Last week's troll trying to tell us he was all things in Christ but none of us were.

He also really had a thing against anyone older than he was. Of course, his age said "25," but then he said he had a 21 y.o. and 19 y.o., so he was making it up to suit himself then too.

Seem familiar?

(This is the first time I've called anyone on being a troll. Troll hunting isn't my style, but, boy! This all seems so familiar. De ja vu from just last week!) Check out the Welcome to CC forum to "meet" Stevie.
Oh, that guy.

Muscle Shoals! There is a great documentary about that place and how it shaped Aretha and exploded her career.
I think I've seen it, but a long time ago, so should see it again. I love soul. (And the blues.)

Hello I am new here, just wanted to share a story that was told to me....
A young lad wanted to raise sheep for a living so he gathered all the information he could on the subject. After all the reading he done he decided the best way to learn this trait was to observe.
He went to a place where he knew shepherds brought their flocks and started to observe.
Finally one man leading a flock of sheep appeared on the grassy knoll, he noticed the man yelling and cursing at the sheep using his rod and staff to hurt and hit them into obeying his lead.
This went on for quite sometime until the young lad had enough and approached him.
The young lad told the man of his intent to raise sheep, that the books he had read were quite the opposite on what the man was displaying. With this the man replied, " oh no you want to observe the shepherds that are over the next hill. You see the man said " I am the butcher.

what makes me feel and cherish is the glimpse of the heart that our Father gives us,
what is more precious that one that is struggling and lost and afraid as we once were -
what Love we were given in our most awful times....

But it a wolf is knocking at the door, a certain level of defense is not only wise but prudent.

To deny the Deity of Christ is to deny a basic tenet of Christianity.

It was a great post. This is the kind of thing that lends instant credibility to a new person on here. Thoughtful, articulate, to the point and non accusatory. An invitation towards friendship.

the problem IMO is that we can't read the body language and the tone in the voice like in the chat where you can see the person and here their voice.

Sometimes you won't get the jist of a person's intention until they explain or unless they are so bold that they just Haul off and tell you what they feel/think.
yup, it makes for great communicative writing skills :)

I spent my first year here thinking the same thing. Three people here continued to spout the same worn out responses to see if they could irritate everyone else. At the recommendation of someone else, I finally activated my ignore list. It has grown a bit, but I don't have to reread the same old comments over and over again.

We may not always agree, but I always respect your comments because you, like many others here, usually support your arguments with scripture.
ugh, no wonder I get no responses from you :p

Do you think a person's avatar has an effect on how they are perceived?
Certainly. Lol you probably don't want to know what dogs represent, but a little hint, it's in the Bible. One for ya'll to pull apart.

thank you for the welcome peace to you you all. As you see from my very first post it had to be told to me for a reason, yup I was a butcher once an this is how the Lord corrected me. So with 2 ears and one mouth I learned to listen twice as much as I speak ( hate the taste of crow). How are you all doing?
