I was unaware of this! How horrible. I mostly just have problems with the space chickens. They get me every time. EVERY. STINKING. TIME.

I took care of them already. They had no way to outrun me in space. I was like a modern day Han Solo all up in that joint!

I just think, from watching a good number of girls/women over the whopping 27 years of my life (I'm so OLD!!), that the majority of women who say they don't/can't flirt are usually saying it AS a way to flirt. Playing "innocent" or "coy". It's usually said to a guy in such a way as to make that guy start flirting with her, to "teach" her, I guess. I don't know.

But! Like I said, there's a few ladies here who have said they just really don't know how to flirt, and I believe it...from a couple of those few (you're one of them, Rachel- I can't see you trying to be coy or cutesy or pretend to be anything you're not).

Oh! And yeah, I do feel that women are, in general, born with a natural ability to flirt. I think, though, it takes a certain amount of attraction to bring it out in some women.

THAT ^^^ is a little bit of Cristen Theory for you.
i am a genuine bona fide non- flirter. I probably have an overdeveloped resistance to the idea if playing games, even though I know flirting can be in an innocent pastime. My cousin Sarah is only 16 but an incorrigible flirt. She means nothing by it but boys are liable to misread the signals, even if they aren't signals. My aunt, my mum's sister, goes ballistic if she catches her batting her eyelids in the direction of the opposite sex but she just can't seem to help herself.

Here's the thing though, whats considered flirting to one person may not be to the other...its a very subjective term in my opinion.

Can you put none of the above? I like flirting after a friendship was started first and then grew into something more meaningful. Flirting up-front is kind of fake. I think it comes more natural when you get to know a person and are into them. When a man comes on too strong at the start I pull away. Men need flirting. I only like flirting when it becomes meaningful. I can flirt a little bit for fun without relationship, but not a habit.

It serves to get some attention... Being engaged with another is like cheating.
