Back massages are more normal and easier to do. I wouldn't have anything against massaging my future girlfriend's feet though. Obviously not early on, like the first date. You have to really know the person to do something so intimate.

According to this poll, the other poll was wrong, but as far as my own feet getting messaged...I wouldn't know. I've never had a foot message. My feet aren't particularly fragrant, and I'm a might ticklish on the sole, too.

I have said this in chat over and over I don't get why feet are scary. I gave a girl a foot massage for her birthday once and I had just met. I had no present and so I said ''Well, I give a pretty good foot massage'.''

It's just part of the body.

I've massaged feet before. It really doesn't bother me. (As long as there is a sink nearby to scrub my hands afterwards!) I am ticklish too, but foot massages can be nice! I used to get them all the time in China. They only cost $4.50 for an hour though, so I could afford them!

I am not able to get why foot/feet massaged is being considered an issue at all? Personally, I dont see any problem in giving a family member/relatives or friends a feet or back massage IF they are in need of it (like medical condition) and vice versa. I would do it (be it foot or back) to help ease the pain the person might be going through (like in medical condition) otherwise I am too lazy to want to give massage just like that.
