I'm not going to respond to your post

if you don't respond back to mine .

Is this the Spirit of the teachings you teach? Your behavior testifies to your Spirit....And this expectation is not that of the Spirit of Christ.

Acts 20: 35.

"It is more blessed to give than receive."

Mark 10:44-45.

"And whoever would be first among you must be slave to all, For even the son of man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."..

How many times have you mentioned the name of Jesus in these posts? Who is the light of your teachings? I am befuddled to see it in you...

sI was just saying that the word "scripture" in the NT is almost or always referring to the writings of the old testament, not that the Gospel is not spoken of in the NT. Or that the sayings of the NT are not scripture.

lol, well, which one is it, almost or always

None of the writers of those letters were thinking they were "books" to be considered inspired in the canon of the NT, I guess.

They simply wrote for those they knew in those churches. And Paul, certain time, asked one of his followers this:

2Ti 4:13 Bring the cloak which I left with Carpus at Troas when you come--and the books, especially the parchments.

I am not KJV Only and I am not Original Only .

All scripture is given by inspiration of God.

Psalms 12:6-7
6 The words of the LORD are pure words:
as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them
from this generation for ever.

But neither do I want a paraphrase that waters down the Word.

I start with the KJV because that's the Word in my heart being it was my first bible when I was saved. When the Holy Spirit brings up the Word to remembrance, it's in this form. I can bounce from that foundation to other translations to better understand or expound on what my modern mind can't grasp in KJV style. But even those are considered for proper translation for what God really said.

Ok, this is important, there are two types of bibles,

Holy Bibles and Corrupt Bibles .

KJV 2 Corinthians 2:17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God:
but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

Bible canonization is a difficult subject .

God not only put together a book containing his words, he purified the text.

KJV Psalms 40:7 Then said I, Lo, I come:

in the volume of the book it is written of me,

KJV Job 19:23 Oh that my words were now written !

oh that they were printed in a book!

When the Lord gave scripture to O.T. Jews, he gave it to them in their language.

When the Lord gave scripture to N.T. Christians, he gave it to them
in the language of the day.

Then the Lord gave nations Holy Bibles in their language.

Finally, the Lord gave the entire world Holy Bibles in the universal language,
which was translated into languages throughout the world.

The KJV Holy Bible is the most translated bible of all time.

The KJV Holy Bible is the most translated book of all time.

sure, anyone can... it's probably not a good idea to say it's from God, though... unless you really believe it is...

the bible doesn't contain a list of books that are supposed to be in it... so, different groups of christians in different times used different lists...

it looks to me that's the way God chose to do it...

KJV Psalms 12:6-7
6 The words of the LORD are pure words:
as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them
from this generation for ever.
