives in me...His perfect life not my sinful one. But it still equals obedience from love....

And so, which 'angle', as 'witnesses of CHRIST' suppose to 'distinguish' you without a Holy Scripture respond to the question asked. Therefore as witnesses we consider you as an 'outsider' who have 'sneaked in', who is putting on a 'hypocrite' show.

Isn't that the 'exposure' of your 'vain testimony', without any Holy Scripture quote?

GOD bless 'yous' in the name of LORD JESUS CHRIST.

So you claim to be a witness for Christ? I have not seen the fruit of Christ from you at all. And also you who would post scripture without any understanding of how to use it would talk down someone who speaks from a loving point of view? Do you think that simply posting scripture makes what you say valid? Do you know how easy it is to mis use scripture to fit out beliefs to use it as a weapon against another? Scripture is not a toy and you would be wise as to how you use it

There is one part of the Holy Scripture, GOD Himself testify about the ones, 'HE will look at', those who have been redeemed and continue to seek HIM in also 'fear'.

This is the Living GOD's own 'testimony' to a Prophet, to 'testify' to HIS redeemed people and are 'called' under HIS Covenant according to the time and the people HE have given and made 'through'.

Please 'quote' from the Holy Scripture your claims, 'not to fear GOD after you have been saved', period.

This was never about not fearing him it was about the definition of (fear) of him. you say you are witness of God you claim to be pure in your beliefs, if so I would like you to prove it. when you show love and compassion, when you do not use scripture like you do when you are not rude and when you are calm slow to speak then I will believe you but so far I haven't the heart of God from your lips and it is written Mathew 15:18
But the things that come out of a person's mouth come from the heart, and these defile them.

As it is written;

"Fear of GOD is the first step to wisdom."

Is our GOD 'an idol', or HE is just the Word/Teaching for our faith?

Please quote the Holy Scripture and as an unworthy servant, i would 'witness' the 'beginning' saying of GOD in the Holy Scripture, as HE himself 'testified' to those 'believe' and have 'faith' in CHRIST.

This is the 'beginning' Word of GOD regarding HIS 'testimony' to a Prophet of HIS to say to HIS 'redeemed' people, and they 'start' of like this;

"This is to whom 'I' will look at, ...................................................................................."

Who is HE referring to according to HIS own Word and for that Prophet to 'proclaim' as HE said them, to HIS 'redeemed people, and is written in the Old Testament?

I understand fearing him as in respect and as willie T put it so well to be in awe and reverence. How can I fear one whom I adore and treasure so dearly? who has always been there for me even when I screwed up so badly and deserved his rebuke when instead he encouraged me to keep going and to be strong? Who I can go to without any fear or trembling for anything I need who i can pour my heart out even in anger and not be struck with lightning where I stand yet instead receive grace and the willingness to help me?

you say I should fear this beloved father of mine?
Did you fear you earthly father but yet loved him too?

Pardon me. Neither you nor I know "the way it is." Because neither you nor I, nor anyone living today, has ever read "the Bible" as it was compiled.

And a reading of the Bibles we have today show us that this cannot mean to quake in fear of the one who made us.
" Neither you nor I know "the way it is." Because neither you nor I, nor anyone living today, has ever read "the Bible" as it was compiled."
What does that have to do with the price of tea in china?

Fearing the Lord is not necessarily "quaking".

There is a vast difference in revering out of love and quaking.

There certainly is. Exactly what I have been saying.
