Jesus said for us to look for the signs of the times of His return. The emphasis is not on the signs or on some obscure religious practice, but on Him. I am very concerned that yet another book by someone who claims he is "hearing God’s voice" but offers no biblical basis for thinking that to be true, will point Christians away from God’s Word and we will become distracted by a man who is a self-proclaimed prophet.

There are many false prophets who teach things contrary to the Word of God. ANYONE who teaches ANYTHING contrary to Scriptures is FALSE. For example ANYONE who teaches there are no more prophets, teach things that are contrary to the Word of God, for clearly there were other prophets even AFTER John the Baptist was killed. Scriptures teach one of the Gifts of the Holy Ghost is the Gift of Prophesy. The teaching that there are no prophets today, is false and is contrary to the Word of God. Those who believe and teach that false doctrine, say and teach those who have the gift of prophesy that only means they are the ones who understand prophesies that have already been written. They do not understand that there is another Gift of the Holy Ghost which is the Gift of Understanding and Knowledge, which understands the prophesies. To prophesy is to foretell. But leave it to this wicked and perverted generation to CHANGE what the word Prophet actually means.

The prophets have spoken. There is no more to say.
Where is this written in the Word of God? Or is this something that you personally teach? Because i have read the entire Bible over 80 times, and NOWHERE does it say or teach, that God stops speaking to people, like He did in the past. Is it not written God is the same yesterday, today, and forever? In the Last Days, their sons and daughters shall prophesize.

Act_2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

Now according to YOU, and not the Word of God, they will only have visions of things already known, NOTHING new. According to you, they will have dreams, but only of stuff already known and understood, NOTHING new. And according to you, those sons and daughters, will have the gift of prophesy, but will only prophesize about what others have already prophesied about. You are wrong and God is True. God in the last days will reveal to whom He will reveal. Is it not written to seal up certain things to be revealed in the last days. Who will reveal that which is sealed? Will that knowledge that was sealed be NEW? God is God and He can reveal to whomever He so chooses to reveal too. The Scriptures does not teach that God STOPS speaking with His children. Men in teaching false doctrines teach that. And men teach that because they take thought, well God has never audibly spoke to me, therefore God does not speak to others.

Even those who will rise up in the last days will proclaim nothing new, but simply reiterate what the prophets of old have written.
lol, so they do not have the Gift of Prophesy, but instead have the gift of understanding, or gift of knowledge (I Cor 12:8) Do NOT look to the men of the last days to tell you what the word "prophesy" means, but look to the Word of God and find out what the Scriptures teach concerning the word "prophesy". Prophesy in all of Scriptures is to foretell. Scriptures even teach that you can know a false prophet by if what they say happens or not, if they say something is going to happen and it does not happen that is a false prophet, AGAIN, to foretell. Men of this generation has altogether CHANGED the meaning of the word "prophesy" to fit their own beliefs.

Yet we let our Bibles collect dust while we chase after modern-day authors.
Bibles do collect dust, because this generation does not read the Bible. Nor do people in this generation back up their beliefs by what the Bible says and teaches. For example, people today teach that there are no prophets after John the Baptist, yet there is Scriptural proof there was prophet AFTER the death of John the Baptist, So instead of discarding that false belief, because that belief does not line up with Scriptures, they will change the interpretation of the Bible to match their own false belief, and then teach others that belief. Woe to this wicked generation.

If what you believe contradicts even one verse in Scriptures, then what you believe is Wrong. Change your belief, do NOT change the Scriptures to fit your own interpretations. Interpretations belong to God, NOT to men. God will reveal to whom God will reveal. For example, God has told me many things, that are not in the Bible, yet not one thing He has told me contradicts ANYTHING in the Word of God. God has showed me visions, all of which are what is to come in the future, again, none of them contrary to the Scriptures, and God has revealed to me things in dreams that is to come, again those either are not contrary to Scriptures.

Here is a prophesy given to me by God. One day you will see a man on TV, that will say these exact words "Where is your God now?" He says this soon after the Tribulation Period starts. Is that information found in the Word of God? Nope. Does that mean it is not from God? NOPE!!!! Only men in this last days generation teach that God does not speak to people any more, which is NOWHERE in the Scriptures, only in their own minds and thoughts. Is that which was revealed to me, NEW. Yes, because it is not in the Word of God. Does it contradict the Word of God? Not at all. God has told me many things that will come to pass. And do you know what He has told me the most "Love One Another"
He has also told me to tell this generation: " If what you believe contradicts even one verse is Scriptures, then what you believe is in error" He also said to me "There is no sin that you do that you can't possibly cease from" and many other things like that, He hates sin. Do these sound like the words of a demon or a devil? Love, Do ONLY good, Be Holy, and He answered all the questions i had concerning the Word, and the understanding of it. You go ahead and teach God does not speak to people any more, i KNOW differently, and have not failed to reveal to you the Truth, it is on you, if you reject the Truth or not.

I recommend a book by Anthony Hoekema entitled "Amilennialism". It is a good, biblical cure to all the scary and un-biblical "prophecy" being offered out there. I do believe persecution is coming, but it's always been with the church all along. The second coming may be minutes away, but it could also be 100's of years away. We should live our lives in obedience to our Savior so that we will not be ashamed when He comes back.
I read his book, "The Bible and the Future" which was recommended by my theology prof in Seminary, as a good book to undertand the Amilennial perspective.

I also read Kim Riddlebarger's book "The Case for Amillennialism: Understanding the End Times" These books more or less confirmed what I had already discovered in my 50 or more times of reading the Bible through.

Here is a link to some other books which give this viewpoint. If this link doesn't come through, try googling it! Thanks!

You might give "Israelology-The Missing Link in Systematic Theology" a whirl by Arnold Fruchtenbaum. He goes over the technical aspects of all the views and adds an interesting slant of his own.

The Hadron Colider is as we speak amping up the particles that will collide. Mid September is when they will collide. They are looking for the God particle.
i expect this to be a good time for the Tribulation Period to begin.
DiscipleDave, so all that really happened was that the atom smasher created extremely tiny water droplets, right? Have you heard anything else about it?

Did you check the Ariel Ministries site? Logos also has it as an ebook for much cheaper.

Who gave a prophesy? If it is a True Prophesy, it would have been from God.

Here is what i said

So it would seem you mistook this for a prophesy, and therefore said what you did, if it was towards me, i forgive you. If towards another, you should tell them your sorry.

If this would have been a prophesy from me, it would have been said like this.

That is what i would have said if it were a prophesy from God, and it would have happened exactly as God said it would happen.

i, personally expect every day to be a good day for the Tribulation Period to start, some days more so than others, but every day would be a good day to expect the Tribulation Period to begin.

Truth be told it started the day Christ ascended. Truth be told we should expect our own personal rapture tonight (as in the case of the rich man who boasted about his future stores). Truth be told we all falsely prophesy when we point at a date or event.

Be ready for now, plan for tomorrow, and who cares what happens in between?
