My random act of kindness was letting a spider crawl around my house for a week, without killing him. Yesterday he broke the deal we had about him staying up on the ceiling, so I RAIDed him when he crawled down the wall. :/ lol

Don't know if this qualifies as RAOK but some folks say it does:

I attended a youth baseball game (under 18 years of age) yesterday in a community where I don't generally go. A parent thanked for going to watch her son play. In fact I have attended youth sports such as baseball, softball, basketball, volleyball, and many other sports over the years. Parents continually thank me for yelling out instructions and other inspiring words and let me know that my words and deeds in being there is good for the teams and the community.

:)

I went to a high school baseball playoff game and enjoyed it immensely (especially since it was for free). The winning team has a great coach who has been in the game for many decades and his teams are always well versed in the game's fundamentals.

While on the bus on my way home, a lady who had gone shopping slipped and it broke her shopping bag making it difficult to carry her groceries. I had two plastic shopping bags in my carry bag and offered both to her. She thanked me profusely for giving her both of them and she was able to take her food home safely. :)

Just as a follow up to that playoff baseball game: I am well acquainted with that coach's long history of dedicating himself for many years to local amateur baseball. Because of that I sent him a complimentary note in which I thanked him for all he has contributed to the game and to this area's youth. He replied and said that over the years he has gotten a number of letters like the one I sent him and that they are of greater value than the money he has been paid for his services.

What a great coach!
