This is like someone breaking and entering into a serial killer's house, finding bodies, and the killer is like, "How dare you violate my privacy!?" Then the cops ignore the bodies, the fact he is a murderer, and then go after the person breaking and entering all the while ignoring the fact that they just caught a serial killer red handed.

So if Russia did leak the info, all though debatable, shouldn't we be thanking them considering what they saved us from? People are so caught up with the idea that a foreign government wished to involve itself in our election process and have influence over the winner but are acting oblivious to the content released that is incriminating. Does one place privacy. domestic or otherwise, over injustice?

The intent of Russia, if it did indeed do as accused, is what should intrigue people. For what reason or gain did they involve themselves? Maybe it was to avoid war with the USA, considering that was all people speculated about if Hillary became president. Maybe it is privy to information that it is only capable of implementing with Donald Trump as president in order to defeat our common enemies. Just maybe all of this is the will of God, turning on the lights in a dark room, for the sake of this nation and His church.

Privacy over injustice? Is this your battle cry? One shouldn't ignore privacy, it has its importance, but if privacy is being used to hide evil and it is exposed shouldn't the fault rather be with the person who has something to hide? It is like going through a police inspection point, if you're innocent you have nothing to worry about. If you are carrying something illegal, then you should be nervous. Privacy is upheld and praised by a thief, so long as it only concerns their privacy. Once someone meddles in their affairs, forget their illegal actions, they have been wronged.

One might wish to show a little gratitude, with investigative concern, towards Russia. What is their intent? Beyond this, lets rejoice in whats been avoided by a soon to be ally.

Someone could probably make a killing with T-shirts that have the word privacy over the word injustice and it being crossed out in red.

Your posts in this thread illustrate what I said before about the inconsistency of your reasonings and your quick trigger in bashing trump or the Russians when the stark cold reality is that the ONLY reasons a foreign entity would have their hands on classified material is because Hillary broke the law with a private server....not mention that the illegal server contained info on all the other laws she broke and put America at risk with. I'm sorry but it's hard to be playful with someone who can't at least be honest about the whole picture. Personally, I'm glad whoever it is exposed Hillary for the opportunist criminal hagamuffin that she so thoroughly and completely is.
While we're at it, Mr Honesty Esq., what else do you think the Russians and other hostile governments gets to know because some of our own people find it convenient to look the other way whenever foreign intelligence is rolling over the country?

So by your standards, if a foreign national stumbles into good ole Alabama and murders your family, and I learn the identity of the murder through illegal activities of my own, I should not tell the authorities in order to bring you justice and closure because, not only am I a criminal myself, but hey, your problems are none of my business. Good to know.
No, that's not what I'm saying. My point is that foreign powers are perpetually seeking information, while big old Utah rather accidentally would be on the receiving end of such information. My concern isn't about them blowing Clinton, but what else they are able to by now. Think about it.

Okay, I deliberately beat the information out of the murderer. So what? I'm now in position to help you.

Idk. Ask Hillary...or bowing obama. They've been giving it to them on a silver platter since bill Clinton was president in exchange for money. And I don't think it's that your intentionally dishonest. It's just that you lack the understanding to know when you're not.

As I said, my concern is the position foreign powers are manipulating their way into. Surely you know this:).

Compared to you I'm the incarnation of stupid;).In fact so stupid that I fail to see that you are talking about something completely different.

On a serious note. I don't believe that we should allow foreign powers to gain access to our country just because the sitting president and Clinton have been a total disaster when it comes to foreign policy.

BTW, are any of you observant enough to notice that these supposed "intelligence reports" NEVER say anything was hacked by the Russians? Seriously. They do not ever say that. The closest they will come is to saying that some of the earmarks they have noticed are the same way the Russians do things.

Well, if THEY know the things to look for, don't you think any hacker worth their salt could, and WOULD, make sure to include those very same processes, procedures, and earmarks in the hacks they make? This is hacking 101...... make it look like someone else did the hacking.

By the same token, the Russians are far too smart to deliberately leave a trail right back to them by using techniques they know, full well, we are already aware of, and are specifically looking for.

Let's look at the REST OF THE STORY

https://www.washingtonpost.com/worl...k-1215p:homepage/story&utm_term=.69c303f2d9cd

1. Source for this article is provably biased (Washington Post).
It's from the Washington Post, which has come out AGAINST TRUMP and AGAINST THE RIGHT so often, and in such biased ways, they've even had to admit some of their stories were INCORRECT!

About a week ago they even published a list of "fake news sites" from a source so silly and fabricated they had to later admit it was nonsense.
Other major media also came out and said it was nonsense.

2. NO CLEAR CONNECTIONS:
"intelligence agencies do not have specific intelligence showing officials in the Kremlin “directing” the identified individuals to pass the Democratic emails to WikiLeaks"
(This is taken from original article, linked above.)

There are simply NO clear connections... just innuendo.

3. No EVIDENCE:
“I’ll be the first one to come out and point at Russia if there’s clear evidence, but there is no clear evidence — even now,” said Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and a member of the Trump transition team. “There’s a lot of innuendo, lots of circumstantial evidence, that’s it.”
(This is taken from original article, linked above.)

Foreign powers aren't limited to the Russians.
