sir

when they begin to build the earthly temple, do you understand why many will be martyred. (That is, those who will hold to THE TESTIMONY of JESUS)?
When Chrst said it is finished the veil used to represent His coming was rent. The refomation had come. No longer was the flesh of a Jew neded in cerimoinail laws as shjadows and types .The time of Jabobs trouble had begun it wil continue to the end of time. God is no respecter of persons.Flesh gives birh to flesh, the Spirit of God gives birth to our new incoruptible spiriits that will never die

At the end of all things, read once again John 5 and see that a time will come when ALL...will hear the VOICE of THE SON of GOD

Not just those now

I would offer as many that the Father has given to the Son called the elect, they alone will come. (not one more or one less).

Those who are dead asleep will arise first and receive their new incorruptible bodies which will be niether Jew nor Gentile, male or female. Those reigning on earth with Christ will follow and both in the twinkling of the eye will be changed forever

John 5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and "now is", when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

The two witnesses will not be pointing to and testifying of the law and the prophets

They stand before GOD and they will testify of the TESTIMONY of JESUS
The Law and the Prophets both testify to Jesus

The Law and the Prophets both testify to Jesus
Yes because THE TESTIMONY of JESUS is THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY

All of the written WORD of GOD pointed to ONE TESTIMONY:

JESUS

Jacob's time of trouble came and went, it needs to be put in its correct context:

Jer 31:1 At the same time, saith the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.

Israel was being gathered in the 1st century AD at the time of Jacob's trouble to become "the God of all their families" - the companion prophecies are found in Ezekiel and their fulfillment in Paul's letter to the Corinthians:

A comparison between Ezekiel and Corinthians shows that Paul is virtually repeating the prophets words and applying them to the Gentiles:

Ezekiel 37:26-27 I will make a covenant of peace with them. It shall be an everlasting covenant with them. And I will set them in their land and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in their midst forevermore. My dwelling place shall be with them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

2 Cor 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

What is significant about Paul's use of Ezekiel here is prior to the above is the regathering of Israel under on stick - bringing the tribes together as one in Messiah.

Ezek 37:16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:

Ezek 37:17 And join them one to another into one stick;and they shall become one in thine hand.

Now if what Paul is stating from Ezekiel's prophecy is happening at Corinth in the 1st century AD "they shall be my people" then it must follow that the previous actions were already under way "I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen".

Ezek 37:21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

And this is exactly what we find happening in James' letter:

James 1:1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.

Thus in the 1st century AD we have the 12 tribes being called together to be one "stick" and the Gentiles as "I will be their God, and they shall be my people" in the body of Christ.

A few minor problems (actually more than just minor)

1. Isreal was not gathered in the first century, They remained slaves of rome, and all we have to do is read pauls letters to see no matter where he went in the gentile nations, Jews were always living there and being a hinderance to him, even attacking him, which brings us to the next point.
2. They did not repent. In fact, up even until today, they are blinded in part. At the end of Jaccpbs trouble, Isreal is supposed to repent. Her "blindness in part) will have been removed, and as paul said, ALL ISREAL will be saved.
3. Jer 30:
[SUP]10 [/SUP]‘Therefore do not fear, O My servant Jacob,’ says the Lord,
‘Nor be dismayed, O Israel;
For behold, I will save you from afar,
And your seed from the land of their captivity.
Jacob shall return, have rest and be quiet,

And no one shall make him afraid.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]For I am with you,’ says the Lord, ‘to save you;
Though I make a full end of all nations where I have scattered you,
Yet I will not make a complete end of you.
But I will correct you in justice,
And will not let you go altogether unpunished.’

This has not yet occurred. In ad 70 for the first time in Israels history. they were completely scattered abroad, removed from their land (even under the gentile captivity starting with babylon, they still lived in the land, even had puppet kings) And the nations who treated Israel badly has not yet been punished..

Ezekiel says the same thing.

Ezek 37:

[SUP]21 [/SUP]“Then say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Surely I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land; [SUP]22 [/SUP]and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king over them all; they shall no longer be two nations, nor shall they ever be divided into two kingdoms again. [SUP]23 [/SUP]They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will deliver them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. Then they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

[SUP]24 [/SUP]“David My servant shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd; they shall also walk in My judgments and observe My statutes, and do them. [SUP]25 [/SUP]Then they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob My servant, where your fathers dwelt; and they shall dwell there, they, their children, and their children’s children, forever; and My servant David shall be their prince forever.

Same thing,,

1. He will not let them go unpunished for their sins
2. He will return them from the nations where he sent them
3. He will give them the land he gave abraham and the fathers (not heaven, The land in the middle east of present day earth)
4. They will repent, and he will restore them.

in fact, it is said in many places same story.. Paul mentions it in Romans 11.

The blood of bulls and goats never took away sin,, They were ALWAYS shadows.. In the day of Christ, the high priest going in to sacrifice on the day of atonement, Was doing so in sin, The reason he did not die the moment he entered is because God left the Holy Of Holys along time ago.

the two wintesses are two literal men, Who will be killed. their bodies will lie on the streets, people all over the earth will look at their two bodies. for three days, then they will miraculously be given life. and raise from the dead. and ascend into heaven,

The witness I am sure will bring many people to God..

The point is, It is not the law and prophets, It is men, who witness according to the law and prophets. (just like Paul did when he argiued from the law and prophets to prove Jesus was the messiah.

Please review John 5
i think you overlooked John 5:28 through 5:29

You provided the scripture for those who have heard the VOICE of THE SON of GOD now

John 5:28 through 29 refers to those who hear the VOUCE of THE SON of GOD at the end of all these things: After the end of this present ministry of reconciliation , When all has been accomplished and the full numbers in CHRIST are complete and HE has put the last of HIS enemies under HIM

Referring to your other post: Yes the veil was rent but still some remain outside the TRUE VEIL

Only according to YOU. But they did return in 4th to !st centuries BC

and My servant David shall be their prince forever.

of course they were. Palestine was full of them
I was full of cake last not also. But I did not eat it all. There was cake scattered all over my house. Just like there were jews scattered all over the roman empire.

read the passages, It says he will restor them all from the place they had been scattered.. Alot does not equal all.

Israel were a specially privileged nation, allies rather than servants, under Rome
Yep. that is why they wanted Jesus to remove them from the burden of being a slave to rome. A slave is a slave is a slave..

The things people will do to water down things to make it appear to have been true.. I am thankful when God fulfills prophesy, he does it in a way no one can question if it was done or not..

but still, people want to symbolise it, or make a partial so called fulfillment a full fulfillment.

they were the dispersion, those who had not gathered back

And will always be so,
The passages I just showed prove otherwise As well as the many other passages I have not shown, And pauls words himself. They will ALL be saved, they will ALL be restored.

If you do not want to believe it, thats fine, but me, I have to take God at his word.

all the true Israel, the elect.

Paul says otherwise.. The elect in this day are enemies concerning the gospel but loved concerning the election, Because Gods promises are irrevocable..

But hey,, Again, believe as you wish.. I take God to say if he says it, he means it, and he will never relent.

Only according to YOU. But they did return in 4th to !st centuries BC

Yep. Because they repented. And God destroyed the land and people who enslaved them..

Not!

Then began the time of Jacob's trouble

4th to 1st centuries BC

fulfilled under Zerubbabel

fulfilled in the Messiah

fulfilled in intertestamental years

Funny that I did not see it there?

Same old song and dance, We must read different bibles.. Or maybe in reality, We do listen to different men..

We were talking about Jacob
Not the families of Israel

It's the whole point of thus thread that Jacob is atill
Jacob until GOD calls them into ISRAEL

And it will be only ONE COVENANT

The Gentiles have received what was promised to the Jew in the law and the prophets

I would offer the two witness are the law and the prophets (sola scriptura) Something that the apostate Jews called heresy.

The word of God in respect to the same spirit of faith according as it is written is the witness by which we can hear God who remains without form.

We as new creatures(the bride of Christ) walk by faith and not after the flesh as that seen.

Those things can not be killed. Lay on the street for 3 days, Be ressurected, and ascend into heaven, as a witness to God.

Sorry, I just can not do it, I must take God literally.
