Failure.

My aunt's work computer refused to boot so she gave it to me to salvage some files she needed. Tried booting Linux, tried popping the hard drive and connecting it to a USB adapter... nothing. I would have to have expensive lab equipment to get these files off.

I hate to tell someone "Sorry, I couldn't get what you need." But I really hate to say "Next time back up your files" because it makes them feel like an idiot for not doing it last time. But if I don't mention backing up files to a flash drive it will happen again.

Bleh.

I just got home from my ballet class and I am smiling. My body just loves it... LOVES!! It's heaven! <3 Love, love, love, love, love. (and I can still do the splits, though my knee wants to lock up at the end of a plie')

What happened to the bird?
Why was it in your underwear?
Did someone throw the bird at you?
Did you give them the bird?

The bird had been flying around in the entry way, scared, and that's why it flew into my head. I pulled it out of my hair, and set it outside.

...wasn't that anticlimactic, after the autocorrect fiasco? :p

The choreography only is the last 20 minutes of the class.... and an adult class is far less rigorous than a kid class... and I took kid classes for the first two years before she started an adult class. This is my fourth year.

In a few weeks I start with beginning ballroom too. I enjoy dancing so much, and it's exercise that I look forward to.

I didn't know you did ballet, that's cool! I did ballet and jazz dance in high school and a little after that too. It was a lot of fun! Hopefully I'll get back in it soon.

Have you done pointe work or are you going to? I never have, but it would be awesome to learn.
