Not if the government is the one that takes the money in the form of taxes.

The Bible isn't saying taxing is stealing. It says give to Caesar what is Caesar's. Mark 12:17
Taken out of context. Our government is tyrannical against the working class. We do not have to give to Caesar that which promotes tyranny. You know that.

I don't think everyone who is homeless is lazy or has a victim mentality. As someone else mentioned earlier, there are many people who are one paycheck away from being homeless. Just out of curiosity I Google the average price of an apartment in New York and the average is around $3,000 a month. So it would not surprise me if New York at a high rate of homeless people
I would never say everyone. But maybe too many...

Have you read The Manhattan Hunt Club by John Saul? It's a fictional novel but the auther visited the New York subways to research. Apparently there are entire communities of homeless people who live in the unused subway tunnels beneath the city
I have heard about that, but not read the book.

Youre talking about organizations. I'm talking about the human heart. Which leads me to believe that you don't yet know what real sacrifice is.
I'm talking about charity which encompasses individual human heart and organizational. To pretend that there is only one brand of charity is to deny reality.

You're constantly lead to make assumptions. No problem here. :)

You do have a point here. I can't argue that, but where do we draw the line from "not contributing to tyranny" and "not paying taxes because they support tyranny"?

You vote for people who are for a free market with less regulation and less taxation. Then the good people have more of their own to be charitable with.
