The last thread that MAY be holding back God's judgement against USA is it's at least tacit support for Israel. Of course with this wicked administration, THAT is disintegrating, and it won't be too much longer that even the lip service of support for Israel will disappear. Then all bets are off on our judgement.
That's true according to scripture.

Genesis 12:1-3
1 Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: [SUP]
2 [/SUP]And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
[SUP]3 [/SUP]And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Numbers 24:5-9
[SUP]5 [/SUP]How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, and thy tabernacles, O Israel!
[SUP]6 [/SUP]As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river's side, as the trees of lign aloes which the Lord hath planted, and as cedar trees beside the waters.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters, and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him up? Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee.

Why are people defending Gay marriage! It says in the BIBLE its wrong! THE BIBLE a Christians ultimate authority. The word of God! If you don't follow it your not christian! Its fine to love gay people because its our job to love everyone. Just because you love someone doesn't mean you should agree with them.
Leviticus 19:17-18
[SUP]17 [/SUP]Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.

We must be mindful of not loving a gay person into hell. Nevertheless, I agree with what you wrote. I would make it clear to a homo that if they refuse to repent from their practice, that they will suffer eternal torment for refusing to let it go, and to start working for that goal by their sincere prayer in order to overcome.

As Christians we are living by a different set of "rules" if you will than those who are non-Christians. Jesus never forced anyone to live by his standards...in fact God does not want those that worship him as robots, but in spirit and in truth. While I do not agree with same sex marriage, just as Christ could not force someone to accept him, we cannot force others to accept our viewpoint. If someone wants to marry the same sex who are we as Christians to point our fingers at them and say YOU CANNOT DO THIS, especially if they are living by a different set of "rules". We live for Christ, they live for themselves we cannot force them to live for Christ the same way they cannot force us to live against Christ, and to be honest no one is forcing any of us to marry one of the same sex. Jesus gave us a choice we can choose to accept him or we can turn it down. If someone wants to choose to live in sin...who am I to demand that they don't? who am I to say I forbid you to turn down Jesus...that's not love...Jesus never forced anyone to accept him...I'll let God be the judge as I know he does a much better job than any Christian out there at it myself included. Someone wants to turn down Christ's offer of salvation, while it pains me to see it, they are in their right to say no. Let's focus on those who want to know Jesus who want to say Yes to his proposal of Salvation. Let's focus on the hungry the "poor" the "widows" and the "orphans".
As long as they do not call themselves Christians, then you may have a point.

However once they want to identify themselves with Christianity then we are obligated to teach them to obey everything HE has commanded, including confessing and repenting of sexual sins.

Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)
[SUP]19 [/SUP] Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
[SUP]20 [/SUP] and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Revelation 2:16 (NRSV)
[SUP]16 [/SUP] Repent then. If not, I will come to you soon and make war against them with the sword of my mouth.

Revelation 2:20-23 (NRSV)
[SUP]20 [/SUP] But I have this against you: you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet and is teaching and beguiling my servants to practice fornication and to eat food sacrificed to idols.
[SUP]21 [/SUP] I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her fornication.
[SUP]22 [/SUP] Beware, I am throwing her on a bed, and those who commit adultery with her I am throwing into great distress, unless they repent of her doings;
[SUP]23 [/SUP] and I will strike her children dead. And all the churches will know that I am the one who searches minds and hearts, and I will give to each of you as your works deserve.
Exo 12:49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

Rom 2:11 For there is no respect of persons with God.
Rom 2:12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
Rom 2:13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
Rom 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
Rom 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

God has the same Law for all. If you commit adultery, whether you are a Gentile or Israelite, converted or unconverted, Christian or atheist, that Law will exact the penalty on you.

The purpose of the religion clause in the first amendment is to prevent
what's going on in the Mideast. There are certain Muslims who want to make
Islam's religious beliefs and practices the law of the land to the exclusion of
all other religious beliefs and practices.

There are Christians in America who want to do the very same thing here. It
just kills them that the government won't pass laws that favor Christianity's
beliefs and practices; the meanwhile mouthing their allegiance to the US
Constitution that prevents the government from favoring any particular
religion's beliefs and practices; viz: they're little more than a Christian
version of ISIS; the only real difference is: they're not blowing people up
and/or lopping their heads off; not yet anyway.

Only thing is, America is not God's covenant people, but Christians are.
In the Bible it says God Blessed the people who will end up speaking English and they will be great.

For thou art not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language,
but to the house of Israel;

Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee .

Our Pastor spoke on this issue this morning. He made a very good point:

We find ourselves in the very same position as Joshua.

Joshua 24:15 (NKJV)
[SUP]15 [/SUP] And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day
whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the
other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell.
But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."

Romans 1:18-32 (NRSV)
[SUP]18 [/SUP] For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and wickedness of those who by their wickedness suppress the truth.
[SUP]19 [/SUP] For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them.
[SUP]20 [/SUP] Ever since the creation of the world his eternal power and divine nature, invisible though they are, have been understood and seen through the things he has made. So they are without excuse;
[SUP]21 [/SUP] for though they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their senseless minds were darkened.
[SUP]22 [/SUP] Claiming to be wise, they became fools;
[SUP]23 [/SUP] and they exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling a mortal human being or birds or four-footed animals or reptiles.
[SUP]24 [/SUP] Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the degrading of their bodies among themselves,
[SUP]25 [/SUP] because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.
[SUP]26 [/SUP] For this reason God gave them up to degrading passions. Their women exchanged natural intercourse for unnatural,
[SUP]27 [/SUP] and in the same way also the men, giving up natural intercourse with women, were consumed with passion for one another. Men committed shameless acts with men and received in their own persons the due penalty for their error.
[SUP]28 [/SUP] And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind and to things that should not be done.
[SUP]29 [/SUP] They were filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, covetousness, malice. Full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, craftiness, they are gossips,
[SUP]30 [/SUP] slanderers, God-haters, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, rebellious toward parents,
[SUP]31 [/SUP] foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless.
[SUP]32 [/SUP] They know God's decree, that those who practice such things deserve to die—yet they not only do them but even applaud others who practice them.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 (NIV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.
[SUP]2 [/SUP] People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
[SUP]3 [/SUP] without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good,
[SUP]4 [/SUP] treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God--
[SUP]5 [/SUP] having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.

2 Thessalonians 3:12-15 (ESV)
[SUP]12 [/SUP] Now such persons we command and encourage in the Lord Jesus Christ to do their work quietly and to earn their own living.
[SUP]13 [/SUP] As for you, brothers, do not grow weary in doing good.
[SUP]14 [/SUP] If anyone does not obey what we say in this letter, take note of that person, and have nothing to do with him, that he may be ashamed.
[SUP]15 [/SUP] Do not regard him as an enemy, but warn him as a brother.

Ephesians 5:7-12 (NIV)
[SUP]7 [/SUP] Therefore do not be partners with them.
[SUP]8 [/SUP] For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light
[SUP]9 [/SUP] (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth)
[SUP]10 [/SUP] and find out what pleases the Lord.
[SUP]11 [/SUP] Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.
[SUP]12 [/SUP] For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.

Excellent Mac!

Gen 49:22 Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall:
Gen 49:23 The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him:
Gen 49:24 But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)
Gen 49:25 Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:
Gen 49:26 The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.

You are exactly correct and without repentance and forgiveness, we will die just like the mass murderer. This is where grace comes in. Grace and Law go hand in hand. When one breaks the Law, he has sinned...

1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

The remedy is to repent and ask forgiveness...

1Jn 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1Jn 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
1Jn 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
1Jn 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

And through the sacrifice of Christ grace is applied and we are forgiven and cleansed...

Heb 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
Heb 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

The debt we have earned...

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

is paid for by the sacrifice of Christ...

Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

We are then reconciled to the Father...

Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

And will be saved (given eternal life) at the resurrection...

1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I certainly am ready to FLY AWAY!

[video=youtube;PNaf8WjAB44]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNaf8WjAB44[/video]

Just how BIBLICAL is I'll Fly Away?

VERY BIBLICAL!

Psalm 90:10 (HCSB)
[SUP]10 [/SUP] Our lives last seventy years or, if we are strong, eighty years.
Even the best of them are struggle and sorrow; indeed,
they pass quickly and we fly away.

So much for the DUMB THEORY that we sleep in the grave until the Second Coming.

..... I wonder when these people will start to make the connection with a nation that is supposed to be governed by the people such as the U.S.......
A February–March 2015 Wall Street Journal poll found that 59% of Americans favor same-sex marriage.

A January–February 2015 Human Rights Campaign poll found that 60% of Americans favor same-sex marriage while 37% oppose.

A February 12–15, 2015 CNN/ORC poll found that 63% of Americans believe same-sex marriage is a constitutional right .....

...a small minority FORCED IT'S WILL ON THE MAJORITY.
REALLY ?!

The vote was 5-4. That's not the Supreme Court; that's barely even half the Court.
And the 4 who voted against should be ousted - somehow !

Their task is to interpret the LAW.
The Law does not discriminate. It favours equality.

It matters not even if those four judges were personally hard-core, bible-believing fundie-christians. They should still have voted in support of the Law as it stands.
Justice, equality, anti-discrimination.
The views of some (not all) Christians in this context are totally irrelevant.

"Far fewer conservatives (30%) support same-sex marriage."

A new, great, leader will try to conquer the world and a poison asp
will be curled beneath his feet -
the streets of Babylon and Egypt shall be his domain and nothing
will remain the same.

The Lion of Judah is the only One who can tame this ten-horned beast.

40And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces
and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.

44
And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom,
which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people,
but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

45Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands,
and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold;
the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter:
and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

47The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods,
and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret.
