Leviticus 19:17-18
[SUP]17 [/SUP]Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.
We must be mindful of not loving a gay person into hell. Nevertheless, I agree with what you wrote. I would make it clear to a homo that if they refuse to repent from their practice, that they will suffer eternal torment for refusing to let it go, and to start working for that goal by their sincere prayer in order to overcome.
Romans 1:18-32 (NRSV)
[SUP]
18 [/SUP] For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and wickedness of those who by their wickedness suppress the truth.
[SUP]
19 [/SUP] For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them.
[SUP]
20 [/SUP] Ever since the creation of the world his eternal power and divine nature, invisible though they are, have been understood and seen through the things he has made. So they are without excuse;
[SUP]
21 [/SUP] for though they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their senseless minds were darkened.
[SUP]
22 [/SUP] Claiming to be wise, they became fools;
[SUP]
23 [/SUP] and they exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling a mortal human being or birds or four-footed animals or reptiles.
[SUP]
24 [/SUP] Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the degrading of their bodies among themselves,
[SUP]
25 [/SUP] because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.
[SUP]
26 [/SUP] For this reason God gave them up to degrading passions. Their women exchanged natural intercourse for unnatural,
[SUP]
27 [/SUP] and in the same way also the men, giving up natural intercourse with women, were consumed with passion for one another. Men committed shameless acts with men and received in their own persons the due penalty for their error.
[SUP]
28 [/SUP] And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind and to things that should not be done.
[SUP]
29 [/SUP] They were filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, covetousness, malice. Full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, craftiness, they are gossips,
[SUP]
30 [/SUP] slanderers, God-haters, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, rebellious toward parents,
[SUP]
31 [/SUP] foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless.
[SUP]
32 [/SUP] They know God's decree, that those who practice such things deserve to die—yet
they not only do them but even applaud others who practice them.
2 Timothy 3:1-5 (NIV)
[SUP]
1 [/SUP] But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.
[SUP]
2 [/SUP] People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
[SUP]
3 [/SUP] without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good,
[SUP]
4 [/SUP] treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God--
[SUP]
5 [/SUP] having a form of godliness but denying its power.
Have nothing to do with them.
2 Thessalonians 3:12-15 (ESV)
[SUP]
12 [/SUP] Now such persons we command and encourage in the Lord Jesus Christ to do their work quietly and to earn their own living.
[SUP]
13 [/SUP] As for you, brothers, do not grow weary in doing good.
[SUP]
14 [/SUP] If anyone does not obey what we say in this letter, take note of that person, and
have nothing to do with him, that he may be ashamed.
[SUP]
15 [/SUP] Do not regard him as an enemy, but warn him as a brother.
Ephesians 5:7-12 (NIV)
[SUP]
7 [/SUP] Therefore do not be partners with them.
[SUP]
8 [/SUP] For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light
[SUP]
9 [/SUP] (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth)
[SUP]
10 [/SUP] and find out what pleases the Lord.
[SUP]
11 [/SUP]
Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.
[SUP]
12 [/SUP] For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.
