Definitely boring, absolutely informative.....

Nice video for the most part. One thing he should have studied a little more before putting in the entrainment section though is how the brain reacts to audio. In order to entrain brainwaves using sound, both ears need to have the same frequency input. That basically means audio entrainment is difficult or mostly impossible without using headphones. If the frequency input into either ear differs, it doesn't have the same hypnotic effect because your brainwaves can't mimic the two different frequencies at once. It will actually combine the frequencies, do some math, and create it's own frequency based on the differences. That's basically what audio entrainment does is trick the brain into mimicking the frequency input to the ears.
But we all know that music itself has it's own hypnotic effect by manipulating emotions and that alone can alter our state of mind, often causing us to experience altered consciousnesses very similar to a dream state. Same is true with the flashing light patterns. When combined, they cause a hyper charged emotional state of mind. A lot of the apostate churches rely on this in order to feign "God encounters" and to validate their flawed doctrines.
The problem with this type of atmosphere in worship is that as soon as the brain readjusts and comes back to normal (similar to coming down from a drug induced high), the experience loses it's strength in the person's mind and becomes quickly irrelevant.
That means false conversions. They will crave this "encounter with God" though and go back wanting to feel it again, much like someone addicted to a drug. Both drugs and emotionally charged concerts alike overload the body and brain with endorphins and dopamine.
So what happens to the followers of these types of churches is they essentially become idolaters seeking a "feel-good encounter with God" without a strong theological backing to reinforce their over-emotional hyper charged doxology. God to them becomes an experiential based, subjective concept that they make mean whatever makes them feel good, while neglecting the objective study of God and Christology that leads to true and proper worship. In essence, they create their own feel-good god and worship it and deny the God of scripture. False converts.
