you jumped on my post

yet, nowhere did I mention that I thought YOU were a law keeper or Hebrew Roots

however, something sure made you angry!

you picked apart the op...apparently she is not good enough in your eyes

that, is a sure indication of someone who is adding to salvation

No, you didn't SAY it, but you sure IMPLIED it right after her post:
EVERYONE:

do not let the Hebrew Roots/ lawkeepers judge you

this is a trend that is catching on with people who, for some reason, find gratification in ceremony and hand washing

sound familiar? it should...the Pharisees did the very same thing!

Christians do not pick and choose which commandments to follow...WE FOLLOW ALL OF THEM!!!

it is actually these law keepers that pick and choose which commands to follow...if you are going to follow the law, then you had better follow ALL of it...as per scripture...but they do not do that

there is NO question we follow the commandments...with a JOYFUL heart and liberty in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ

He is our MESSIAH and the Savior of all who call upon His Name...God is MERCIFUL and JUST...unlike lawkeepers who want to judge everyone who does not do what they say

so, decide if you will listen to God or to a person who is trying to take His place
If you're covering for yer buddy, I'd suggest you start by telling the TRUTH. Who knows? You might like it.:)

Knowing that Jesus Prayed for our unity, (John17, etc.) shortly before He Paid for it with His own blood, you might think we would all strive towards that end a bit more fervently, through forgiveness and reconciliation and grace upon grace, rather than what happens sometimes, ... people putting labels on others, and grouping them in neat little 'camps', and ignoring people, and putting them out of the pasture.
Forgiveness would come once confession & repentance take place, but yo'ins believe you don't have to do that. That means no reconciliation with God, or with us. Don't cry about about us when the ball is in your court..... it's up to you.

Don't know who this 'yo'ins' is you're referring to, but since this is only about my third post or so, it's pretty obvious you don't know what you're talking about, but you've already decided to try to put a label on me and put me in one of your anti-christian boxes, proving my point exactly.

You think you can tell me what I do or don't believe? Nice try.

And you think you can judge who has reconciliation with God? Hahaha, that's pretty funny.

"Having made peace through the blood of His cross..."

"...God...has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ..."

First receive salvation, and the removal of the log from your own eye, then sight to help another remove a splinter from their eye.

As far as whoever the 'us' is you refer to in your post, I don't know, but I have no need to confess anything to you, nor repent or seek any reconciliation with you that I am aware of. If we are in a state of being 'unreconciled' , I can only wonder why ... is there something you feel a need or wish to confess or repent of, perhaps? If so, I stand like a brother with an open ear and hand of friendship, and the good news that we have forgiveness in The Lord Jesus Christ. :)

We are "reconciled with God" when we are saved forever. Do you really believe God wants us to live a life of sin, confess, repent and repeat? Coming to know who we really are in Christ (redeemed, made clean, forgiven) is what the gospel is trying to tell us. We are told that we face no condemnation(Rom 8:1) and that we are to have boldness in the day of judgement (1 John 4:17) and that we have not inherited a spirit of fear (2 Tim 1:7). Please consider the words Jesus used the most while He walked the earth...do not be afraid! Have faith in what He did, do not trust your salvation to what you do.

Thank you for speaking up for me. I know what she was implying and so will everyone else - denying it just adds another sin to her life making her a false accuser.

Well... it does kinda look bad after you cut out the important context..... you even cut off the part of the post so that it couldn't be traced back. But that's alright, I found it, and since you want to bring it back up, we will.:)

Now that we have all the context where it belongs, ladylynn do you believe in the teaching of hypostatic union? Please, explain it to me.:)

What I was drawing your attention to Stephen was the verses you posted about "what manner of love the Father has given unto us" and then you add at the bottom what you did that was certainly not in keeping with the manner of love the Father has given unto us.

So I just re posted it again. I asked and still ask you; don't you think this last part is not in keeping with the first part?? I saw a drastic CLASH!! BANG!! BONG!!!!!! CLAAAANNNNGGG!!!!! Your words just didn't fit at all.

My comment had nothing to do with anything about "hypostatic union" since I have no idea what that even means. But I do know what the words "stupid" and "idiotic" mean when someone uses them. When you say things like; "those who believe hypergrace will swallow anything. I see the drastic un balance as it is not kind or loving words. A person doesn't need to understand "hypostatic union" to know your words at the end were not good.

Stephen63., your last paragraph is not in keeping with the verses you posted before that don't you think? Is it necessary to be so mean and use those kind of words when you are posting to other believers?

I just don't get why Stephen has to be soooooooo MMMMMEEEEEAAAAANNNNNNNN!!! What is the purpose of being mean and calling names??? Seriously., you're reading along and WACK! WACK! AND WACK! it comes from no where.

It's like people have to get a quota of meanness in before the day is over or something.

I think he believes that is the Holy Spirit...he once said something to that effect when I asked him the same question

I replied it was a spirit perhaps, but not holy

he did not like that answer

I dunno...seems I hear bitterness, anger and an awful lot of 'how dare you without my permission'

some folks just gotta try to control everything around them...

life is like blowing on a dandelion head gone to seed...oh wait...that's the Holy Spirit...you can feel Him but you don't know where He is going

see, folks wanna control the Holy Spirit

and when they can't? when He keeps leaking out of people and people get filled, healed, problems taken care of, lives changed...it's all too much!

they can't handle it! LOL!

Ok so wikipedia may not be the best definition but its the quickest and since I too did not know what the term meant i looked it up. If stevo is asking do I believe Jesus was fully God and fully human than my answer is yes. That said, stevo you really need to ease up on your language. There is no reason two or more brothers and sisters in Christ can not disagree without calling each other names. It seems you have a kind of "keyboard turrets". That is absolutely not from God. I know because I too battle my temper daily. Pray and ask God to help you, He helps me. Again, calling someone names does not enhance your argument.

Christ has done it all, be thankful your sins are covered if he The Lord has given you his spirit and give ALL the praise, honor and glory to him for What he has done, and will do, past present and future.

That was very well said FlSnookman7.
:) It seems we all kind of go through this possible hit and miss posting when we are deciding to post or not in answer to someone. We can chose to go with the anger we might first feel when someone says something we don't like. Or even if they say something really bad and we might even feel justified in some way. The fingers take to the keyboard and vent. But I don't think we are ever justified as believers to just go on and vent at people.

The truth is we have no right to shoot back the same of what we get. What 'good' does it do to be shooting these bullets of "gotcha" ? Some people's "gotchas" are laced with many amazing and talented words of meanness while others are just plain mean plus rude lacking any attempt to cover rudeness. Both ways show a lack of discipline to control ourselves.

Do we have any right to just vent here on these forums towards other people who come here? I believe venting anger is so selfish. Even the mannerly unsaved don't "lose it" like some Christians. We are supposed to be thinking before speaking.

Also., when I engaged in this sort of thing., I always felt so ashamed. As a Christian I don't like that feeling and actually it now goes against my convictions to allow shame in my life let alone cause it onto myself or others. He expects better things of us because He has given us higher and better things now that we are sons and daughters.

At times we may not even realize we are being presumptuous or even rude (happens to me all the time) But some words just should not even come off of our fingers onto the keyboard and out into cyber space.

Go back to post 44& read foward. It's just one covering another covering another. ladylynn was left holding the bag & couldn't answer my question. She still can't, 'cause she didn't even know what the subject was. So she does what they all do so well..... cut up my post, accused me of bad things, & shifts the subject to something else, & starts mocking. Like this one did:

I don't see anything bad about the op in this thread

who are you talking to? why do you accuse other believers as you do? your judgement does not spring out of the Holy Spirit for if it did, you would have mercy in what you say but you convey only judgement and hatred. do you love the brethren or do you just love looking for what you THINK is wrong with everyone else? you know, love covers a multitude of sins...love does not run around exposing everyone...but hopes the best and prays

I cannot remember when I read an encouraging post from you in any thread

you know, God is perfectly capable, willing and able, to dig out all our roots of hatred and disappointment and desire to hurt others

don't be like the Israelite's in the wilderness and blame everyone around you for how you feel..

Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it flow the springs of life. Proverbs 4:23

Post 44

i keep pointing this out but you don't seem to see it bc your understanding of the person and work of Christ to humanity is external to Christ!
with this paradigm, you will see Christ as an example for us to follow; not knowing that we were in Christ in His death burial quacking, raising, ascending and seating!!

Christ was not enthroned as God when He ascended into heaven. He was enthroned as man! By virtue of His union with humanity, the God Man was enthroned as man! in other words, Man was included in the Godhead by virtue of Christ enthronement! the very reason why we are sited in heavenly places!! There is a man in the Godhead
So we DO NOT follow Christ! We are ONE with Him, in an inseparable union; a union without mixture!!
Did Stephen change his name?

I did not even see Stephen ask a question on that page. Maybe he messed up and he did not mean post 44??

Can you tell us which question she did not answer Stephen?
