What does it mean to you to be Saved?

To be 'saved' means that we need to be saved from 'something'.

That 'something' is the judgment and wrath of The Triune Creator God of the Holy Bible.

That is why we take Jesus as our God and our Savior, as He literally saves us from Himself.

If you worship the Triune Name of God, as He has revealed Himself in scripture, then you are considered Righteous, and you are saved.

The Righteous (Saved) are not judged.

The un-righteous (unsaved) face judgment.

To be saved mean having been born of the Spirit; so that we may be Justified by grace, and made an heir of eternal Life (Titus 3.4-7).

Everyone faces judgment. God is no respecter of persons wherefore no-one ought be deceived in thinking they will escape the judgement of God.

2Co 5:9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
2Co 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Rom 2:3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
Rom 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
Rom 2:5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
Rom 2:6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
Rom 2:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
Rom 2:8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
Rom 2:9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
Rom 2:10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
Rom 2:11 For there is no respect of persons with God.

Which is why we ought to be diligent that we be found in Jesus Christ in peace, without spot, and blameless.

2Pe 3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
2Pe 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
2Pe 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
2Pe 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

The Scripture is very clear on this.

We are saved from both the power of sin and the condemnation of sin through the transformation wrought in our hearts via the power of God when we enter into the New Covenant through repentance and faith.

In other words we are set free from the service of sin as well as given pardon for our past misconduct.

The vast majority of professing Christianity contends for a false gospel where they view salvation as mere forgiveness whilst they continue to be workers of iniquity. It is a strong delusion which is destroying the souls of a multitude.

Jesus says otherwise:

Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.

No.

Observe...

John 5.24 -29

Truly, truly, I say to you, The one who hears My Word, and believes the One who has sent Me, has everlasting life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life. Truly, truly, I say to you that an hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and the ones hearing will live. For even as the Father has life in Himself, so He gave also to the Son to have life in Himself. And He also gave authority to Him to execute judgment, for He is the Son of Man.Do not marvel at this, for an hour is coming in which all those in the tombswill hear His voice. And they will come out, the ones having practiced good into a resurrection of life; the ones having done evil into a resurrection of judgment.

John 3.18

The one believing into Him is not Judged; but the one not believing has already been judged, for he has not believed into the name of the only begotten Son of God.

2Co 5:9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
2Co 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
2 Cor 5.10 mentions absolutely nothing about the Righteous standing before the judgment seat and being judged.

It actually fits with the rest of scripture which mandates that ONLY the unrighteous are standing before God, being judged.

Rom 2:5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
Rom 2:6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
Rom 2:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
Rom 2:8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
Rom 2:9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
Rom 2:10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
Rom 2:11 For there is no respect of persons with God.

Yet again...no mention of any judgment whatsoever for the Righteous...

2Pe 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

The Scripture is very clear on this.

The Scripture is very clear on this too:

'All that the Father gives to Me will come to Me, and him who comes to Me I will in no wise cast out. For I am come down from Heaven not to do my own will, but the will of Him Who sent
Me. And this is the will of Him Who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the Last Day,' (John 6.37-39)

But you do not believe (My Father's works) because you are not of My sheep. My sheep hear My voice and I know them, and they follow Me, and I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish, and none shall pluck them from My hand. My Father who gave them to Me is greater than all, and no one IS ABLE to pluck them out of the Father's hand. I and my Father are one (John 10.27-30).

All have sinned and come short of the glory of God, being accounted as righteous by His grace FREELY through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus, Whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith by His blood (Rom 3,23-25).

'Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you, so that you come behind in no gift, waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will also confirm you unto the end, that you might be unreproveable in the Day of our Lord Jesus Christ.' (1 Corinth 1.6-8). (and this the corinthian church!)

'By grace you are saved, through faith, and that (gracious act) not of yourselves, it is the gift of God and not of doings, lest any man should boast, for we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them' (Eph 2.8-10).

'Being confident of this very thing, that he which has begun a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ' (Phil 2.6).

'Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our doings, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, but now has been manifested by the appearing of our Saviour, Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel (2 Tim 1.9).

I am not ashamed, for I know Him Whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed to Him against that Day (2 Tim 1.12).

But when the kindness of God our Saviour, and His love towards man appeared, not by works done in righteousness which we did ourselves, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, which He poured out upon us richly through Christ Jesus our Saviour, that being justified by His grace we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (Titus 3.4-7).

Wherein God, being minded to show more abundantly unto the heirs of promise the immutability of His Counsel, interposed with an oath, that by two immutable things in which it is impossible for God to lie we may have a strong encouragement who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us, which we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and entering into that within the veil, whither as a forerunner Jesus entered for us, having become a High Priest for ever after the order of Melchisedek (Heb 7.7-20).

Wherefore He is able to save to the uttermost them that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever lives to make intercession for them (Heb 7.25).

He has perfected for ever those who are being sanctified (Heb 10.14)

His is a FINISHED work, I prefer to trust Him rather than you

It means that no matter what anyone or anything tries to tell me, I know the Lord Jesus Christ will never leave me nor forsake me but always draw me to Himself.

Faith to the uttermost. Not in my ability. But in His Power.

Everyone will face judgment of some kind. Those who are saved will not face the judgment for sins at the Great White Throne Judgment, however, all believers will face a different kind of judgment at the JSOC where we will give an account of things we have done in our body, whether it be good or bad, and receive rewards or suffer loss accordingly. There is always accountability.

Skinski7,

The judgment seat in 2 Corinthians 5:10 is bema seat of Christ where we receive our rewards or our works are burned up (1 Corinthians 3:15) and yet we are saved. The bema seat of Christ is not the white throne judgment of Revelation 20:11-15 where unsaved people are told to go to hell so to speak and most likely why.

Romans 8:1 ¶ There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Now that we got that out of the way, I'm going to say, "Ha ha" and what do you have left to threaten me with?

I really think you need to use a dictionary because the word "judgment" used in the King James Bible doesn't always mean "condemn" or "condemnation".

For you and the others to teach stuff that is incorrect means that you need to take a time out because you are going to get the greater condemnation:

James 3:1 ¶ My brethren, be not many masters (teaches), knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation (judgment).

Yep, and the word condemnation is not always referring to eternal condemnation. Sometimes there's temporal condemnation.

It's so few easy steps.KJV.Romans10;9-10.9.That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heat that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.10.For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.; It's not the one-time action. But this became your's everyday life. What that's mean for you? You follow Him in His way, and you became His Child.

What does it mean in the Scriptures to be Saved?
Reconciled, from God's perspective.

What does it mean to you to be Saved?
Reconciled, from eternal existence to life eternal.

[SUP]10 [/SUP]For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
