A-ha's "Take On Me." Best. Video. Ever. What girl wouldn't want some cute guy to climb out of a comic book to be with her? When I was 9 years old, I wanted to marry the lead singer. And if you look at photos of him today, he's still smokin' hot. Even though they never hit it big again in the States, I collected several of their (tapes.)
And to me, this is the ONLY Superman:

Michael Bay's versions sucked. The special effects were cool but the characters had no character.
Something I loved about the original Transformers is that the regular humans they befriended in the cartoon were blue class construction workers. Any kid (like myself) could pretend the beat-up family station wagon was an Autobot. And in one episode, they even included a differently-abled human friend (Chip, who was in a wheelchair.)
The original cartoon had humor... and heart.
Grimlock was one of my favorites!
