For the record,

I'm sure we can find plenty of "reasonable things" to dislike about Trump, or his policies.

But the DAILY SMEARS put out by newspapers that are provably, and admittedly biased, are not on that list of "reasonable things".

Surely we can do better than this.
people dont wanna be reasonable. They just wanna spout off the elevated emotional reactions they get from the boob tube.

Oh, a lawyer...great...lol...

RIDICULE, to DEFLECT THE ARGUMENT, doesn't equal LOGIC...
it just PROVES you have no argument.

You accused me of using a "straw man argument"... BACK IT UP.

I'll reiterate:

1. Give us all a nice definition of "straw man argument".
(Please use a source other than yourself.)

2. Explain, explicitly and precisely, how I used a straw man argument.

3. If you can't do #1 and #2 sufficiently, and back up your claims I used a straw man argument, then you need to apologize
.

I owe you no apology.

I'm not the one pitching fits here. You know well what I was talking about.

Please keep it civil. This isn't a court room brawl.

Face it jennymae. If you had to back up your views in person you'd be made to look like a bumbling fool. There ain't no meat on them bones. Just the rotting carcus of indoctrination.

Well, I didn't vote for her, so you're addressing the wrong person.

This is where you are wrong, Mr Sirk. I'm not even sure you are able to grasp what I'm talking about.

I was being EXTREMELY civil.

You ACCUSED me of something... then you chose to neither back up the accusation, nor apologize for making it.

If you want to ACCUSE ME of things, don't act like YOU'RE THE VICTIM.

We aren't going to let you play the victim game when you dish it out but can't take it.

Sorry.

Want a hug?

Probably not. What I do know is that if you can't explain something so others can understand, you don't understand it yourself.

I'm not playing the victim. Quite the contrary, I'd say. Accusations? Well, I think you and Mr Sirk have been making yalls fair share of accusations:).

Why are you concerned about what I understand or don't understand?;)

Cuz you're disruptive to what could otherwise be fruitful conversation with your politically charged rhetoric and proclivities. You have an agenda and it's apparent.

That's not true, Mr Sirk. I wish you would be honest. Go back and read the posts. Then come tell me you're not to blame in any way. As of now you're blaming me. But okay, I can live with that:).

Wonderful!

I'm so glad you're willing to debate like a reasonable person.

So, in order to be "reasonable" you need to BACK UP YOUR ACCUSATIONS.

You accused me of making a "straw man argument"... BACK IT UP.

Want a hug?

You can still have a hug.

We can all cry together.

Oh, Mr Maxwell, we're going in circles now. I don't have to back up anything. Nobody is backing up anything in this thread. And whenever somebody is backing something up, they are backing up something completely different. Maybe they've gotten backbiting misspelled?

Wow this got off topic...Either way as long as it means Hillarys not president you can debate all you like. I honestly don't mean to rile people up with my topics....It just happens.

Let's look at the REST OF THE STORY

https://www.washingtonpost.com/worl...k-1215p:homepage/story&utm_term=.69c303f2d9cd

1. Source for this article is provably biased (Washington Post).
It's from the Washington Post, which has come out AGAINST TRUMP and AGAINST THE RIGHT so often, and in such biased ways, they've even had to admit some of their stories were INCORRECT!

About a week ago they even published a list of "fake news sites" from a source so silly and fabricated they had to later admit it was nonsense.
Other major media also came out and said it was nonsense.

2. NO CLEAR CONNECTIONS:
"intelligence agencies do not have specific intelligence showing officials in the Kremlin “directing” the identified individuals to pass the Democratic emails to WikiLeaks"
(This is taken from original article, linked above.)

There are simply NO clear connections... just innuendo.

3. No EVIDENCE:
“I’ll be the first one to come out and point at Russia if there’s clear evidence, but there is no clear evidence — even now,” said Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and a member of the Trump transition team. “There’s a lot of innuendo, lots of circumstantial evidence, that’s it.”
(This is taken from original article, linked above.)

We all look at stuff and get upset before we check it out.

We all do that.

No big deal.

And really, a lot of bad reporting is done to just INTENTIONALLY upset us.
It happens.
