Hi Josh,

True.
Adventists make the law their god. It's called, being perfected by the flesh (Gal 3:3). Self-righteousness.

But Adventists are a mixed bunch, and not all are legalists.

Some are true legalists declaring that anybody who does not keep the commandments, is lost.

But I've known many Adventists who are not legalists. They even work on the Sabbath or eat the foods they're not supposed to, unless one of the legalistic Adventists is nearby and watching.

Interestingly, whilst strict Adventists declare we have to keep the commandments, the fact is none of them keep the commandments anyway.
that's the bizarre, insane, crazy, mindblowing, head hurting party i forgot frustrating.. and what's more frustrating they show me this “If you love me, you will keep my commandments. [h=3]John 14:15[/h]
pretty frustrating to deal with.....and whenever i raise up the point all of them just flee away from the thread and continue on another very frustrating...

How is this for a fashion trend?

The reform dress.
Basically a dress over a pair of pants. Nice and feminine and masculine!

Any ladies out there want to wear this on a warm summer day? I mean if you have been wanting some male attention a heat stroke is sure to help!

This was Ellen G White's contribution to the fashion world. It lasted for a less than a decade until Ellen White decided it was too bulky, too hot and too much clothing to remove when in need of a quick bathroom break.

Here is a book that readers might review in this regard, called Lying for God. It is about the Seventh Day Adventist church.

Personally I don't trust them much as an organization, although I have met some very nice people who are SDA. I received flyers announcing Bible studies by them, where they failed to identify their denominational affiliation. That indicates some level of deceptive behavior on their part. I talked to a Seventh Day Adventist friend about this and he admitted that they do in fact practice this sort of thing because they know they have a reputation as a cult.

In addition, the Church's official position is that those who fail to keep the Saturday Sabbath in the end times are under the mark of the Beast and will lose their salvation.

I also wonder if anyone who presses the Sabbathkeeping issue really understands justification by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone.
