I was born gay. I'm not sure why that's hard for you to accept. Is it hard to accept that you were born heterosexual? What if I said to you, "Nobody is born heterosexual?"
There is no such thing as permanently anything. Our minds are constantly building new connections.
I was born hating my enemies and repaying evil for evil, I was born self seeking.
I was born worrying and being anxious about things. I was born covetous and jealous.
I was born fearing death. and on and on and on.... Of all the changes that occur in a follower of Christ, the change you are worrying about is insignificant.
The question is the same as it is for everyone else... Do you love Christ and people more than you love yourself and your sin?
If the answer is yes, then pick up your cross, deny yourself and follow. He will continue the work He started in you and spiritual maturity will soon follow. Soon you will no longer be a slave to any sin.
If the answer is no, then you will die in your sins like everyone else
