Results are coming in ranging from disgust and loathing to angst and bafflement.

All well and good.

You're free to choice what you will, but don't blaim me when Babylon steals your wife, your husband and your children.

Don't ever say that no one tried to tell you about the real Secret Garden.

This knowledge is the only thing that would have actually saved you from the little foxes who spoil the Vineyard.

By night on my bed I sought him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not. I will rise now, and go about the city in the streets, and in the broad ways I will seek him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not.The watchmen that go about the city found me: to whom I said, Saw ye him whom my soul loveth? It was but a little that I passed from them, but I found him whom my soul loveth: I held him, and would not let him go, until I had brought him into my mother's house, and into the chamber of her that conceived me. -- Sol. 3:1-4

Bless you evangelical churchans. You're boring, ignorant, you lack imagination and you're pharisaical. But at least you're consistant.

Like i said, when we dont study ( The Bible ) , then all kinds of confusion will result. Many of the threads started in the forums show this.

The legitimate study i posted, will just fall out of sight without anyone bothering to study the scripture presented there. ( The Song of Solomon . ( Video Audio Study )

I don't suppose we should start getting into the Shulamite's 'secret underground spring' and how Solomon discovered that it could gush, should we?

And then there's the Calamus. But we're not ready for that yet.

There's not going to be anything edifying from what your posting , not for me at least.....

If anyone is willing to take time away from their " Era " marathon sessions , and watch the Bible study I posted in a separate thread, you'll be given many scriptures in that two hour study ( The Song of Solomon ).

These are but a few of the postures in Song of Solomon, yet all of them deal with aspects of oral sex. So what are your thoughts in these Solomonic postures of fellatio, cunnilingus and breast nursing? What are some of the higher meanings of these sexual postures to you when thinking about the tantric spiral of Shir ha-Shirim in relation to the rest of Scripture?

While the king sitteth at his table, my spikenard sendeth forth the smell thereof. -- Sol. 1:12

As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste. -- Sol. 2:3

O that thou wert as my brother, that sucked the breasts of my mother! when I should find thee without, I would kiss thee; yea, I should not be despised. -- Sol. 8:1

Is this thread appropriate?

Why don't people just report, rather than keep bumping the thread?
Tried that with another one - took forever but eventually the thread was closed - should have been removed but at least it was eventually closed.

If discussed appropriately it doesn't have to be. But I don't think 1 disciples' sarcastic tone and emphasis on the poetic details is helping.
So as a sister in CHRIST, I would advise you let it die.

Sarcastic? What on earth gave you that impression.

I've learned a lot in this thread so far.

For one thing, I've learned that in movement 6, when Solomon starts talking about his walnuts and how ripe they were, this must have taken place in the autumn.

If you are having sex with your spouse or partner. Do you want your partner to bring up scriptures while having sex with you or do you want them to focus on you?

Ecclesiastes 3:1[ A Time for Everything ] There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:
Yes, ideally when going through these tantric pathworkings in Shir ha-Shirim, portions pertaining to the current position will be spoken just as they were in the original. This can build powerful weaves and links between the couple that will spiral out in the flowering process of this love. In a real way, the older the wine gets, the better it will be.

That's what makes this work a real tantra. Such associations and correspondences are given throughout to build such psycho-spiritual links in connection with the body sexual.

Ah yes, here we are. I knew it was somewhere in the 6th movement.

I went down into the garden of nuts to see the fruits of the valley, and to see whether the vine flourished, and the pomegranates budded. Or ever I was aware, my soul made me like the chariots of Amminadib. -- Sol. 6:11-12

All right, so here is what I consider to be important. First, this verse:

Ephesians 5:3-4, The Living Bible
Let there be no sex sin, impurity or greed among you. Let no one be able to accuse you of any such things. Dirty stories, foul talk, and coarse jokes—these are not for you. Instead, remind each other of God’s goodness, and be thankful.

So, no sexual sin...not even a hint of immorality, is to be in our lives as Christ followers. The Bible speaks against sodomy. I will not define it here, but suffice it to say that what some try to justify in marriage using Song of Solomon incorrectly is sodomy. So, engaging in sodomy...is that immoral? I daresay it is, since the Bible speaks out against it more than once.

Now, does the Bible ever contradict itself? Nope. Thus, Song of Solomon does not endorse or encourage sodomy. Yes, Song of Solomon has a two-fold message: intimacy in marriage and intimacy with Christ. Before people go flying off the deep end and spouting perversion on the latter, recall these verses:
Everything is pure for someone whose heart is pure. But nothing is pure for an unbeliever with a dirty mind. That person’s mind and conscience are destroyed. Such people claim to know God, but their actions prove that they really don’t. They are disgusting. They won’t obey God, and they are too worthless to do anything good. (Titus 1: 15-16)

Basically, if you find perversion or justification for worldly thinking and appetites, it is because of your heart when you read the Word of God. Beware the attitudes of this world and their influence. We are called to be holy as Christ is holy. Where do we ever get the arrogance to assume that we can use His word to justify immorality in any form?

I live for Christ. I stand for purity. Anything that hints at immorality is not allowed in my life and sodomy more than hits at it.

And Babylon is new age religion and spiritualism and speaking with angels and astrology and all the bogus false idol worship that goes on...most of which glorify sexual expression in perverted ways, much like the idols of old always had a tie to sexual immorality. So inviting immoral and false teachings (i.e. new age lies) into your life under the guise of being Scripture is a sure fire way to have "Babylon steal your wife". Following God's true plan for purity and sex is the sure fire way to keep your marriage, and yourself, pure, solid, godly and right.

This is a genuine request. Can you reference to scripture that points to oral sex a sodomy. I am asking because this is an issue in which the church on the whole is split. I am neither nor their, but if I make a decision in that regard I would want to be able to clearly define that oral sex is biblically referred to as sodomy and that God

What's even better is that through continued practice, each individual couple can come into the chariot consciousness as well. If you follow the corrspondences, you will find it. It works on every level and it was written to be practiced. They say all is fair in love and war, and right they were.

Who is this that cometh out of the wilderness like pillars of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, with all powders of the merchant?Behold his bed, which is Solomon's; threescore valiant men are about it, of the valiant of Israel. They all hold swords, being expert in war: every man hath his sword upon his thigh because of fear in the night. King Solomon made himself a chariot of the wood of Lebanon. He made the pillars thereof of silver, the bottom thereof of gold, the covering of it of purple, the midst thereof being paved with love, for the daughters of Jerusalem.Go forth, O ye daughters of Zion, and behold king Solomon with the crown wherewith his mother crowned him in the day of his espousals, and in the day of the gladness of his heart. -- Sol. 3:6-11

Oral sex as sodomy? Sorry. I've never heard of that. Oral sex is all through Song of Solomon. They were doing it on mountain tops, in waterfalls, groves, flower fields, secret chambers....everywhere really. So no. Not only is it good, it also means something important.

How about less of you, and more scripture ? It's a waste of time to even engage this thread anymore.

Sodomy: anal or oral copulation with a member of the same or opposite sex

And, yes, that is the official definition.
