Why do Catholics break the Commandment about Idols?

Do you believe that you have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit? Do you still sin? If you still sin then there is no way God will dwell in a house that is of the devil. One who sins is of the devil.
Do you keep all of God’s Word, if you do not then you are sinning and God does not come to make a home in a sinner, one who does not keep God’s Word?
(1 John 3:9-10) “No one who is a child of God sins because God's seed remains in him. Nor can he sin, because he is a child of God. This is what distinguishes the children of God from the children of the devil: whoever does not live uprightly and does not love his brother is not from God” New Jerusalem bible
Notice what distinguishes a Child of God from a Child of the devil. Do you truly believe a child of the devil will go to heaven with Jesus?
(John 14: 23) “Anyone who loves me will keep my word and my Father will love him, and we shall come to him and make a home in him.”
Notice Jesus told us what sort of house he will make a home in.
(John 14:21) “Anybody who receives my commandments and keeps them will be one who loves me; and anybody who loves me will be loved by My Father, and I shall love him and show myself to him.”
Have you seen Jesus Christ our Lord and God? I have actually seen Jesus Christ our Lord and God.

Jesus was talking about the Old Law Ten Commandments. Jesus Christ gave us many more words that one has to keep that are not in his summary of the Ten Commandments.
The following are just some of the words Jesus spoke that you will be judged by if you don’t keep them.
John 12:47-48) “If anyone hears my words and does not keep them faithfully, it is not I who shall condemn him, since I have come not to condemn the world, but to save the world: he who rejects me and refuses my words has his judge already: the word itself that I have spoken will be his judge on the last day.” Jerusalem Bible
(1 John 3:9-10) “No one who has been begotten by God sins; because God’s seed remains inside him, he cannot sin when he has been begotten by God. In this way we distinguish the children of God from the children of the devil: anybody not living a holy life and not loving his brother is no child of God’s”
(Luke 12:33) “Sell your possessions and give alms. Get yourselves purses that do not wear out, treasure that will not fail you, in Heaven where no thief can reach it and no moth destroy it. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”
(Matthew 6:19) “Do not store up treasures for yourselves on earth, where moths and woodworms destroy them and thieves can break in and steal.”
(Luke 14:33) “So in the same way, none of you can be my disciple unless he gives up all his possessions.”
(Matthew 5:39) “You have learnt how it was said: ‘Eye for eye and tooth for tooth.’ But I say this to you: offer the wicked man no resistance.”
(Matthew 5:48) “Even the pagans do as much, do they not? You must therefore be perfect just as your heavenly Father is perfect.”

Yes people who want to believe everyone sins, and quote that part of John’s letter to prove their belief and do so without feeling totally dishonest, I sure don’t understand.

They want people to believe John was telling those Children of God who can’t sin, that they can’t tell anyone, and if they do they will be lairs.
It takes a person who is very concerned about feeling themselves righteous even though they still sin, to believe that John was saying they were liars if they shared that they no longer sinned?
I don’t believe people, when they quote 1 John 1:8-10 they expect any intelligent person to use that as to believe everyone still sins.
Also the way they are reading John’s Word, it only say if one tells someone they no longer sin they are lying. So they don’t know what John is truly saying at all.
You should know that the scripture you are quoting says: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness”
If one is forgiven of all unrighteousness are they not then sinless?
Could they then be liars if they say they are sinless?
By the way a Spiritual Christian only needs to confess his or her sins once. The Holy Spirit keeps a Christian free from sin.

God has done what the Law, because of our unspiritual nature, was unable to do. 'He who is begotten of God practises no sin, because His seed abides in him, and he cannot practise sin because he is born of God,' (1 John 3.9)
If we say that we have not sinned we make God a liar. My little children, these things have I written unto you that you might not practise sin. And if any man sin we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous, and He is the propitiation for our sins (1 John 1.10- 2.1)

lol I wasnt brainwashed to say things against Catholics. I still to this day go to the catholic priest to talk or even for a blessing (yes I know that I just opened a can of worms with that). Its just simply a fact that they get taught a lot of heresies such as the Idolatry, Doing rituals through the dead etc. that God despises. Doesnt mean there arent exceptions here and there but most of them are brainwashed. I went into a catholic church a few sundays ago to check it out for myself and it was horrid. They are brainwashes. The priest says a few words and they finish it and go on and on reciting about the ''holy Roman catholic church'' and the ''holy dead saints to hear them as they speak'' and more.. It was so much I cant remember
