Awwww!!! Look at this doggie insisting on shaking hands (paws) with kitty and making peace. ♥ :D

That's debatable. Seems to me the cat is training the dog to shake paws. :p

The cat attacked eventually, right? (I see it's ears and remember how often I grabbed my cat and laughed at dog owners when they said their dog wouldn't hurt my cat. I was never worried about THAT. My cat would attack their dog. And win. lol)

It was a great post. This is the kind of thing that lends instant credibility to a new person on here. Thoughtful, articulate, to the point and non accusatory. An invitation towards friendship.
And maybe even an invitation for some fresh lamb chops.

Do you think a person's avatar has an effect on how they are perceived?
I don't look at avatars immediately. I do remember thinking you were a little nuts. You're avatar confirmed it. I wasn't wrong, but you're much more than that... all in good ways.

Am I a teddy bear? Sure. But one with teeth.

For understanding, clarity, and edification of Christ's Church.

thank you for the welcome peace to you you all. As you see from my very first post it had to be told to me for a reason, yup I was a butcher once an this is how the Lord corrected me. So with 2 ears and one mouth I learned to listen twice as much as I speak ( hate the taste of crow). How are you all doing?
I'm pulling crow feathers out of my mouth -- same as always.

(You learned patience? Show off. lol)

There's an attitude of "If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong" :)

I wanna know where Greggy went. :)
Ah, man! I liked your old avatar. It really made me think! Granted, most of what I thought was, "What in the world is that," but I thought. lol

I just find it ironic that most arguments and fights are over the gospel of peace. Hmmm

Why is it that these posts telling us to behave are from someone who has been a member for 3 days? Like the OP.

And basically hit and runs?

I have to think it is a banned member, coming back as a troll, to cause dissent.

I do think the discussions have been helpful in my growth as a Christian. I am much more loving and caring, and I have learned how to walk away from a fight, generally by putting the person on ignore.

I have also learned how to apologize publicly and privately for when I do lose it. Being taken down a few notches is always a good thing!

Conflict is good. It's one of the ways that we can use for growth in our personal holiness.
