Never watched much. Watched a little with my cousin once. It's a lot more "wholesome" but their beliefs are a little off.

Duck Dynasty: What EXACTLY do they believe? - YouTube
Yeah, I guess. From what it sounded like, Phil just really emphasized on baptism. But if what was said is true, I can agree, that's a bit off. God doesn't care about denominations, He cares about the heart and your relationship with Him.

1. Don't do porn nor place porn thoughts in somebody else's mind.
2. Don't be cocky, pompous, self-absorbed Nimrod.
3. Don't be obsessed about your ex nor talk about "women" in your past.
4. Don't "admire" (let alone flirt with) women's anatomy.
5. Don't continue to play video games past the age of 30. (You're addicted by then).
6. Avoid poor hygiene.

don't act afraid talking to her. Remember, God is with you, He who is Him is in you, living, breathing, and, when necessary, acting :) And, it's acting as a verb, because He loves you, He is acting on your behalf when you have faith and just go talk to the girl and remember that she has a mom, a dad, and, family, and , you want to treat her the same way that you would want a guy to treat your mom, dad, or, here is a good one, YOUR little sister,, or, big sister, even :)

Funny!! :) That's a cool thread!! Staring is rude. Somebody should start a thread about how not to freak out a girlfriend. This reminded me of my first relationship. Few years back, I had my first relationship. He was my FB friend. We had chemistry. But I wasn't ready. Had a lot of growing up to do. He was a great guy. He blew it because he pushed me when I was still scared. He didn't want to take it slow-by choice. :) He was so cool until we skyped then... everything changed. He became possessive & controlling. He pressurized me to land in LA in 2 months. The guy wanted me to marry him RIGHT AWAY & said about getting license for marriage. I had exams. He didn't worry at all about finishing my professional course which means a lot to me. :) Finally I broke up. I know he loved me & still wants date but I won't ever think of trying to be in a relationship with someone who made me so anxious. He scared the ___ out of me! Men shouldn't assume that the only reason women exist is to be an accessory to men. -_-

If he really loved you, he wouldn't have treated you like an accessory.

Anytime I think of someone staring at a girl until she breaks eye contact, I can't help but remember the Dog Whisperer talking about doing this to your dog to show yourself as the "alpha". :p

Yeah ....true!! But it is complicated. I wasn't mature enough to break up though I felt this wasn't my idea of love. I was pretty scared that it is a sin to break someone's heart. He was really cool & calm. Suddenly everything changed. He went nuts which drove me crazy. He got insecure about my friendships, studies & career. He didn't want me to pursue a career in the States as he was afraid that I might become someone else due to the bad influence. That was humiliating!! Nobody can live a life of purity unless it is a conscious decision. SO HE FORGOT THE PERSON HE FELL IN LOVE WITH. The restriction with clothes was something I would never agree with. Everything kept irritating me and kept pushing to a corner like an animal. Finally I pounced on him really bad. He didn't date after that. He kept waiting though he knew I dated. I do feel bad that he is hurt. But I don't deserve that kind of crazy love.
