This is beyond ridiculous....
1. Christmas is a pagan holiday
2. Christians are being beheaded all over the world and people are mad at something petty like a coffee cup
3. Quit griping, enjoy your coffee and be grateful to live in a country that gives you religious freedom

At this point though I hear more from Christians saying 'who cares about the cup' than anyone complaining about it. In fact I've seen about two people complain about the cup and over a dozen complain about the complainers. And one of the times I heard an 'anti-cup' was in response to one of the 'who cares' posters.
All this on fb. Which I don't have a lot of people on it, yet still say 3 separate 'who cares' posts. My point? The indifferent types are making a bigger fuss about the outraged than the outraged are about the cups.

I dunno, that and Easter are like the only things close to a holiday Christians have, and Im sure the reason they removed it from their cups is because of the word Christ, being a holiday based on His birth and all.

Although I dont really find this to be a huge thing to protest over, I do find it to be kinda crappy of people to do. Same thing with banning the manger scene from public places. Its the first small step to banning Christ, I think.

Why do Christians look to the secular world for God? Why would a Christian be surprised that they won't find God abiding with the secular world? Seriously people.............goodness.

If you want a Santa Clause on your coffee cup, go to Walmart and buy one.

I have no interest in anything based on Santa claus : p

But yeah, I would agree, it should be no surprise that the world is pushing harder and harder to remove God from itself. But I do think its a bad sign of whats to come in the future. At the very least, it fulfills what God said would happen, the world will hate Him and those who follow Him.

How about a protest for how badly burnt the coffee roast is at sbux. It'll tear a hole in your gut.

I may be the only remaining person who has never purchased anything from Starbucks. Never had the urge to.

Starbucks is not stopping anyone from doing anything Christmas related. If you want to go in there covered head to toe in clothes that say Merry Christmas then I'm sure they would have no objection. They're probably saving themselves a lot of money by not specifically ordering Christmas cups. And as I previously mentioned, Christmas is a pagan holiday anyway so what's the big deal?

I've never been to starbucks, as I've never had coffee, but I'm not surprised that people are faux offended by anything anymore. A cup containing coffee is just that, a cup containing coffee. I couldn't take anyone seriously that's making a big deal out of that lol

I have never bought anything from Starbucks..I think though, that to complain about Starbucks not having a Christmas theme on their cups, is the same as being gay and complaining that a bakery won't make a cake for them..Has Starbucks claimed to be a God fearing ran company? Pretty sure there will be other coffee companies, that will have decorations.

RIGHT! Starbucks coffee is so overroasted it makes it very bitter. As an aside, did you know that people who have a preference for bitter tasting things (like black coffee, for example) score higher on indicators for psychopathy? Keep that in mind the next time you go to Starbucks. ;)

Haha, poetmary!

I read on the Internet that psychopaths don't typically yawn when other people do. Isn't that something.

I love a nice dark roast but it needs to be smooth.....like a Cuban colada.

I'm on the lookout for Bantam Bagels to come to my local Starbucks market. I have a sister in NYC who loves their bagels and apparently sbux has recently agreed to carry bantam bagels in some stores.
