That everyone seems to skip?

First of all, I'm an atheist. I was Christian but as I grew up, I realized that I don't believe in God. It doesn't make sense to me.
Anyway, even though I'm not a believer, I find religions very interesting. One of my 2018 goals is to read the bible, the whole thing. So yesterday I started and already on the first pages I found something very questionable in Genesis. The woman was created for the man? And the man dominates the woman? What?
I won't even start with Leviticus.

I also wonder why so many Christians never read the bible. How can you believe in something when you haven't even read your holy book?
So please tell me, how can you believe in something that has so many questionable things?

All truth as a law not subject to change is God's truth. This is whether they are the physical laws of nature which God corrupted or the spiritual laws that heal. Truth does not become true when we believe it to be.

Only God in that way can create from nothing and call something good. If we do His will we known his Spirit witnesses to our new spirit we are his children .If we refuse to do it he hides himself. If any man has not the Spirit of Christ then neither does he know him.

Seventy time the phrase if any man appears in the new testament . The focus is on the if.

Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

1Co 8:3 But if any man love God, the same is known of him.

John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

I'm 35 and have come to realize theres very little in substance the world can offer me . Nothing compares to the peace of mind, and purpose one gets from being part of the body of Christ . Jesus also puts together broken lives. Lives even their own family abandon . Christ can repair . I having my personal trials and tribulations through the years, and meditating on my life, gives me a appreciation for Christ's life He gave for us .

Without the struggles and development of the OT, with God leading the nations of Israel through whom Christ would eventually arrive and would teach Him to the other nations of the world ; there would be no hope today of Salvation from this world of darkness ..

As you get older, if you're not too closed off from what is actually happening in the world. Where people just spoon feed you the same stuff everyday : If you are aware of that people are suffering ; at the same time understanding what God is offering to people, one can learn and see what God is trying to accomplish here. the Bible makes perfect sense .

The world only offers confusion and is set up at this point to keep people in the dark .

Thats going on a lot in all nations today . many people losing touch with the God that created them.

The lessons and Truth in the pages of the bible is profound. If you don't care for the material, the material has a way of hiding its secrets from you. There is a real history the world hides from people, The reality found in the pages of the Bible is something the world is conditioned to ignore to keep people under control .. But GODS words the Truth, sets people free from that control.

You can talk to God, and He can hear you. If you arrive at a point in your life, where you have questions, where the world does not make sense. Call out to your God for the Truth . He will help you .

What is questionable about discipline? Woman sinned first, and as punishment man will lead. Personally I think his punishment is worse- hard labor daily instead of hard labor only during child birth? And with leadership comes a load of responsibility. And man is also under the authority of God- so he has someone over his head too.

There are many subjects in the Bible, and God purposely didn’t make them simple because He wants us to search for truth like a valuable pearl. He gave us work to do because He put us here for a purpose- otherwise we would be like robots- without freewill and information just inserted into us.

We all have the freewill to choose whether or not to believe in God. But if we do not, we will be without excuse. For we will be judged by the Bible- which says that His invisable qualities are clearly seen so that man is without excuse. God is real, and He did create us for a purpose- to please Him. Those who choose evil over His righteousness will be discarded for not fulfilling their purpose. Haven’t you ever got something that was a dud? What do you do? You throw it away, thinking “Well that one’s no good.”

God will throw away the ‘weeds’ and take the good (faithful) wheat into His barn (heaven). If you don’t believe in God now, you will when that time comes.

Perhaps Carla was a little overwhelmed. Regardless if her beliefs were altered, we sure did reaffirm eachother. High fives all around!

Woman sinned first, and as punishment man will lead.
Neither of these statements is biblically sound.

According to 1 Timothy 2:14, the woman was deceived. The Bible attributes sin to Adam, not to Eve.
Genesis 3 says nothing about men (generally) leading women (generally) as a punishment; it says the husband will rule over the wife.
