I hear you Brother, and that's why I'm going stag. I had to say goodbye to the potential "Mrs. Utah" because she basically ruined the Def Leppard concert this past Saturday and that ain't happening with The Fixx. Hence, why I'm on the Singles Forum now. :) Oh how I love the 80's!

I had no idea there was so much love for the 80's here! I love the 80's and was fortunate enough to grow up during that time. I used to think that I only loved it because that's when I grew up, but now I see that it's not just me. That there really was something special about that decade..

It was also the decade when I started drumming...

However, my Grandpa's favorite era was the 1940's and so I really like some of the fashions, cars (he grew up watching the transition from horse-drawn buggies to "horseless carriages" for the first time), and music from that era.

I think I fell in love with the 80s movie and 80s love songs. Some of my best friends from church grew up in the 80s and we would sit down and watch endless 80s movies.

I don't know if that's true..... Or if it is? They aren't playing their typical instruments, because as a guitarist, I could fake playing a bass better than that.
