Hey everyone! As usual, I want to give a big thank you to the people who encouraged me to do this thread! :) Thank you to MayMayMayMay, Cate7 and jb800m. The title is self-explanatory; this is a random acts of kindness thread. More of a challenge from me to all of you, really. I, as well as alot of you, have seen alot of arguing and meanness in the forums lately. I think it's time we change that, and start being kinder not only to each other, but to everyone we meet. :)

This is a random acts of kindness card.
I challenge each of you to do a random act of kindness for someone either on here, and/ or in your own personal lives. You can keep it anonymous if you wish, or you can tell us what you did. If you do an act of kindness for someone on here, I want you to tag the next poster after you with the kindness card, and challenge them to do something!! I want this card to be passed around into ALL of the forums (I'm gonna check, lol)!! Here is a list of some random things you can do.
:eek:Ready, set, go!!! To the first one who posts after me, I said a prayer for you today! Tag--you're it! Pass on this kindness card, and challenge the person who posts after you to do a random act of kindness!!

Give them a break, they're still getting over the ice bucket challenge. Do you have any idea how many people caught a cold because of that stupid stunt? It's hard to feel kindness when you're coughing and sneezing. And if you do happen to feel any kindness, it's hard to act on it when you have to blow your nose every 1.73 minutes. :p

Um, actually I didn't understand the challenge. Am I supposed to post the tag here and do something for the poster below me?

P.S. I wanted to ask you this yesterday but I didn't want to derail the thread. :(

You can either do an act of kindness on here and post the tag, and/or do a random act of kindness in your own personal life at home. :) You can tell what the act of kindness was, or you can keep it anonymous.

Well, if they're foolish enough to dump a bucket of ice water over their heads..lol :) But yeah, it's no fun having a cold..

OK here's a true life right here in my own home slap me in the head act of kindness that makes me smile..... last week (late) my daughter and I were at the local convenience store heading in to buy slurpees ( um yep I love them too) so we have a lot of homeless around us because they kicked them out of our sister city and sent them here to safe harbor....sorry getting sidetracked, anyways there was this older homeless guy sitting on the curb outside of the store....my daughters and I got to talking to him and as we were another lady walked up, as she did my daughter tried to give her a penny that she had found...the lady chuckled told her she was sweet and continued into the store.... We said have a blessed day to the gentleman on the curb and walked into the store for the slurpees...while in the store the same lady walks up to my daughters and gave them each a dollar. We paid for our purchases then walked out.... My daughters took there dollars to the homeless man and gave it to him...my oldest says maybe you can get a home :) there the best kids I mean it! And not just because there mine! Thank you Jesus!

Wow that's a cool story. :) My bday is this weekend and I'm thinking of doing what the woman in the video I just posted did. :)

When I have extra money, I often pay for the person's order in the car behind me in the drive through at Starbucks just to make waves in the person's life :)
