And Peter, who was saved and filled with the holy spirit, called bondage to the law of Moses an unbearable burden. This, of course, is just another scripture that stiff-necked people ignore so they can cling to their cherished falsehoods.

So now why are you putting God to the test by placing on the neck of the disciples a yoke [that binds them to the law of Moses] that neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear? But we believe we will be saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus in the same way those also are.” Acts 15:10-11
context brother, context. And with due respect, what is it to you should I wish to rest on the 7th day? I have no quarrel with you.

I think that when Jesus said the yoke was easy, it can be shown with keeping the Sabbath. If we keep the Sabbath using the laws of walk this far, no farther, don't light a match, etc., it is hard. If we keep the spirit of giving up doing for ourselves that day, just depending on God as the spirit teaches, we might end up having cooked our meal on the work days so we would be free on Sabbath, but it would be easy for we would do it in spirit.
Keeping laws are easy when you can make them mean what you want. GOD is not mocked.

Hey thanks! Exactly my point. Changing Sabbath day to Sunday makes it convenient, because most churches do it, it is acceptable, governments have made laws saying business must cease, stores can't open on Sunday in lots of towns across America. (small ones, that is) while Saturday is open for business. So you are right, keeping laws are easy when you can make them mean what you want, instead of what God said.

If you're questioning your faith, Revelation is a terrifying book. As it stands, Revelation is one of the most interesting and most misunderstood books of the Bible.

OR keep sabbath in a way that's not scriptural to suit your convenience.

No burdens. No work, no money.

I hope I always question my faith, and compare it to the light of the Word, and not the world. My faith is growing by the heartbeat! God is strong and I am weak.

A lot of the reason people are scared of it is because it is simply misunderstood. I just literally took a course on that book here at school so it isn't as scary as it was at first. It's very similar to Daniel and Ezekiel. Imagine it as a sci-fi/fantasy movie...that does help

I say there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
