For anyone who loved the Dungeons & Dragons cartoon as much as I did, my favorite writer on the show (Michael Reeves), who, in my opinion, wrote the best episodes, actually wrote a final episode that was never produced.
It was meant to be a segue way into a 3rd season but was never picked up. I had read that the ratings were still good, but the main reason for the cancellation was cost and controversy over the game.
Dedicated fans drew a comic book of this final episode. You can find transcripts and readings in English on various sites (one reading is particularly cool because Katie Leigh, who voiced Sheila and is a very well-known voice actress, read the part voluntarily.)
This link is in Spanish but I'm including it because if you skip to the end (or if you know Spanish and will understand it all
), there are some amazing fan art clips of one person's vision of the kids when they're grown up.
And yes. I still want to marry Hank. Just like I wanted to when the original cartoon aired. (I know Sheila was technically his girlfriend but I was almost hoping for a breakup in "The Traitor" episode.)
And... yes again. I am a total nerd when it comes to certain things I become obsessed with!
