Will you please not post music on thie thread, it is supposed to be a serious conversation about what true love is according to the Creator.
I really can't understand why playing music on this thread would upset you. People express their feelings in different ways...Why would it bother anyone if someone played a song to express what they feel about God's love? King David wrote the book of Psalms and played music to express his thoughts on it.

The really ironic thing that I see here is that people were talking about love being patience and kind and then wasn't even patient enough to just scroll through a song if they didn't want to listen to it. It really saddens me to see this kind of stuff.

Psalm 145:8, "יהוה shows favor and is compassionate, Patient and great in loving-commitment."

Who can love like Yah? Who is perfect like Yah? For no matter how much we error He is there for us, slow to anger and having great mercy... May we seek Him with all our hearts.

Exodus 34:5-7, "Then YHWH descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the Name of YHWH. YHWH passed in front of him, and proclaimed: YHWH, YHWH Almighty, merciful and compassionate, longsuffering, and abounding in righteousness and truth. Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity, and transgression, and sin; but by no means leaving unpunished those who are guilty; Who visits the sin of the fathers upon the children and the children's children, to the third and fourth generation."

He is perfect in love and judgment, truly the only standard of Righteousness!

John 3:16New International Version - UK (NIVUK)

Romans 5:8New International Version - UK (NIVUK)

8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

I wasnt upset, and there is noting wrong with music, Im sorry if I offended that person or anyone else, while I did not listen to it the type of music matters in praise of the Most High. I did not want a distraction or anything posted that was counter to the things of Yah so I believe it better to simply ask that it not be posted. Again I dont know what was posted because I did not listen, but I have had people put links to music that in not fit for praising Yah nor for this site. JMO, I apologize if I offended any.

OK so I listened to it, it is a guitar solo, has noting to do with Yah, His love, nor His praise. While it may not be offensive it in no way builds up His truth, love, knowledge, just distraction. Still I apologize to any offended.

Mat 22:37-40, "Yahshua said to him: You must love YHWH your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."
Jeremiah 29:11-14, “For I know the plans I am planning for you,’ declares יהוה, ‘plans of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and an expectancy. Then you shall call on Me, and shall come and pray to Me, and I shall listen to you. And you shall seek Me, and shall find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. And I shall be found by you,’ declares יהוה, ’and I shall turn back your captivity, and shall gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, declares יהוה. And I shall bring you back to the place from which I have exiled you.”

I really don't know what the issue is so I hope you will explain it to me...I have been in a relationship with him for over a year now and we are always talking about God and the Bible. I know him well and he does have a good heart and loves others and God, so I don't know if this is just all a misunderstanding or what?

1 Corinthians 13:4-9, “Love is patient, is kind, love does not envy, love does not boast, is not puffed up, does not behave indecently, does not seek its own, is not provoked, reckons not the evil, does not rejoice over the unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth, it covers all, believes all, expects all, endures all. Love never fails. And whether there be prophecies, they shall be inactive; or tongues, they shall cease; or knowledge, it shall be inactive. For we know in part and we prophesy in part.”

Correct- to love Him is to obey Him, and “If you solve all mysteries of the Bible, and surrender your body to flames (become a martyr for God), but have not love (obedience to God), you gain nothing.”- no salvation, no heaven, no God for all eternity.

But you know Him, for He stays with you and shall be in you. I shall not leave you orphans – I am coming to you. Yet a little while, and the world no longer sees Me, but you shall see Me, because I live, and you shall live. In that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. "True" love really can only come from G-d in that moment when I am walking with Him. To love my neighbor as myself it's really the barometer as to where I am at with my relationship with Messiah. What do I mean by that? At the shopping center by my house there is a grocery store. Everyday there is some homeless person asking for money. Somedays I will go buy them food at the grocery store, some days I just say no. (I do not give money). But they are my barometer. See I cannot ever love G-d more than myself if I can not love His creation as much as myself. Every human is created in the image of G-d,; if I look down or the look the other way to a human I place myself above G-d because He NEVER TURNS A BIDS EYE!
