I think Hillary made Trump her ... in the the first debate. My only consolation for Trump vs. Hillary is that I thought Trump was going to mop the floor with her in the debate like he did with the other candidates.

I couldn't believe he actually complained about Hillary attacking him with ads... what the heck? Trump can dishonor Ted's wife but he is complaining about Hillary's ads being too mean? Where the heck is the wrecking ball I was expecting him to use to eviscerate Clinton?!

I have to agree with you. Except that even though being himself will help recover a little self-respect, he is still destined to lose.

From my personal opinion, yes. I was looking forward to Trump destroying her and blasting her on her past. I know the moderator was against Trump, but they were in the past and Trump was still able to beat down the Republican candidates. He didn't do anything significant in the debate...

I get people are saying, "he just needed to show he can be presidential"... but what happened to not being politically correct? Of all the times I wanted him to go full on assault, it's against this witch... he goes soft on her. He isn't going to fool anyone into thinking he is anything else than what he has shown the American people the past year. He may as well embrace it and wear it as a badge of honor... He can't beat Hillary at HER own game, he can only beat her with HIS game like he did in the primaries.

Hillary remained composed and focused through-out the debate. I really thought that he was going to clean her clock during the debate but seemed to remain on the defensive during the whole debate. He gave a very disappointing performance. He better up his game for the next debate or he's probably through.

I agree in the fact that trump could've done a lot more, I listened to his phone call the next day to Fox and they asked him why he didn't try to bring up Bengahzi and other points he could reck Hilary with and he said that because of the questions the moderator was giving him he couldn't answer the question and move on to other points. I mean you have to keep in mind Trump is not a pro-debater like Hilary is (she's been doing it for years) so I mean he hasn't had the practice. But I hope he turns up the heat.
I still think he won though, Hilary and the moderator tried to corner him and he was able to get out of everything, where as Hilary just had a cake walk of a time

He wasn't actually complaining about the ads or attacking her..

His point was that she has spent over a quarter of a Billion dollars on ads against him and she's still neck-and-neck with him in the polls... While he hasn't spent anywhere near that much and didn't even do the kind of negative ads that he could easily do against her.
