I love coffee. The smell makes me happy. The smell of lime makes me happy as well. I'm kinda weird.

I've decided to not trust small, student led potlucks any more. I attended one before my finals today, and it's not an exaggeration to say it was a bizarre mish mash of crap.

Breakfast? *Checks watch* *Realizes she doesn't wear a watch so checks her phone time instead*

Though, to be fair...breakfast is good at any time of the day. Nothing like breakfast for supper, or a late night bowl of Life cereal. :)
Hey, it's 7:00 a.m. somewhere!

Darn. I guess that's good though. I take a break about once a month so that I don't get addicted. Lol

I'm trying to wean myself to be able to drink black coffee. I always put stuff in it, as it were. I love blended coffee (frappucinos?). The local coffee place here sells amazing ones, my favorite is called Cocoa Krispie and has marshmallow, chocolate, and vanilla syrups in it. It is so yummy. :)

I adore how coffee smells: so rich and warm. Hazelnut coffee candles are the best! It always reminds me of fall!

I rarely drink coffee, espresso drinks but never coffee. Starbucks has come out with a new True North Blend coffee which I would like to try one of these days to shake things up. It suppose to be 'mellow and soft' and that sounds delightful to me.

There is a universal answer to the universal question: "What do I want to eat?" If you answer "breakfast," you will never be wrong.

That being said, since I crawled out of bed at 11:30, when I said I was having breakfast, I did not say so ironically. ^_^

man, this thread is out of control. Sheesh. Lol
Give it a few days. I bet this becomes the next DART. ^_^

Are you drinking the bazillion flavors with no sweetener? I find that flavored coffees express themselves better when sweetened.

I'm an occasional coffee drinker. I have to be in the right mood. (Or there is literally nothing else to drink that doesn't have sugar, except tap water...which is commonly the case at my church.) When I do want it, I like it VERY black and sweet. Don't care for the cream (unless it's iced), but the strength really is key for me. Although a little acidic, I'm a big fan of French Roast just because it's so strong. But Greek or Brazillian coffee with two stevia or splenda packets can't be beat. (IMHO.)

If I could, if it was prudent, I'd drink coffee right now. My ex and I would go get coffee at 2am sometimes. Just because.

You sound like my son. He loves coffee. I had to buy a coffeemaker just for him. :) But it makes the house smell great, so...

The next DART? Well I guess that wouldn't be too bad. That was a fun thread and there aren't tons of those around right now. Lol

Speaking of fun, what do you peoples like to do to have some? I'm a huge fan of outdoor activities, like swimming, kayaking, tubing, surfing when I'm near the ocean...I guess I really like the water. Lol

Well? Go on!

I couldn't do hazelnut coffee for the longest time (nearly a decade) because the smell of it was associated with a bad memory. I know that sounds really weird. God led me to forgive, and the next day I accidentally poured myself some at a temp job I had at the time. I found that I loved it again.

I was thinking the same thing about this becoming the next DART thread. French Roasts are amazing - I've heard the darker roasts are less acidic, but haven't checked into it. When at home, I use stevia instead of Splenda - and real cream. It's very decadent and makes me less likely to grab crap to eat later in the day, since I've already had an indulgence. That's only my second cup though....my first cup has to be black.

I thought I got these two as well in my "catch up" post:

Those are both very happy smells. Not weird at all. Thank you for providing my next signature quote. :)

Not weird at all. I know exactly what you mean, I have that same thing with a few smells, as well as a few songs. Smell is one of the strongest sense connected to memory.

I'm glad that God led you to forgive so you could enjoy those things again. :)

Gosh, If I worked as a barista, I would be sooo tempted to taste every new concoction that I whipped up for someone. Can see myself getting fired for taking a sip of customers drinks before putting the lid on :).

That's what I did! We experimented with so many different coffees and flavors! We also had shot wars but we started fearing for our lives...and the jumpiness scared the customers. ;)
