What, exactly, do you mean by this comment. It seems ambiguous to me.
Ambiguous? Don't know what could have been more clear, but maybe that verse wasn't for you. Let's try this one,

John 11:35 Jesus wept.

Exactly, for there are a lot of people that have been taught and in their reading of scripture have misused the verse, "It is finished, " to mean that all things are done and nothing else is left. All prophecy is fulfilled, try to say Revelation has already happened, and even go as far as saying we don't even need to repent any more.
Even the Olivet Prophecy is yet to occur.

It is not scriptural mankind must complete world evangelism in the first place, speaking of prophecy,

Revelation 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people.
Ambiguous? Don't know what could have been more clear, but maybe that verse wasn't for you. Let's try this one,

John 11:35 Jesus wept.
Well alrighty then, In your first post, you say that "It is not scriptural mankind must complete world evangelism in the first place," and then quote Rev 14:6 in which an angel is given the task of preaching the gospel to the world.

Which is it, mankind preaching the gospel worldwide or an angel and is the return of Christ and the end of the age dependent on either one?

Angela you don't have to believe the times we are in but the gospel has been preached to the entire world via internet t.v. and evangelists going to countries like africa or something teaching and preaching the gospel. have you studied bible prophecy at all? I mean how can you say we are not in the end times if you haven't even studied bible prophecy?

Oh really! I just read a report that 4.4 BILLION people do not have internet. This is more than half the population of the world!! Of course, how many millions of people who do have internet actually hear the gospel preached? Or do not know how to read? (Try one BILLION people!)

"That number is the finding of a new study that tried to quantify what the global offline population looks like. The report, based on research in collaboration with Facebook and written by the consulting firm McKinsey & Co., found that of the estimated 7 billion-plus people alive today, more than half are offline. This is after 1.8 billion people joined us here on the Internet since 2014."

http://www.npr.org/blogs/alltechconsidered/2014/10/02/353288711/why-4-4-billion-people-still-dont-have-internet-access

Here is another chart which verifies that there are more people who are off line in the world, than on-line.

World Internet Users Statistics and 2014 World Population Stats

I have studied prophecy extensively, using the Bible, not the latest youtube video or fiction book by someone wanting to sell so-called "endtimes" predictions.

So with over 4000 people groups who are unreached, and 4.4 billion who do not have access to the internet, it seems obvious that Jesus will not come sooner, but probably later.

Until you realize that America is not the only country in the world, you will continue harping on these false prophecies.
For that matter, do you know how many people do not have electricity in the world? Or live in poverty? Or don't have access to clean water?

Time to wake up and accept that the gospel is NOT being preached to all the world, especially those living in primative conditions in countries which do not have the resources to have media, nor the Bible in their own languages!

  1. According to UNICEF, 22,000 children die each day due to poverty. And they “die quietly in some of the poorest villages on earth, far removed from the scrutiny and the conscience of the world. Being meek and weak in life makes these dying multitudes even more invisible in death.”Source 4
  2. Around 27-28 percent of all children in developing countries are estimated to be underweight or stunted. The two regions that account for the bulk of the deficit are South Asia and sub-Saharan Africa.
If current trends continue, the Millennium Development Goals target of halving the proportion of underweight children will be missed by 30 million children, largely because of slow progress in Southern Asia and sub-Saharan Africa.Source 5
  3. Based on enrollment data, about 72 million children of primary school age in the developing world were not in school in 2005; 57 per cent of them were girls. And these are regarded as optimistic numbers.Source 6
  4. Nearly a billion people entered the 21st century unable to read a book or sign their names.Source 7
  5. Less than one per cent of what the world spent every year on weapons was needed to put every child into school by the year 2000 and yet it didn’t happen.Source 8
  6. Infectious diseases continue to blight the lives of the poor across the world. An estimated 40 million people are living with HIV/AIDS, with 3 million deaths in 2004. Every year there are 350–500 million cases of malaria, with 1 million fatalities: Africa accounts for 90 percent of malarial deaths and African children account for over 80 percent of malaria victims worldwide.Source 9
  7. Water problems affect half of humanity:
    • Some 1.1 billion people in developing countries have inadequate access to water, and 2.6 billion lack basic sanitation.
    • Almost two in three people lacking access to clean water survive on less than $2 a day, with one in three living on less than $1 a day.
    • More than 660 million people without sanitation live on less than $2 a day, and more than 385 million on less than $1 a day.
    • Access to piped water into the household averages about 85% for the wealthiest 20% of the population, compared with 25% for the poorest 20%.
    • 1.8 billion people who have access to a water source within 1 kilometre, but not in their house or yard, consume around 20 litres per day. In the United Kingdom the average person uses more than 50 litres of water a day flushing toilets (where average daily water usage is about 150 liters a day. The highest average water use in the world is in the US, at 600 liters day.)
    • Some 1.8 million child deaths each year as a result of diarrhoea
    • The loss of 443 million school days each year from water-related illness.
    • Close to half of all people in developing countries suffering at any given time from a health problem caused by water and sanitation deficits.
    • Millions of women spending several hours a day collecting water.
    • To these human costs can be added the massive economic waste associated with the water and sanitation deficit.… The costs associated with health spending, productivity losses and labour diversions … are greatest in some of the poorest countries. Sub-Saharan Africa loses about 5% of GDP, or some $28.4 billion annually, a figure that exceeds total aid flows and debt relief to the region in 2003.Source 10

During the tribulation, prior to the end of the tribulation and return of the Lord, an angel is preaching the gospel to the entire world. In Matthew 24:14, worldwide preaching of the gospel is a prerequisite to the end, but evangelism to the entire world is being done by an angel in Revelation, and, further, this after the 144,000 are taken to be in the presence of Christ. So, I'm saying the Bible states it's not necessary that TBN have a TV set in every home, before Christ returns. Scripture states the end of evangelism happens during the tribulation, the claim we must preach the gospel to, as if, every native colony in Borneo is not true, according to this very clear scripture. (The efforts of man don't dictate the timing of God, in the first place.) Those who don't see this, I really never come here to argue, was simply contributing scripture that states a very different picture.

book ends you can choose to believe me or not it doesn't really matter I was merely saying what happened to me it is not to prove anything because like I said I don't rely on my visions and dreams to know about the end times I go to scripture and compare it to every day events and this method has worked very well thus far. and as for you above post saying how it seems like I am saying we should not be seeking a sign I believe you misunderstand I never said we should not be watching for the signs but to constantly be seeking sign after sign instead of doing research and seeking God is when we must realize what has taken place as our main focus.
ok, can you please still answer my question in post #32?

Mar 13:10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.

Mar 16:14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.
Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

I have heard that before but He has commissioned His disciples to preach the gospel into all the world. Yes, the angel will preach the gospel, but the church is commissioned also.

Oh heavens yes! I would not even want to imply the preaching of the gospel to the world, by the church, not the important, number one priority, was rather pointing out the hole in the prevalent claim man's evangelical efforts must reach all, before Christ can come, a claim the Bible doesn't support, by the very clear verse cited. So, if anybody is thinking He's far off, that they can skate, because there are too many pockets of heathen left, that person should think again.

In the past, when God sent prophets to His people, He sent the prophets to the leaders of Israel and then their responsibility was to warn the people. May just be the same in the future.

I'm afraid my friend that Jesus had the perfect opportunity to be their earthly king, but Jesus, not the Jews, turned it down. He's not interested in an earthly kingdom, but a spiritual one.

John 6:15
New American Standard Bible
So Jesus, perceiving that they were intending to come and take Him by force to make Him king, withdrew again to the mountain by Himself alone.
Not really. Jesus came to die for man's sin. Mark 10:45 He will return as King. His first advent was not about being King but Savior. Jesus came to redeem us. When He returns we will rule with Him.

For the cause of Christ

Personally I do believe we are in the end times...whether or not we are in the beginning of the end times or nearing the end of them is quite another thing. It is my own personal opinion that we are only at the beginning of them. I don't think my opinion is any more valid than the next person's though.

to answer your question let me ask you another question, when you read scripture do you think it is for the time they were in or the time we are in? I have found that much of the scriptures if not all were meant for their time and ours. the word of God speaks to whomever it is needed because it is alive. a wicked Generation that seeks a sign was meant for both them and us, the Pharisee's wanted a sign after sign and today instead of studying the scriptures, doing research with the holy spirit ppl these days want the next vision, the next dream they want the next prophetic word from ppl who claim to be prophets. Granted these things are sometimes very helpful but if we don't take the time to study for ourselves then we really don't want to know the truth we simply want to have our ears tickled

[/QUOTE This is an important bunch of facts,It reminds me of the steward who wasted the goods the master gave him to minister to the members of his house, and used them for riotous living. How can WE use resources given by God on all the self centered life style of capitalism? While so many live in suffering and real misery, much of which leads to death in so many people. Are we really preaching the Gospel? Or are we saying be ye warmed and filled and don't give whats needful to the body? The bible calls these people Hypocrites. have just been reading Amos 5:13 There fore the prudent shall keep silence at that time; for it is an evil time. Seek good and not evil....18 woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord, to what end is it for you? The day of the Lord is darkness not light...8:9...Let your hands be strong ye that here in these days.16 these are the things that you should do Speak every man truth to his neighbor. execute the judgement of truth, don't imagine evil in your hearts against your neighbor ,love no false oath these are the things that I hate says the Lord.We should be concerned with those suffering ,giving of what we have instead of debating things we know little about to one another with our words 5:15 Hate the evil and love the good ,establish judgement in the gate: it maybe that the Lord will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph,

Blain, there are billions of people who have never heard the gospel. There are over 4000 people groups that have never heard the Bible, mostly those who do not read or write, or have the Bible in their own language! And over a billion people who do NOT know how to read and write, so even if they had a bible in their own language, they could not read it. The world is poor! And we who are rich need to persevere in our efforts to spread the GOOD NEWS, which is the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Blain you are holding onto your end times agenda, which is NOT what God would have us do! The need to reach people for Christ is "the heart of God." Perhaps you could take a country with great need, and pray for it? Or pray daily for a different nation, which you can find here!

Join the Prayer Movement | Operation World

Not only that, but reaching the world with the gospel is NOT the responsibility of just a few missionaries, but Jesus last command to all his disciples. If you are NOT a disciple, then continue on the false path you are on, of glorying in dreams and visions which are not Biblical, and ignoring the truth of the lost billions on this planet. Or course, you can pretend the world is being reached, the stats are wrong, but if you did a little research, you would find the urgency of the truth of my words and admonitions. You are a YOUNG Christian, Blain, and you need to learn the truth about God's commands, which are to make disciples in Jerusalem (where you are), Judea (your own country) and the Samaria (every lost ethnic group in the world)!

Notice here that JESUS says that you should not be worrying about times or seasons, but rather to preach the gospel to all the world! We are part of that plan! Everyone of us! Not just missionaries!!

The last commands of Jesus are SO IMPORTANT! Here they are again, in case you have missed them in your search for clues to the end times, rather than obeying Christ that we are to be a part of the mission, and not leave.

"And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. [SUP]19 [/SUP]Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [SUP]20 [/SUP]teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age" Matt 28:18-20

"So when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” [SUP]7 [/SUP]He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:6-8

As for end times, I have posted this over and over and over again. Maybe you should read it, and then read the whole of Matthew 24. Jesus lists the signs, and then he AGAIN says this!!

"And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." Matt. 24:14

So again, are you part of the solution, or part of the problem, Blain? It sounds like you are part of the problem, because you don't understand that our job as Christians is to pray for and share the gospel with everyone. Not just evangelists or missionaries. If you do not do your job, the job will never be done. We are all part of the body of Christ, and if one person does not do what we are called to do, then Jesus will not be returning, in spite of your poor interpretation of so-called signs of the end times.

"For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, [SUP]5 [/SUP]so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another." Romans 12:4-5

One final note Blain, you talk about having studied Bible prophecy, but I don't see you posting a single Scripture to show your points. You are obviously not studying hard enough, that you would post your dreams before the Word of God. That is what we stand on! Not some dream a young Christian has who doesn't know to compare his dreams to the Bible!!

From Operation World!

"
If all the desires, requests and goals expressed throughout this website were to be implemented it would radically change the nations of this world.

Wars would be ended, ethnic hatreds tamed, politicians become honest, ecological restoration begun, global warming and AIDS halted, poverty reduced.
The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ would be provided with godly leaders, it would be renewed, revived, united in vision, mobilized for mission and readied for the return of its Head. Jesus would return with the world evangelized and the Church complete! That is the wish. How much of the earthly and how quickly the eternal agendas would be achieved depends on ONE activity – prayer in the name of Jesus to a loving, sovereign Father.

When man works, man works; When man prays, God works.

The ministry of the children of God is not doing but praying, not strategizing, but prostrate before God seeking His will, not clever stratagies for manipulating people and events but trusting in God who moves in the hearts of even His most implacable enemies. Through prayer Nebuchadnezzar, and today’s dictators get converted, Manassah’s and today’s persecutors repent and kingdoms of Babylon and Iron Curtains are torn down. We do not engage in ministry and pray for God’s blessing on it, prayer IS the ministry from which all other ministries must flow.
Psalm 2 reveals the Father’s Great Commission to His Son and how the destiny of nations is tied in with their rejection of or submission to His Kingly Son. Look at the command and promises of Ps 2:8.
'Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron, And dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.'

Dare we apply this command and these promises to ourselves?

God spoke to me from Psalm 2:8 as a young Christian at university in Bristol, England. I heard for the first time of the work of the Dorothea Mission in the urban slums of Southern Africa. I knew that God was speaking to me that this was His will for me, but I asked the Lord for scriptural confirmation, and it was this passage which spoke to me – South Africa was, for me, one of the ends of the earth for which I could ask. I did not realize at the time that this “asking for the nations” would actually define a large part of my ministry for the next 40 years in successive editions of Operation World! Again this passage leapt to my mind. It was as if God was saying, “I called you to one end of the earth, but now I am giving you all the ends!”

The content of this website give something of the needs and challenges of our needy, sin-sick, doomed world. The nations are there for the asking. God is calling you and me into the ministry of intercession for them. Through these prayers much will happen – above all we could ask or expect. In this edition we have added a new feature of giving a few answers to prayers requested in earlier editions for which there has been some answer. Daniel heard God’s voice in Daniel 7:27:

'The kingdom and the dominion and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High; Their kingdom shall be an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey them. The cost is great, for these words were preceded in verse 21-22 by:
As I looked, this horn made war with the saints, and prevailed over them, until the Ancient of Days came, and judgement was given for the saints of the Most High, and the time came when the saints received the kingdom.'

The enemy will seek to frighten us and dangle allurements to distract us from the vision of a heavenly, eternal kingdom filled with people from every race, tribe, people and tongue. Yet Jesus offers you a share in his reign. We may look up to Him in agony at times, but see your true position looking down with Him exercising the authority bequeathed to you by Him in the Great Commission He has given to you and every Christian. May you become an intercessor with a world vision that prays Satan-defeating, kingdom-taking, people-reaching, captive-releasing, revival-giving, Christ-glorifying prayers.

Prayer not only changes people, situations and even the course of history, but also those who pray! It is dangerous for the enemy and also 'dangerous' for you.

There is a price to pay to be a person who stands in the gap in prayer. That price may mean becoming an answer to your own prayers in giving time, finances and even going out as a witness in your Jerusalem (where you now live), your Judea (your own country), your Samaria (the other ethnic groups in your own country) or even to the ends of the earth. Our prayer is that many will give their whole lives for this most noble of causes – to obey Jesus’ last command in making disciples of all nations and so ready the Church and the world for the grand climax of His glorious return.

It sounds like you are part of the problem, because you don't understand that our job as Christians is to pray for and share the gospel with everyone. Not just evangelists or missionaries. If you do not do your job, the job will never be done. "For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, [SUP]5 [/SUP]so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another." Romans 12:4-5

Angela I said I am done debating on this with you, you can say what you wish of me you can think what you want but I know the path I must follow and it isn't path that many understand. God knows my heart inside and out and he has made it very clear to me what I am to do in this world and in his kingdom and I have much to grow in and mature but I trust God to make me into the person he desires me to be and I will do the things he desires me to do not what you do or anyone else. My dreams and my methods of discussion are how God has taught me to do things at least for now and I cannot and will not change because you dislike them.

Not really. Jesus came to die for man's sin. Mark 10:45 He will return as King. His first advent was not about being King but Savior. Jesus came to redeem us. When He returns we will rule with Him.

For the cause of Christ
Roger
Wow, Christ is not a king as well? How does someone of your caliper miss this?

Acts 2
29 “Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. 30 Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne,[e] 31 he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption. 32 This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. 33 Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.

Matthew 28:
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore[c] and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Revelation 3:21
21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. (This is a promise for all believers who overcome the temptations of the world, those who don't defy Him in the times of trial and persecuation)...Jesus Himself states He is on His throne, and we will sit with Him. The Church of Laodicea was an actual 1st century church, a fact, not a future end of days church, to say so is speculation and has no biblical proof of this assertion.

to answer your question let me ask you another question, when you read scripture do you think it is for the time they were in or the time we are in? I have found that much of the scriptures if not all were meant for their time and ours. the word of God speaks to whomever it is needed because it is alive. a wicked Generation that seeks a sign was meant for both them and us, the Pharisee's wanted a sign after sign and today instead of studying the scriptures, doing research with the holy spirit ppl these days want the next vision, the next dream they want the next prophetic word from ppl who claim to be prophets. Granted these things are sometimes very helpful but if we don't take the time to study for ourselves then we really don't want to know the truth we simply want to have our ears tickled
All scripture what written for a particular people in a particular epic of time. It was written to them, but for us, meaning we can gleam all the spiritual wealth and truth the bible has to offer. Do some things apply to us, certainly, because God doesn't change. It takes discernment to know what is going on. If you read the bible with a 21st century mindset you are going to miss the intent/context of the author to his(HIS) hearers, the why, what, how and when.

Jesus does't tell us to watch the signs of times, he tells us to spread the gospel.
