I saw that preacher dude, Josh something or other protesting it on Facebook. He's always extra and annoying. This is the same guy who was protesting the gay marriage thing while holding an assault rifle. Thanks for making Christians look like lunatics.

Anyone who is indifferent about the cultural decline of Christmas should read A Christmas Carol again or at least watch one of the many film adaptations. There is something of the miraculous in that holiday. It reminds us of "Peace on Earth. Good will toward men." and how it is worthwhile to bless others in the same manner- with warmth and generosity.

It is, in short, a beautiful holiday with a beautiful message that, I think, does in some way sustain people beyond Christmastime and the "holiday season." It does for me, anyhow. Many of my fondest memories were from that special time of year.

If Christmas is not the center of the "holidays" then we've missed the entire point. Materialism, atheism, and a whole host of isms have done yet one more thing to steal our God given joy.

As for Starbucks- those who love liberty have had reasons to boycott them long before this.

If having Merry Christmas on their cups improved the Coffee there would be something to complain about. As it is the Coffee
tastes disgusting whether anything is on the cups or not

Starbucks is anti-Christian and their coffee tastes like "mule". Two strikes -- they're out.

The fact that they don't acknowledge Christmas by no means suggests that they are antichristian

I don't need my Savior's name on a corporate coffee cup to acknowledge he's there. If anything, keep him off of it. He's above that nonsense.

True, however, their historical record of activism in all things non-Christian would be a good hint that they are not exactly dying to "Go ye unto all the world."

Starbucks is the polar opposite of Chic Fillet (in my opinion) when it comes to supporting Christian values.

He does enjoy the occasional latte though, preferably from Dunkin' Donut. America runs on Dunkin'.

Maybe Christians should go to Starbucks during the holidays and share the Gospel. Sit down with someone and ask how they are doing? I am guilty of not doing this and I think it is a great way from Christians to get out there and show people that we actually care for them.

I don't drink coffee, so I am another who has never been to Starbucks. My husband does drink coffee, but he prefers Tim Horton's because they are much cheaper, and serve food and good donuts and muffins.

I wonder what Timmie's will have on their Christmas cups? Besides, Timmies is all about hockey, so how can you not support a place like that?

I would think you would be asked to leave........seriously. Doesn't mean you shouldn't do it, just be prepared to be thrown out. :)
