Salvation is three-part - Spirit, Soul, and Body (I Thess 5:23)

Care to share your scripture you are standing on?
Here is my first one:

Romans 8:13For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Salvation is a one part thing.

Eternal life (a gift of God)
Justification (declared righteous) Again a gift of God
Born again (passed from death to life)
Sealed by the spirit of God, who is our guarantee
I can go on and on and on, I have just touched the basis of what those in Christ have in their posession.

As for the passage you wrote. that speaks of life on earth. We can have life abundantly in Christ, or be like we are dead, with no life at all. depending on what we do with what God gave us.

As paul said,

2 Corinthians 5:8
We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

I see you only like a scripture here and there - you must use all Bible. Please do address I Thess 5:23.

Most christians are more at home in the flesh, so they are absent from the Spirit (II Cor 3:17 - Now the Lord is that Spirit).
Are you God, you must be seeing that you judge people you do not even know.

I see you like to make the bible contradict.

How can paul wish to be absent from the body (because the body died) and present with the Lord, and then as you preach, teach this body will not die.

You know any apostles from Christ's time still alive today? if you do, I would love to meet them.

I Cor 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

It wont die IF, you live after the Spirit like Romans 8:13 states - which i notice you avoid.

Even God did not come to judge, you place yourself above God.

And a true christian will never die, Jesus made that promise in John 6. they can eat the bread of heaven and never die, live forever,, never hunger or thirst.

You claim it means physical death is spared. Yet Christ claims that those who eat the bread will be ressurected on the last day, How can they be ressurected if they do not die.

[SUP]37 [/SUP]All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. [SUP]38 [/SUP]For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. [SUP]39 [/SUP]This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. [SUP]40 [/SUP]And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

I am not avoiding anything,

When I follow the spirit, I have life abundant, If I fall and start to follow self. I have no life, only death.

Why do you not try to follow context of the passage to see which type of life paul is speaking of.

Wages of Sin is death. If you die, christian or not, you lived in sin - living after the flesh.
real simple.

but the gift of God is eternal life, in Christ Jesus (see how you did not post the entire verse? Eternal life is a gift, it cn not be earned by doing good. )

No one will make it to heaven in your gospel. which is no good news at all. because everyone sins, if you think you have no sin, you are deceived and their is no truth in you (1 John 1: 8) and we can all go on with our lives, knowing you have no truth. and get to important issues

If you admit you still sin, they you must admit you are wrong in your teaching, and maybe we can get somewhere.

The Life of the Ages (zoe aionious) as it is written in the greek, is in your Spirit as a free gift, but you "must work out this salvation" by sowing to the Spirit.

yes, we must work out this salvation. so we can have life abundantly and serve God, and be used as a light in the world.

but our salvation is still secure in christ, we must have it to work it out. and when we have it, it is called eternal life.

eternal means forever, if it can be lost, it is not eternal. God is a liar. and no one will get saved.

Yes, but until the Lord comes back to gather His people we can all still expect to die in the flesh. But as long as you are properly walking in the Spirit, and it reflects out through how you are in the flesh then when you die in the flesh you have nothing to worry about. As you will be part of the first resurrection that the second death has no power over you......
How can a person be sure he is PROPERLY WALKING IN THE SPIRIT?
Would that not be trusting in your own ability and rightousness.
I do not trust my strength, but I do trust in the strength and rightiousness of Jesus to keep me.

yes,

People are sinning and do not even know it. because they are not sinning in the way they think is sin (outwardly) so they think they are ok. when in reality, they are still in a condemned state, because they have not fully repented. and given their eternity to God.

I pray with my thoughts. No show us needed as I keep it to myself from the closet in my mind.
Sorry to say, whether you realize it or not, you have avoided my question and replied another that you already earlier mentioned.

Why is that friend?
