I'm not voting for Trump, but even I didn't go into this with a skeptic eye. Be completely honest. Rather than praying for a changed heart (as Jesus commands us to do so), Trump could rescue children from a burning building and you'd say he was the one that put them there and started the fire in the first place. Everything is skeptical to you, isn't it?
Clearly you are not aware of the history here on this Forum Page. On more than one occasion, I defended Trump when he was wrongly accused of something, or wrongly attacked for something he did not say or do.

So, your critique is, well....................is............hmm, what's the word I'm looking for......hmm.......

Donald Trump supporter=anti-christ. Got it.
Not talking about his supporters.......plural...........got it?

Nor did I state anything abot anti-christ........that's on you........got it?

As usual, you are incapable of truthfully responding here...........and while you may not admit it, or even be aware of it, you have gone through a drastic change since this election cycle began. It is truly sad to see.......

I would be suspicious of anyone who needs a photo to prove they pray!
Matthew 6:5 "And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full."

It would be more news worthy if Trump prayed and asked Christ to be his personal Saviour. Trump claims to be Christian in one breath, but freely admits he has never asked God for forgiveness in another. This poses an impossible paradox: accepting Christ as your personal Saviour while not asking for forgiveness of one's sins.

Lol..........he must mean that we should do as he and the other Trumpites do, and include such a disclaimer in all of our comments they way they do in theirs........has to be it right? ........Lol.....every comment they post has the disclaimer...
"wow, I could be wrong, Trump could be the biggest liar in the History of Politics, and his only motive is to deceive the American people into voting for him."

Lol...........I read that all the time in their comments.........uh, no, wait, they ONLY WANT us to do that.......
This is true. I admire their passion and resolve, but not the double-standards.

On a side note, I'm not a moderator, but lets lay off who is crazy, who has fallen off, etc... We are better than that. We are brothers and sisters in Christ. Division shouldn't trump (no pun intended) our unity in devotion to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

To be fair, though, none of us knows for sure unless he comes across and says so live on national tv. And this photo has appeared long after Trump has made those comments. Does anything get held over you from before you acknowledged Christ as Savior? I'm not even voting for the guy, but this site seems to have lost context in everything.

Yes, he did say it live on tv. He says he's never asked God for forgiveness. That he doesn't work that way; He said he'd rather "just try to do better the next time" rather than utilize the Saviour as our Saviour by asking for forgiveness. Doing better next time doesn't clean us, only the blood of Jesus Christ can.

Now, I'm not going to go as far as to judge Trump and say he isn't a Christian. His walk is between he and God. However, I do find a paradox: How does one accept Christ as their Saviour if you don't ask God for forgiveness? What is God saving us from if not for our sins?

Accepting Christ as our Saviour (being a Christian) while never asking God for forgiveness is like claiming to be a full time vegan but still eating meat and other animal products.

Every time something is pointed out negative about Trump, I am reminded that Jesus asked the most impulsive disciple who even denied him 3 times (and I don't see where he asked for forgiveness) to be the leader of His community after His death.

He knew something about Peter that others didn't see in the gospels that would make him a good leader. He also knew him to be a sinner, as all Christian leaders have been, are and will be. Peter was so imperfect.

Knowing that, I still feel that Trump with his brash, outspoken, sometimes hurtful words - yet he seems to be honest - just might be the person God wants.

Neither candidate is a perfect person for the job as President. Let's pray and vote as we feel led.

People tend to call others who support trump, trumpites or try to put some other negative connotation on us. That is what really gets me...because it is the same thing people who follow "rules for radicals" do.....it's an attempt at dehumanizing your opponent and frankly it makes me mad when people who I would otherwise agree with do such a lowbrow thing....I expect it from hateful marxists but not from so called christians.

You are making a valid point. We should not be labeling each other in a negative way.

We ain't had no Christian president since Carter, so you might could be right.
You've lost all credibility with that statement. Even your double negative couldn't help. You sure do like to judge people's heart's, and incorrectly I might add.

If a bunch of my enemies wanted to know about what God has forgiven me for...I would not feel any need to speak of that or put it in a context they might think they have power to judge me. When Trump met with the some leading Christians in our nation in a private meeting, they all came out testify to the faith in Christ they witnessed in him...even the ones that was not sure they could support him testified to the sincere faith they seen in him.....

I don't make disclaimers, but I do where insults from liberals as a badge of honor. Proceed, good Christian.
