It was not her free will that caused the trials she endured it was those who inflicted their will upon her. they were disobedient to God. they choose to do what God forbid.

It is her will to allow bitterness and hate to eat away at her life and stay enslaved to sin or to obey God and understand His freedom, grace, mercy and Love by forgiving those who misuse her and praying for them to repent and come to truly know God and obey Him so they might not repeat the sin upon another.

that is what I would tell such a young woman. I would ask: will you live in love or will you live in hate?

Will you allow God to heal you or will you pick at the scab and pour salt on the wound?

That's an extreme example but it's the same for everyone. One with no money will steal to eat. One with no shelter might trespass on property for shelter. I don't want to streal, but by being weak in the flesh and subjected to vanity again against my will , being under the elements. God being Spirit doesn't need food to live, while I'm subjected to the vanity of hunger. I won't steal all the time as I know it's wrong. I delight after the law in the inner man, but the weakness in my flesh being exposed to hunger gave way to what I knew was wrong to do! Sin took advantage of me. I don't want to be like this, but I am.

That girl can choose to run away from her family and get a job as a waiter and work herself up either way.

Free will is not an allusion.

Yes but it's still a choice.

a poor man may steal to eat but another will rather die then to steal and dishonor the name of God.

It's a continual battle between flesh vs spirit.

It's God who saves a sinner AFTER one chooses to believe in Him through Christ.

These decisions are influenced by forces we cannot control.

captive = imprisonment against an individual's will.
