To answer the very old thread (might as well, if it's up), here are my categories of men.

A man - Loves God and pursues Him with all His strength; kind and polite to others, especially his mother and sisters; protects. Not just in a physical sense, but a spiritual and emotional sense as well; provides. Again, not just financially, but emotional support as well; unselfish; committed; respectful

Not a man (boy) - Irresponsible; complacent in pursuing God; rude and uncaring; brushes off others and pursues self; vulgar; prideful

And to be fair...

A woman - Kind; gentle; looks out for others; loves God and pursues Him with all her heart; protects; cherishes those around her; respectful; keeps her body and mind pure in dress and thought; quiet but strong spirit

Not a woman (girl) - Holds wordly things above godly things; cares about appearance too much, or tries to alter it too much (vain); disregards God; is a tease; gossips

None of these are exclusive to one gender or another. Men are to also keep their body/mind pure in dress and thought, and women are to also be responsible. But, you get the point. :)

It looks like you figured it out, but just hit the "Reply With Quote" button underneath a response. Make sure you keep the tags at the beginning and the end (it's easy to delete the end ones sometimes) and make sure the brackets hug both "quote" words like this [ ] . :)

So, without the spaces, it would look like this:
words blah blah words
Thank you.. I think that is what I was doing, I was keeping the first part of the quote brackets but i was deleting everything at the end.. so then it looked awful.. :) I appreciate the instruction!

1. The guy who can't walk by a window or mirror without spending a few minutes in awe of himself.
2. The guy who won't let you be nice when you tell him as tactfully as you can that you aren't interested.
3. The guy who's just out to impress other guys and never grows up.
4. The guy who has never learned respect for women.
5. The guy who needs constant affirmation.
6. The guy who is fun, but not dependable.
7. The guy who LOVES you as long as you are willing to completely change your life to adapt to his.
8. The guy who is just TOO, TOO sweet and tries too hard, so you can never think of him as more than a friend.
9. The great quiet guy who won't make the first move.
10. The guy who could never be faithful to just one woman...ever.
11. The guy who reminds you of your dad.
12. The perfect guy who is either too young or too old for you. hahaha
13. The guy who thinks he needs to impress you when you already like him for who he is.
14. The whiner.

oh yea add to this this new kind of guy I discovered..
the guy that doesn't want a woman that is sweet..but wants a woman who will call him a bleep h*le!
seriously?
I don't mind being a little witty, maybe a TINY bit sarcastic (in a nice way) or feisty but rude or belittling? no..
