not sure what we are starting but I agree about religion. it kills people

sorry, but I am not sure what you are asking?

basically I am saying that we do nothing to earn salvation, nothing to keep it either

and I understand that sets some people's underwear on fire because they take it to mean I am saying keep sinning and no problem, which is nonsense
15 Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant

if its a new covenant , ware did you get your sin from. \o/
what covenant were you born into. before spiritual birth. ie before you first believed what covenant was in place.

if you can sin, how can you be free from the law of sin.

what is the law of sin ?

Romans 8: Life in the Spirit1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.2 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.

if you have a personal belief , when was it our problem who god saves.

for example
we never saved ourselfs, when can we control what other want to believe. thats why you either have bible proof to back what self believes,(and spiritual to believers) if they cannot understand bible proof. with context , when dose this become our problem.have the same bible context helps to see deeper etc

(god has his own context and will save who he wants. to keep it short)

No, since I am still human I'm not sinless....but we are to become holy and perfect ...when we are resurrected from the dead, Rom 1v4.
As I said (and as the bible says) if you commit 1 sin, You fall short. And thus are in need of grace and Gods salvation, because you failed to live up to his standard

we were doing fine until I read 'we are saved for ever. ' do you believe in OSAS ?
Osas is a doctrine.

I believe eternal life is eternal. When God said you will never die, Live forever, Be raised on the last day. I take him at his word. that is where my faith lies.. The cross and promises of God not my performance. My performance is based on my standing with god. not vice versa.

Ok one verse wonder, lets once again put your one verse wonder into proper context and add the truth you do not like to post...

You are so found of reminding us we are all still sinners and quote Romans 3.23 like a champ...but did you ever look at the verses above and below it?

Romans 3.21-26
[SUP]21 [/SUP]But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, [SUP]22 [/SUP]even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction; [SUP]23 [/SUP]for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, [SUP]24 [/SUP]being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; [SUP]25 [/SUP]whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed; [SUP]26 [/SUP]for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

One verse wonders make for great condemnation but are not the full story...

why .............................................. for what jesus saving you.

Why? Because if I had not repented. I still would be focused on self.. I would be the center of the universe, and not Made God the center.

agree, the first act of obedience is to repent and ask God to save you,, receive his salvation. be born again.

repent and ask god to save you.

or ask the saviour to save you first \o/

how did that statement confuse others .

then why did god send his son.

For God So Loved the World
16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of GodJohn 3: You Must Be Born Again

I am not sure what you mean...

Adam sinned because he wanted to be his own God.. That is where all sin comes from. If I do not repent. I will never chose to have faith in someone else. I will only have faith in myself.

are you a baptist . you want to raed this verse
11 So I ask, did they stumble in order that they might fall? By no means! Rather through their trespass salvation has come to the Gentiles, so as to make Israel jealous.12 Now if their trespass means riches for the world, and if their failure means riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their full inclusion mean!Romans 11: The Remnant of Israel

Amen! Well said - Salvation allows us to rest in Christ!

And then because we rest in Him - we are able to go out and fight!

go out and fight who.

salvation is singular, the aim is to tell with voice or written word.

42 And he commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one appointed by God to be judge of the living and the dead.43 To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name."

or tell with a voice the salvation message. etc

I was saved, believed in Jesus, so young I have grown into it

maybe I have a different outlook, I don't know, but I don't make it complicated as far as salvation goes

you would not want to read all I could say God has done for me, brought me along and kept me

I don't divide the Bible up. you need all of it to understand even small parts
