Jesus demonstrated his love for others by speaking soothing words of comfort as well as difficult words of truth, by meeting people';s physical needs through some of his miracles, and by healing those who were sick or injured. But his greatest act of love — the greatest act of love in all of history — was when he willingly gave himself up to die a horrible death on a cross.

So that you could have a relationship with God.
God is Perfect Love...I am not.

There's a time and place. He hit the pharisees with harsh truth.

He gave people searching for meaning, meaning.

HE NEVER EVEN GOT A CHANCE TO ACCEPT ANYTHING!!!
This verse is Jesus speaking to us...
Your comment does not make any sense.

I will be praying that if you read any of Jesus's wisdom, that you will gain spiritual understanding.
God loves you and wants you to spend time reading His word.

If anyone tried to understand what he was saying isntead of being quick to dispute, then you will understand how i saw it also;

'If your aim is only to solve your problem in this world or in the upper world or in both, you have nothing to do with the formless God or the form of God. (If your only intent is for yourself, to gain a place in heaven, or to go for your own ends on Earth, then the truth of God eludes you) Your work is done when you pray for it sincerely. (WEhen you pray sincerely, God already knows what is truly in your head, so the words don't even need said. It is done on your end) But mind that your love is not for God but for the solution of your problem. (Be watchful, your love might only be for your solution, but not for the will of God and the ways of love itself).

Then God gives the solution for your problems only in a temporary way, which is not good for you in the long run. (Then God may give you a solution to your problems that is only temporary. To keep you going. But will not solve the biggest problem itself; that you wish for things only to solve your own problem). He postpones your bad results and brings the good results from your future births to the present (He postpones the bad incase you cannot handle it, and helps you in the moment becasue you feel you need it). By this, you only enjoy the results of the deeds (by acting in this way (to search only for the answer to your own personal issue) you enjoy only the results of the deeds, not the beauty of God and of love itself), which you have done and you cannot enjoy the results of the deeds, which you have not done.

It is like sending your application to the officer through a peon [office boy] after paying the necessary amount and getting back the application with the signature of the officer. (it's like asking in ritual to be reqwarded in ritualistic ways) You have nothing to do with the personality or the qualities of the officer (you have not actually tried to know the person giving to you). But when a girl loves the officer, she likes to see the personality and know about his qualities (but when you truly emotionally love, you seek to understand the qwualities of the officer. You wish to know them and help them (like we do when we truly love someone). His position as an officer is only one of the several aspects (But be careful not to also forgego the nature of the officer for your own wish to understand). Often, she neglects this aspect of the post, when the personality and qualities have attracted her (it becomes about the feeling rather than the general whole idea). Similarly, a real devotee feels happy by knowing the details of God and he is not worried about the benefit from God (So the true believer knows both the qualites of God's love and is not bothered about gaining for self, rather about giving. If that means knowing the qualities and being interested, then so be it. As long as we keep mind of the whole picture, which is self sacrifice). In this case, the Lord suffers for bad results of that real devotee and gives him eternal happiness (In this case, even when we may NOT get what we want, the Lord knows we are strong enough to endure in giving, rather than for ourselves,a nd this is the secret to eternal life)

God's will for us is one of self sacrifice for others with no thought for one's own ends.

That is what he tried to say.

All I want is to Love God...and to be with him.
And to love other people through His Love.
Perfect Love casts out fear!

1John 4:18
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

I will not go round with you on this one.

You can tell us what gandhi said, and ill tell you what the Bible says:

Which is out of Love time will reveal.

<< 2 Corinthians 11 >>
King James Version

1Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me. 2For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 3But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. 5For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles. 6But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.
7Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely? 8I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, to do you service. 9And when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself. 10As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia. 11Wherefore? because I love you not? God knoweth.

12But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we. 13For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

16I say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little. 17That which I speak, I speak it not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting. 18Seeing that many glory after the flesh, I will glory also. 19For ye suffer fools gladly, seeing ye yourselves are wise. 20For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face. 21I speak as concerning reproach, as though we had been weak. Howbeit whereinsoever any is bold, (I speak foolishly,) I am bold also. 22Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so am I. 23Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft. 24Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. 25Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep; 26In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; 27In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness. 28Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches. 29Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?

30If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities. 31The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not. 32In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desirous to apprehend me: 33And through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.

You know that is really very true. I do everything that I do for God out of complete love for Him not because I think of Him as my own personal Genie and expect something back.

Loveme1 the only truth is this man came and said 'true love does not think of itself' and you said he was spouting evil and trying to decieve.

That's the only truth I see.

I gotta go work.

A better translation; Of course we would not dare classify ourselves or compare ourselves with those who rate themselves so highly. How stupid they are! They make up their own standards to measure themselves by, and they judge themselves by their own standards! 13 As for us, however, our boasting will not go beyond certain limits; it will stay within the limits of the work which God has set for us, and this includes our work among you. 14 And since you are within those limits, we were not going beyond them when we came to you, bringing the Good News about Christ. 15 So we do not boast about the work that others have done beyond the limits God set for us. Instead, we hope that your faith may grow and that we may be able to do a much greater work among you, always within the limits that God has set. 16 Then we can preach the Good News in other countries beyond you and shall not have to boast about work already done in someone else's field.

We both know much more was said......

The human being is entangled in the cycle of deeds called as karma chakra. The thought in the mind is the seed, which grows and generates action. The action certainly gives its result. Even if you escape the result of your action in this world you cannot escape from it in the upper world. In fact the result in the upper world is very severe due to the compounded interest due to the delay in getting the result. Therefore blessed are those who are punished in this world itself. Jesus says “It is better to punish yourself for your sin in this world itself than to fall into eternal hell”.

The punishment reduces the thought (which caused the deed) to the state of a tiny seedling. However the punishment cannot destroy the thought completely. The thought exists in a very minute called the state of subconsciousness. Even you are not aware of your subconscious thought. When the soul comes from hell to the earth and enters a new human body, the child contains all the qualities or thoughts of previous births, hidden in the subconscious state. Therefore the child is unaware of anything and appears to be the most innocent and sacred. In the child the thoughts are like seeds that have not germinated. Whatever may be the external atmosphere in which the child grows; those strong thoughts will certainly germinate and grow up to be tender plants if not strong trees. But if the external atmosphere is favorable, the strong thoughts become trees, and weak thoughts will become plants. These germinated thoughts will result in corresponding actions. The actions will give their own fruits whether here or there.

Mediate stop and think to yourself what if what you have believed about God was the devil deceiving you. If you actually stopped and thought about it and then started praying to God asking HIM to show you HIS truth I believe that He will do that gladly.

Matthew 22

36Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38This is the first and great commandment. 39And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
More than sufficient to give that message?

Mark 9:38-40, And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us. But Jesus said, forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak of me. For he that is not against us is on our part.
