Was he? Where is this in the OT ?
A better question is...'where is it not written?'

Over and over again...Moses writes about a Triune God.

Where have you been...asleep at the wheel...?

And that's not the answer to my one question, why was the messiah called jesus and not Immanuel as is written in the OT messianic prophecie?
Quote the scripture.

I'm not a scholar but I know it's written in the messianic prophesie that he shall be called Immanuel, you also know this but are being clever and trying to get me to read more of this nonsense book, why can't you just answer the straightforward question I've asked ? Is it because you have no answer? Is it because you know what I say is true?

You're starting to sound like an ignorant follower of islam.

You can't even tell us what The Trinity even is...much less deny it...even the authors of the Koran understood The Trinity...

We all supposedly belive in the same GOD we just have different names for a Him so please don't call Muslims ignorant, there God is our God.once again, why is the messiah called Immanuel in the messianic OT prophecies and not Jesus?

Also, the Islamic view is that they belive in one god, like the jews, they don't belive in the holy trinity, they regard jesus as a prophet,as they do mohammed, there's is a monolistic religion, like Judaism,I am interested in all religions, especially the small differences between them that ultimately become massive differences.i will admit to being drawn to Judaism as it seems they belive in a faith that hasn't been changed by man, what they belive now is what they belived in moses days,it hasn't been interfered with by men with conflicting views,ie catholics and prodestants ( like me)

No.

We most assuredly do NOT believe in the same God.

If you deny that God is Triune, you cannot be saved.

once again, why is the messiah called Immanuel in the messianic OT prophecies and not Jesus?

Once again....quote the scripture.

You don't even know enough to do this...

Both the scriptures of Jews and Muslims promote a Triune God.

However, just like them, you are scripturally ignorant...

Isa 9.6 states that he shall be called heavenly Father.

So...which one are you to believe..?

Remember...you already busted yourself for claiming that scripture was bogus to begin with...so now...certain portions are OK. right...?

Doof...

the Muslims and Jews and Christians all belive in the same GOD the father, and your calling me ignorant!!!
No.

They do not...

So can I take it you belive the Holy Spirit is the mediator between us and God? Or is jesus the mediator? One of these is wrong, they both appear in the bible so are inspired so according to you, can't be wrong but logic says they can't both be right!
no I did not say that

the question was if we have the holy spirit [in] us ,
would he not be the better mediator between us and God.
would seem that he would but bible says Jesus is.

what I believe is there was God [and] the word, 2 god like beings not three.

the Holy Spirit is the very power of God, not a third person.

“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”

So you chose to ignore Isaiah 7:14 ? Why don't you google " Islams view on the trinity " it will tell you what god (Allah) Muslims worship!! It's the same as ours, the god of Abraham, the god of moses!!! The Jews also worship the same god as us,Jesus himself was a Jew,he worshiped the same god! This is why I find the whole trinity thing so hard to understand, that Jesus would worship himself, that Jesus would refer to God as " my father " and "our lord" if he was referring to himself ? I understand you belive he was the manifestation of God on earth,as a man,and as he was Gods son he is equal to Him,I'm not being disrespectful of your views,It just don't make sence for Jesus to be God,why would an omnipresent GOD need to manifest on earth as human? He can achieve anything he needs to as GOD,He don't need to become a man,if ever there was a time God may of wanted to be on earth as a human wouldn't of that been during the exodus when Gods chosen people were in such peril ? Or during the 2nd world war when Millions of Jews were being tourtured and killed?
