When Jesus died on the cross, he became a dead soul/spirit. The word Nephesh means breath/soul/spirit/man etc. Nothing of Jesus kept on living when He died. Again, this teaching of the soul moving out of the body and living somewhere else for the time being is a RCC teaching. Some people also teach that the soul is moving into another being at birth ie. Reincarnation. It is not correct. When man dies, the breath/soul/spirit leaves his body and mixes with air around him. That is the truth. When Adam was created, God "breathed over Adam and he became a living soul".
okay, noproblem we just 100% disagree, and why ? because Christ said to the thief that chose to believe that very moment that that thief would be with him in Heaven.

Your example of Water is irrelevant. What do you have at the end of the day, still only water.
At the current moment you have two entities in heaven namely God and Jesus Christ, not just God. If you do not believe this, you have a serious problem to explain why not.
So Frank who is the comforter, the Holy Ghost, so you don't think God can be three in one okay, no problem it is not and eternal issue. The only eternal issue is whether one beleives or not and God is actually the only Judge on that whether one believes or not, no matter what I say or you or anyone else.
Love you Frank and thank you for your opinion we just do not agree, and I know God is just, so I pray for us all, hoping no one else is preying, even though I know there is preying over praying.
Please let our hearts be real recieved from God and thanks for those that do, along with those that don't for I know all things work towards God's good not mans
Thanks

Whether Christ was man or God is the question that is going to be decided for sure at the second coming of Christ. The forces against Christ are gathering, Muslims are making headway in all countries, Jews are being sent by God to Jerusalem, and even here on cc there are posters fighting even that. Missionaries to the Muslims are saying their Allah is God, just they are to accept Christ. They are saying they do, but it is as a teacher not as God the Savior. Satan is gathering his people wherever he can find them, and using whatever means he can to twist thinking against Christ as God.

There will be bloodshed. All prophecy has been correct, even though the way God carries it out has always been a surprise. God will win, that is the one absolutely clear thing about today's prophecy.

The showdown is coming closer and closer.

Christ is God, God is made up of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
Your statement that Christ is God is not in line with the Bible. He was a God before He gave up His deity status, before He came down to this earth as MAN. He was resurrected as MAN and is now sitting on the right hand side of God as the High priest. There are now two separate entities in heaven namely God the Father and Jesus Christ His Son. Jesus Christ received His omnipotency back with His resurrection and Jesus Christ is now also with us on this earth as the Holy Spirit. You will notice in your Bible that there will only be two Thrones in the New Jerusalem. That is because Jesus and God the Father will occupy them and there will be no throne for the Holy Spirit as there will be no more need for the 'separate' Jesus-Holy Spirit as Jesus will be there with His people. That is why Jesus said 'Where two or more are gathered in My Name, there I will be." and not the Holy Spirit. Jesus will be among the people on earth who gathers in His Name. So to say that God consist of three entities is definitely incorrect. This subject has troubled me for many years and I believe I have received the light which I am now spreading, because it is so logical if you look at it from a different angle without all the guessing and theories that are being spread around. This is the only explanation that really makes sense. The Bible is also not a Da Vinci Code, it is a document that even the layman like me can understand. Jesus, as the Holy Spirit, will guide you if you are earnest about following the Truth.

I am on this site because there are many people who do not know the Truth and are searching for it. With this type of debating, other people can learn and it also opens our mind to look at subjects from another angle, which I have been doing, and not the follow the old traditional teachings which are filled with riddles and untruths. Jesus Christ wants us to spread the Truth as there is also Satan on the other side who is laughing to the bank with all the people that he has caught with lies and deception. Yes, we all have a right of our own, but that has got nothing to do with spreading the Truth. I don't hate anybody which means that I love everybody, and that includes you. Have a blessed Sabbath today, Saturday 29 June 2013.

It is funny you should ask this question, but I am laughing because my username actually relates to the answer.

Q: "Was Jesus man or God when He walked on the earth?

A: He was both.

It was determined at the Council of Nicaea that Jesus was both fully man and fully God. This is something known as the Nicene Creed. Additionally, the term for Jesus' full humanity and full divinity is Hypo-static Union. Anyway, both Catholics and Protestants alike, acknowledge the validity of the Nicene Creed (one of the few things they can agree on). All Jokes aside, might I suggest you read the Nicene Creed for yourself, as it is truly one of the most important creeds in church history. I honestly could have explained exactly what it is a little better to you, but I think it is best you read it for yourself. Thanks for the forum!

Grace and Peace!
Why read the Nicene Creed or Da Vinci Code or any other document. The Bible is an inspired document that contains the Truth and no other document will provide the Truth as it does. To believe the Nicene Creed, even if it is accepted by the RCC and the Protestant churches, could be the work of Satan, and has no value to me and I will not waste my time reading it. I would rather make a more in depth study of the Bible.

My opinion, Jesus Christ in Spirit form is the Comforter, the Holy Spirit/Ghost. God can be three in one if He wants it to be but in this case, I believe that God is on His own and so is Jesus Christ on His own which is the only logical solution to all the guessing and riddles. The Godhead or God-family, like a parliament or any family, consist of two entities but because Jesus is on this earth as the Holy Spirit, you could argue that it consist of three. I cannot put it simpler than this.

God, I pray that Your Truth will set us free from all the untruth that floats around in this world today. Bless us and open our minds, and fill it with Your wisdom. I thank You in Jesus Name. Amen.

Jesus is noted in the Bible as the Son of God, and the son of man. He also said, I and my Father are one. To me, this is not hard to accept concerning the Trinity. I present a scripture:
John 14:9-11 (KJV)
[SUP]9 [/SUP]Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
[SUP]10 [/SUP]Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

TruthFromTom, I do not know what your particular view is on Christ and God. I do not even know whether or not you are a Christian, Jew, or Atheist. Perhaps you can inform me a little more about your particular belief system (or should I say skepticism?), as I would enjoy hearing what you have to say further. Although I should give you fair warning, I also enjoy bantering; it's all in fun! Let me know where your views lie on this position.

Grace and Peace!
I do not know TruthFromTom, but I have written enough already on my views regarding Christ and God and other important issues. Be my guest and view my site. If I defend a biblical matter, then I am definitely not a non-believer or atheist. Nationality ie. Jew is irrelevant in this case. Your sarcasm in this case is inappropriate and I will not lower myself to your standard. So is your remark about bantering which you obviously enjoy. If you cannot be serious about God and Jesus Christ and His teachings, carry on to follow Satan, because he teaches what you enjoy. I will pray for you.

Jesus Christ: 100% God in the beginning!

John 17
[5] And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

Jesus was God and shared the glory with the one that became known as God the Father before there was a world.

Phil.2
[5] Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
[6] Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

Jesus was an equal with the one that became known as God the Father.

And finally;

John 1
[1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Jesus was a God with the one known as God the Father in the beginnig.

Now that we know that the Word is Jesus Christ and that He was a God in the beginning....let's define just what this flesh is that Jesus became.

Jesus Christ: 100% Flesh and blood Man.

Isa.31
[3] Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down, and they all shall fail together.

God makes a distinction above. Horses are NOT spirit...they are flesh. Let's continue with our search....

Gen.6
[12] And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
[13] And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
[17] And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
[19] And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female.

So not only are Horses flesh....but everything that God made that breaths upon this earth is also flesh.

Gen.7
[21] And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:

So man too is considered a flesh being. And we also know that flesh is NOT spirit and is NOT God. So what is God? Let's read....

John 4
[24] God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

And what did the scriptures tell us the Word was BEFORE coming in the flesh?; "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

And let's confirm again what Jesus was in the beginning....

Phil.2
[5] Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
[6] Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

Now we are getting to see a difference. God's word tells us that man is flesh and blood and that God is a Spirit. Jesus was God in the beginning and then was born flesh and blood man. It is becoming clear that God, a spirit being is NOT the same as man, a flesh and blood being. Let's find out more about spirits....

Heb.1
[7] And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
[14] Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

So now we know that angels too are spirits. So angelic beings are of the same family as God. BOTH are spirit beings, as opposed to man, flesh beings. Let's confirm this with scripture....

1 Cor.15
[35] But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?

So the question is asked, "What type of body will those that raise from the dead will have?". Let's find out...

[39] All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.

Now we already know what flesh beings are from reading Gen. chap's 6 & 7. And above we read the same thing. There are different types of flesh...but ALL of the above are flesh beings. Let's continue.....

[40] There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

And now we find that there is a difference between a flesh being and a spirit being.

[42] So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
[43] It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
[44] It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

When man is born of woman he is born a flesh being and man then dies. When man is raised he will no longer have a flesh and blood body, he will no longer be a flesh being.....he will be a spirit being. Man is born a flesh being but will be raised as a spirit being. Once this happens, man will have been born into the family of God, he will be as God...a spirit being. Let's continue. Let's find why Jesus came to this earth....

Heb.2
[5] For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.
[6] But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?
[7] Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:

Above we find that man was made just a little lower than the angels. Was there any other that was made just as man....made lower than the angels? Let's read...

Heb.2
[9] But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
[14] Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
[16] For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

Phil.2
[7] But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
[8] And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Now a greater picture is coming together. We find that Jesus was born NOT as a spirit being, for He, just as man, was made lower that the angels. Jesus was born of a woman. Jesus did NOT take on the spirit nature of angels, but was born as a flesh and blood being just as you and I. And why did Jesus have to take the form of a flesh and blood being? The scripture already told us; "...for the suffering of death...", "...And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross."

Think about this for a moment..... God is a spirit being. Angels are spirit beings. Can a mortal man kill a spirit being? Can mortal man kill a God? Spirit beings CANNOT die. That is why God had to make a place called hell for their punishment. You cannot kill a spirit being. Let's continue to read and see how Jesus went from flesh and blood to spirit.

Here is a description of Jesus BEFORE His death...

1 John 5
[6] This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

1 Pet.4
[1] Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

And now a description of Him after His death but BEFORE becoming a spirit being....

Luke 24
[39] Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

Above we find that Jesus was yet a flesh and blood being AFTER His resurrection. With His own words He tells us He had not been made into a spirit being, for He still had a flesh body, something He tells us a spirit being does not have. At this point He had not ascended to heaven, the dwelling place of the Father.

Jesus Christ: Back to 100% God!

When Jesus ascended to the Father as our redeemer He was made a spirit being once again. Let's read what Jesus asked of the Father

John 17
[5] And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

Jesus asked to be as He was with the Father before the world was. And what was Jesus before the world? What was Jesus in the beginning? "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

Jesus was God!

And what is God? "God is a Spirit:..."

Christ was made a spirit being before entering into heaven. He had to, hence the scriptures;

1 Cor.15
[50] Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Jesus could not enter heaven with a flesh and blood body. Something that He clearly tells us He had above in Luke 24:39. So sometime after His resurrection BUT before entering heaven, God the Father granted Jesus request; "glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was."

Jesus had to go through the same transformation that each and every one of us hope and pray for. Jesus had to be 'born again'!

Spirit beings are not made up of the same substance as flesh and blood beings. Why is knowing this important? Because in order for mans sins to be forgiven BLOOD HAD TO BE SHED! And that is why Jesus came to this earth. To shed His blood for the remission of sins. Had Jesus been a 100% spirit being He would not have been able to accomplish what He came to do. Had Jesus been 100% God how would He have been able to save mankind? Something HAD to die to save mankind of his sins! And God cannot die! Only flesh and blood beings die....Jesus was just that; flesh and blood.

Let's review...

- Jesus was God in the beginning. John 1:1
- Jesus was then born flesh and blood of a woman. Luke 1:35, John 3:16-18
- Flesh and blood beings are NOT spirit beings. Isa. 31:3
- God and the angels are spirit beings. John 4:24, Heb. 1:7&14
- Flesh and blood beings are not made of the same substance as spirit beings. 1 John 5:6, Luke 24:39
- Jesus and man were made lower than the angels. Heb. 2:7&9
- Jesus took on the nature of man for the suffering of death. Heb. 2:9
- Jesus asked to be as He was in the beginning. John 17:5
- Jesus was born with a spirit body before entering heaven. 1 Cor.15:45-46, 50
- God is a spirit. John 4:24
- Jesus is now God, a spirit being as He was in the beginning. John 1:1

Now let's read of those that do NOT believe Jesus Christ was born of Mary as 100% man...

1 John 4
[2] Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
[3] And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

2 John 1
[7] For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Jesus was 100% flesh and blood man when born of Mary!

Jesus Christ; from 100% God, to 100% Flesh and Blood man, to 100% God...... again!

.
Eccl12and13, what an outstanding piece of work. I think that everybody that read this writing of yours will now be convinced that Jesus was 100% man on this earth. The only assumption that you have made is that Jesus is a God now. Although Jesus was taken up to heaven as a spiritual being and now sitting on the right hand of God as the High Priest, I do not believe that He has already received His full status as a God back at this stage. We do not have the proof that this has indeed happened but that is not a crisis. I personally believe that Jesus Christ will receive the full God status after the judgement as he can then still prove to the people, in front of Satan, that He died as man, bearing the scars in His hand and side, as a God He cannot do that. I would also like to hear your opinion regarding the Trinity concept which I have also written a lot about. Again, congratulations on a great piece of work.

In Philippians 2:6, the apostle Paul begins with the acknowledgement that Jesus is God and provides us with a revealed analysis of his redemptive function. Paul does not begin his discussion of Jesus from the vantage point of the incarnation but from that of eternity. What Paul stresses in the first part of this chapter is the example of humility that Jesus gave us in his willingness to divest himself of this form for a time on our behalf. This of course does not suggest that he ceased be God. He does not strip himself of deity. I am quite sure that we will never fully understand all that is involved in Jesus’ emptying himself of divine form and equality. All we can rely on is the language of the text. The word translated emptied means to lay aside. How do we explain how, even in the flesh, he is still God yet remains so without retaining anything that defines divine nature? Perhaps ‘to lay aside’ offers the best explanation. He laid it aside as one would a garment, then in Hebrews chapter one we will see him take it up again.

Emptying of Form: Empty is the verb that defines the action. Equal is an adjective that defines his nature. Equality is a noun that tells what was emptied out.

This is not a passive action. This is self-actuating. No one is doing this to him. He is the one who does the emptying. What he empties out of himself is both equality with God and divine nature. He must possess these qualities intrinsically in order to empty them out of himself..

In order for Jesus to fulfill his redemptive mission, he must assume a fleshly posture. We can find at least four reasons for this in scripture. 1) Divine essence cannot die. As man he will die. 2) The requirements of the Law of Moses required a sacrifice of flesh and blood. Divine essence is not made of flesh and blood. 3) His heritage must come from a specific fleshly linage. As God, he has no linage. 4) The demands of the Law were imposed upon man and it was required that man fulfill them. The Law required not only that man fulfill its demands but that only a man of the seed of Abraham to whom the Law was given. Thus, a Gentile could never have satisfied the Law, Romans 1:1-5.

Fulfilling the function of a sacrifice required that he assume the form of a sacrifice. In this metamorphosis, he poured out of himself every expression of deity. We do not know how he does this, only that this text shows us that he did. Divine essence is now submitted to limitations. As God, these characteristics of essence are, by their very nature, without boundaries or limitations, but as man, he will be subject to all of the same sets of determined relations that limit all men. Divine character is now submitted to vulnerability. As God, he cannot be tempted, but as man, he yields his divine character to the onslaught of Satan. He becomes the second Adam. He exposes his own moral integrity to the same temptations that are common to all men, Hebrews 2:18, 4:15, and 5:2. Yet, unlike Adam, he maintains his integrity all the way to the cross, Hebrews 4:15 and 2:9. He succeeds where Adam failed. He simply never sinned.

Emptying of Equality:

The word translated equality is nominative and accusative plural neuter suggesting equality in quantity or quality, Thayer's p 307. This is the same language used by Jesus in Matthew 20:12. Here, Jesus relates the parable of the workers in the vineyard. The accusation by those who had labored all day was that the Master was unjust because in giving equal wages to those who had worked fewer hours than they had worked he had granted them equal status. Paul now uses this same word to express the nature of Jesus' divine status. He did not gain his divine equality by an act of seizure or robbery. This equality is his by right of divine essence.

The Form of a Servant:

Taking the form of a servant is an exchange of nature. He exchanged the essence of God for the essence of man. Spirit clothes itself with flesh, John 1:1-2, Hebrews 2:14 and 10:5-10. This is much more than just a transformation from spirit to flesh. Every attribute that defined him as God will either be submitted to limitations or subjected to vulnerability. Omnipotence yields itself to dependency. The all-sufficient one now becomes fully dependent, Isaiah 12, John 5:30 and Matthew 4:1-10. He became subject to all of the same sets of determined relations that are part of all human existence. Omniscience gives way to revelation. He must learn God’s will as a man and submit to it, Hebrews 10:7, Deuteronomy 18:18-19, John 12:49-50 and 17-4. Omnipresence confines itself to the limitations of time and space. His Eternal nature is surrendered for mortality - he became subject to death. The transcendent One became an equal among his fleshly brethren, Hebrews 2:17. The unified One became the cursed of God, Mark 15:34, Galatians 3:13 and 2Corinthians 5:21. The unchanging One became subject to change. He not only changes form but his fleshly form will also be subject to all of the changes of natural biological processes.

In keeping with the posture of a servant / slave, Paul says that he did nothing through selfishness; that he did not seek his own glory but regarded others as more important than himself. He placed the needs of others above his own. He emptied himself. The servant reserves nothing of himself. He stands stripped of all personal will. All has become completely subjected. This is total surrender of control. Now, he is in the likeness of man. In the beginning, God, this God, created man in his own image, according to his own likeness. Now, this same God steps out of eternity into time to be made in the image of his creation - man. The Creator becomes the creature. The Lord of all becomes the servant of all. The Governor of the universe becomes subordinate to another and all of this by his own will.

A Cloak of Humility, Philippians 2:8:

Humility is not foreign to the character of man but rather intrinsic to it. Humility is demonstrated by obedience that characterized the life and ministry of the Lord. He "became" obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross." ‘Became’ suggests a change of status. Before assuming the posture of a man, he is not subject to deity as a subordinate creature or even as a lesser member of the triadic unity. This is a process of character development as a man, Matthew 26:52-54. He must learn obedience to the will of God as a man, completely subject to the will of the Father, Hebrews 5:8-9. He did not allow his status as Son of God to exempt him from the obligation of obedience. What then did he learn about obedience? There are at least eight things that scripture reveals about this learning process.

1. He learned its duty - Even though he was a son - This is the duty of sonship.
2. He learned its necessity - The cup cannot pass unless he drinks it.
3. He learned its demand - All that I am and all that I have – This is total consecration.
4. He learned its cost - For a time, it cost him even heaven itself. In the end, even his human life.
5. He learned its integrity - He kept the law of God all the way to the cross.
6. He learned its honor - He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey.
7. He learned its reward - He was highly exalted and given a name that is above every name. Because he learned all these things, he is now able to lay hold of the reward of obedience.
8. "Even death on the cross." This is the last, greatest act of humility. It is the culmination of everything in the purpose of God to redeem man back to himself. This is the last full measure of devotion for loves sake. He does not even consider equality with man a thing to hold on to. He even pours himself out to become the cursed of the cursed, Galatians 3:13 and Deuteronomy 21:23.

Enthroned and Glorified, Philippians 2:9-11
A. "Therefore" (because he humbled himself) God highly exalted him, 9.

B. "Given a name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow," 9-10 and Romans 14:11 - "Every knee shall bow and confess that Jesus is Lord / Jehovah," Isaiah 45:23.

Hello Mantrying,
This is a very interesting subject, and one that I am less familiar with. The Trinity is a hot discussion and can be a bit confusing. I did some research on this very topic that should give some understanding of Jesus being both man and God. I hope this helps.

Equally amazing to the doctrine of the Trinity is the doctrine of the Incarnation--that Jesus Christ is God and man, yet one person, forever. As J.I. Packer has said: "Here are two mysteries for the price of one--the plurality of persons within the unity of God, and the union of Godhead and manhood in the person of Jesus. ...Nothing in fiction is so fantastic as is this truth of the Incarnation," writes contemporary theologian J.I. Packer.[SUP]1[/SUP][SUP][/SUP][SUP]The early church considered the Incarnation to be one of the most important truths of our faith. Because of this, they formulated what has come to be called the Chalcedonean Creed, a statement which sets forth very what we are to believe and what we are not to believe about the Incarnation. This creed was the fruit of a large council that took place from October 8 to November 1, 451, in the city of Chalcedon and "has been taken as the standard, orthodox definition of the biblical teaching on the person of Christ since that day by" all the major branches of Christianity.
[/SUP]
[SUP][/SUP]
[SUP][/SUP][SUP][/SUP][SUP]2[/SUP][SUP][/SUP][SUP] There are five main truths with which the creed of Chalcedon summarized the biblical teaching on the Incarnation.[/SUP]
[SUP]1. Jesus has two natures -- He is God and man.
2. Each nature is full and complete -- He is fully God and fully man.
3. Each nature remains distinct.
4. Christ is only one Person.
5. Things that are true of only one nature are nonetheless true of the Person of Christ.
[/SUP]
[SUP][/SUP][SUP]
[/SUP]
[SUP]Jesus is fully God
We saw earlier that each Person of the Trinity is fully God. The three Persons of the Trinity are not each one-third of God, but are each all of God. Thus, Jesus is fully God since He is God the Son incarnate. This means that everything that is essential to being God is true of Jesus. Jesus is not part of God, or one-third of God. Rather, He is fully God. "For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form" (
[/SUP][SUP]Colossians 2:9[/SUP][SUP][/SUP][SUP]).[/SUP]
[SUP]
Jesus is fully man
It is also important to recognize that when we say that Jesus is man, we do not simply mean that He is partially man. We mean that He is fully human -- everything that belongs to the essence of true humanity is true of Him. He is just as truly human as the rest of us.

The fact that Jesus is truly and fully human is clear from the fact that He has a human body (

[/SUP][SUP]Luke 24:39[/SUP][SUP][/SUP][SUP]), a human mind ([/SUP][SUP]Luke 2:52[/SUP][SUP][/SUP][SUP]), and a human soul ([/SUP][SUP]Matthew 26:38[/SUP][SUP][/SUP][SUP]). Jesus does not just look like a man, He does not just have some aspects of what is essential for true humanity but not others, but possess full humanity.[/SUP]

Well the way I've typically heard it answered is that if he wasn't 100% God, then his death wouldn't have had the power to save us. However, if he wasn't 100% Man, then what he saved wouldn't have been us. As far as the why have you abandoned me, you should look more closely at the psalm he was quoting, Psalm 22, it ends in the fulfillment of God's word.

I have read most all the posts on this subject but an important aspect of consideration that has been omitted and should be considered. It is the Kenosis(Phil. 2:5-11 Empting ) of The Logos for the purpose and accomplishment that He may dwell in a fallen physical body as all other men and defeat rebellion and sin. This kenosis was a willful plan and function agreed upon with The Father, The Logos whom in His kenosis condition, became The Son and dwelled among men on the earth likened as they, His reputation His Logosness Identity was give into the Hands of the Father, Psalms 22 by the Holy Spirit reveals His relationship as emptied of His reputation to develop Him as Logos kenosis(emptied) to the Obedience of the Father God so as to dwell inside a man's body experiencing the impulses and cravings of the physical bodies life and it's pleasures overcome them by obedience through His divine reputational quintessence that was give to Him by the Father to manifest in and through Him as the Father gave it to Him under The Father's will as they agreed upon before He came to Save mankind. All His relationship and reputation was dispensed to Jesus Logos in the kenosis state as was needed to conquer sin for every man or woman who by their free will's would also; believe, receive and grow in their faith walk with Him to finish His nature imparted and developed in them, I am willing for The Father and Jesus the Savior to: impart, develop, grow Their nature and personality their character and desires their will in me just as Jesus did in His kenosis state as the kenosis logos The God Man whom Now is The Perfect All powerful Agape God Man Savior perfect to make us who are willing to become temples of God's heart and soul dwelling in us.
First of all, your question "Was Jesus was Man or God while he walked the earth?" All the 'wasses' does not make sense and the 'he' in small letters? Who are you referring to?
Your long description/argument/statement does not make sense at all. Please provide it in simple understandable English that everybody can understand. We are not here to impress people with our knowledge of a language or philosophy, but to discuss the Truth in a language that everybody understands. It is also obvious from your discussion that you like babbling as you have written 18 lines which consist of 3 sentences, that is 6 lines per sentence. Not bad for an educated person. Wau.

Thanks Frank and all in God's love back to you

We have minor disagreement, The Holy Ghost is sent to us by and after Christ's ascension to Heaven and he the Holy Ghost tells us all truth, this is the same Holy Ghost that was upon Jesus Christ and is sent to us all that believe, and does not speak of himself, but only what the Father and Son tell him to tell us, and thus the truth sets one free from the traps of this world. Which personally God has done this for me, I the whole time that I was trying to be, all I ever needed to do was to accept God's gift of new life by the resurrection of the Son Jesus Christ, but for years I was stuck at the death and never moved on to the resurrection, and was thus stuck in the traps of this world as many are
So spreading truth as you say
1. Telling truth
2. separating truth from error
Who is the only one that can do this? ourselves or God through us? Does a man take his Lamp and put in under the Lampstand for no one to see? Or does a man put his Lamp on the lampstand for all to see?
Therefore who is the Lamp? And what is the Lampstand?
The Holy Ghost that was and is with me is my coupler to God my savior, for the Holy Ghost takes no credit of himself as Christ said
[h=3]John 16:12-16[/h]King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]12 [/SUP]I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.

Amen.
Well yes and no at the same time, God is Christ and Christ is God yet two different forms, and the Holy Ghost is the speaker of the two here today and for today to teach me truth, you truth and all that believe truth, and bottom line I get id GODJUSTLOVEYOU, me and all the world that he went to the cross for all and died once and for all. The most important part is that Christ is risen and alive with God forever more at God's right hand. and has sent us the comforter which is the same Holy Ghost that was upon him, that he did not start the ministry of the new Covenant that we are in today until after the confirmation of the Holy Ghost that came upon him in the form of a dove and the voice from Heaven God speaking saying this is my Son in whom I (God) am well pleased. John the Baptist saw this and heard this and testified as the witness to this.
John's job over and God's full gospel ministry started after the next 40 days of the devil trying to tempt Christ and Christ stood in truth and did not ponder in it at all as Adam and Eve had.
Now after the death then the resurrected Christ hung around here for forty days explaining all to the disciples, before they were born again, by the mighty power of the Holy Ghost to come upon them at Pentecost. They were willing as many are but as Christ said before he went to the cross the flesh is willing but the Spirit is weak. And so that is what was still truth at this time after the resurrection before the empowerment of the Holy Ghost came.
And they were told don't go and preach until after this power is upon you from him on high. Then what there were 3,000 saved by Who? Peter, no not at all by God who empowered Peter, Peter was no more than a vessel.
So no one comes to the Father except by God's empowerment that God gives you, me and all that believe, and this empowerment from God preaches Christ, the way, the truth and the life, which is only found in the cross, where all the riches of Christ reside. So if one has not come to the resurrected Christ and has not seek the life that is here today for them here and now please in Spirit go to Christ at the cross and die with Christ to self right there right now, and come alive to God through the resurrected Christ, and do this daily
Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
[h=3]Ephesians 1:6-13[/h]King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]6 [/SUP]To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
[SUP]8 [/SUP]Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
[SUP]9 [/SUP]Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
[SUP]10 [/SUP]That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
[SUP]11 [/SUP]In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
[SUP]12 [/SUP]That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

[SUP]13 [/SUP]In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

[h=3]1 Corinthians 15:30-32[/h]King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]30 [/SUP]And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?
[SUP]31 [/SUP]I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
[SUP]32 [/SUP]If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.
