lol....I always thought the whole turning into a bumbling idiot thing was just a guy thing. Perhaps ladies are just better at hiding it.

That's the freaky thing about women. They have reputations for being emotional and showy, but underneath... its scary what goes on in their heads. I've discovered women can be excellent about hiding things. *shivers.

Oh ya, I agree with that one. It's amazing what women will tell you when they're confident you won't judge them or tell anybody....but that's a different topic. lol.

Seriously though, I've seen women get obviously super nervous and stuff before but never seen them actually turn into a bumbling idiot like everyone's talking about here. Maybe they think they are up in their heads though when all im seeing is just someone thats nervous. I however, have had full on dummy moments where I've said the stupidest crap imaginable. lol. I don't mind though, I can laugh at myself.

I will overtalk..or ramble or even say what I am thinking like "oh my gosh, I'm rambling aren't I" it's seriously an issue :) lol
it would probably be ok and cute if the guy was interested back and knew I was interested..but it hasn't been that way..:/

It's the same for both genders on that one. It's certainly never happened to me unless the woman is beautiful enough to be a super model.

Must be something about us Australian women and the serial killer jokes. I usually pull out the 'standing at the end of your bed, breathing heavily' joke when chatting to a man for the first time. Then I laugh really loud... and he doesn't.
No I think it's all women :)
I have said it to..."you know, I COULD be a serial killer, you should watch how much info you give me" :) lol

As a guy... correction, as a guy without a huge ego and thinks he's Gods gift to women, this is not a female only issue. I can chat easily (well, relatively speaking) with women i have no interest in. But soon as one catches my eye my insides implode and i get ultra self conscious even if she isn't noticing me. Because i just know know know she's going to just happen to look my way at right as i sneeze out all seasons sinuses or something awkward.
Ugly..

why do you have that name?
God created you wonderfully and fearfully..
and that is not ugly! :/
just wondering..

I think I have yet to meet a guy who has made me just bumble and completely lose my mind. Maybe one day. ;)

I mean, I'll get nervous and blush easily and be awkward, but I do all that stuff anyway for other situations in life so it's not extremely new to me...

Oh, I can remember one instance when I was 18 and said the stupidest thing in front of my crush. I was so nervous. He was drinking out of a foam cup, and I said "Haha, I used to eat foam." I did, when I was a kid, a couple times I ate foam out of a chair we had. Strange, I know, but WHO says that?? WHY did I think it'd be a good idea to say that??

I can't speak for every woman..but in my case it doesn't matter if they are gorgeous.. it matters if I am interested in them.. they can be average by world standards I Guess..but if I like them..or think I have a chance with them or want to have a chance with them..whatever, I speak out stuff that is in my head that is silly or goofy or ramble. I have a male friend who loves that about me (he lives out of state or we might be dating :)
he loves almost everything about me :) lol ..even the stuff I find ridiculous!
but it's not in God's plan for he and I...
and probably, if there WERE a chance with him, even tho we have been friends for 5 years.. I would probably change and turn into that bumbling, overtalking 16 year old that I become.. lol

I would have to agree with the other ladies. I joke around far less with someone I'm attracted to and would be far less likely to initiate a conversation with someone I was attracted to. I think it has something to do with not wanting to appear aggressive in any way...or the fact that I would prefer that he made the first move so I would be certain he was interested and not just being nice.
