I think now that I'm called a troll, it is obvious that my points are setting in. Logic is irrefutable. I find it fascinating the psychologically behind many fundamentalist and very judgmental Christians. They truly are threatened by logic however diplomatic and fair.
In fact, your knowledge of the Bible is totally lacking, because when Kayla asked you for a Scripture saying that you can be born homosexual, or that homosexuality is ok, you did not reply.
"For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; [SUP]27 [/SUP]and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.[SUP]28 [/SUP]And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done." Romans 1:25-28
I am very sympathetic to the struggles of someone like ThomistColin, who acknowledges his struggles, and fights them. I am probably less sympathetic to heterosexuals who fornicate, commit adultery, etc, when they have every opportunity to live the way God planned in a marriage of two people of the opposite gender.
As for you, I do have to wonder if you are trolling, reading google for new threads against homosexuality, and then coming here to bait us. Which is the definition of a troll!
As for logic, that is more of a Greek concept, than a Christian one. The only logic I see the Bible espousing is "repent and turn from your sins, and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ."
Not once in all your posts "notsofast" do you mention your relationship with Jesus Christ. That would be my biggest concern with you, and your posts.
You can be saved, but knowing the truth, you will have to leave behind your sin and rationalizations and turn to the living God to be saved. I pray you can do that before it is too late!
