I think if my kids were asked to do this when they went to school I would also be a bit upset as well.

Quote from the article...."A geography teacher at the district’s Riverheads High in Staunton, Va., gave an assignment asking students to try their hand at calligraphy by copying a statement in Arabic, according to the Staunton News Leader.It was the Muslim statement of faith, according to the newspaper: “There is no god but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.” [end quote]

The article also went on to say ...."Students were also invited to try on a hijab, or head scarf."

Islam has been being taught in schools for some time now, probably at least fifteen years, while Christianity has been pushed aside in favor of political correctness and the increasing secularization of our nations.

If we cant have Charlie Browns Christmas they cant have a head wrap and Islam. No religion means no religion. I do like how the parents solved the Charlie Brown play.They attended the play and all said the lines together "For unto us is born this day"... it was great.Smart group of parents.

I saw this on the news. Good work parents across America and parents in Virginia! 15 years of bombing did nothing in the war against islam. One single day of parents that stood up to islam removed the shahada from our schools with zero violence. Praise Jesus, praise God, this is a good news week!

Throwing down idols in New Orleans full legally and now expelling islam's dark oath to their idol and false prophet full legally with zero violence or vigilantism is a pretty good start I'd say.

Teaching history and geography is one thing, but choosing to have the children write the Muslim statement of faith sounds very suspicious and sneaky on the teachers part if you ask me. I mean, why choose that particular phrase for the children to write?

I love the stupidity of these people.I really do. They dont want any religion in Christmas,no Christian ideas at all because Christians are so racist and bigoted. Then they try to sneak by Islam that don't allow women to drive,wrap them in fabric from head to toe and more against homosexuality than any Christian. If they think we are bad they are about to get an Islamic enema they wont soon forget!

Wearing Middle-Eastern clothing (the head scarf for women, I am not sure what for the guys?) was optional for an extra credit. Sounds too similar to the "parable" of the frog in the pot of water to me.

I looked up "Islamic men's fashion" on Google images...all young men modeling...no different than Madison Avenue's tactics.
Maybe this whole war thingy is a Madison Ave. conspiracy to start up a new design fashion of dressing. :p

It's not just being forced on women in Iran and Saudi Arabia, it has also become the flag for political Islam in the west. Yeah, Muslim men basically do and wear whatever they want while the women are covered from head to toe and blamed for the inability of Muslim men to control their primal drives.

The dress code debate is another issue onto itself. Not all of it is islamic, islam simply perveted and corrupted what is otherwise beautiful Arabic and other middle eastern culture. That's a massive topic though in itself. For this topic, I am just so glad I see this, let's maximize though. Let the furor die down. No need to be angry at the school people or the muslims or any of that, the people have spoken and shahada defeated. No more shahada in our schools, no violence, praise Jesus, simple as that.

See that shows the difference between the spirit of this world, being from the father of this world, or Prince of this world, being the Devil. And the difference between the Holy Spirit, which the world cannot receive because of "it" the spirit of the lie sees not the Spirit of Truth.

Just as Jesus said the world would receive it's own, the world is more apt to receive the doctrine of lies because of that spirit that is at work in the world and in them. It seems crazy to us how the world could embrace that religion, but when you look at what the Lord said about sending the world a strong delusion to believe the lies because they refused the Truth, then it all makes perfect sense.

Same spirit of the Prince of this world, does not regard the desire of women, but the Devils own desire will be working in them. Hate to say it but the US government is getting really chummy with Muslim countries who have lots of money, and we know how money influences governments and cause them to make poor judgments and poor decisions.

Jesus works harder, praise Jesus indeed these stories prove so. Islam resisted and no violence or vigilante type stuff needed either. Let not the people be outraged or raged at all, but happy.
