Yeah...just lots of things I have to do, and I don't have much prep time for it, either. No fault of my own, just how life decided to go.
I hear ya. Life seems to be so full of stress lately.
But, I am praying for you :)

I am not whatsoever looking forward to tomorrow morning. We have an dermatologist appointment to go to for one of the individuals that I support. The dr has called an insulted our staff, our agency and took the guy off one of the meds that he gets, because by he has to get bloodwork done to check liver function cus it can be effected by the med. well by his records, he had not recieved blood test results since last October, but we had been getting a technician to come to the house and take the samples. We found out that they were being faxed to his other office. Yet he still lashed out on us, even though it wasn't our fault. So my coordinator called him, and he lashed out on her.

So we get to see him tomorrow -.- and it fills me with dread. So the coordinator is coming with me tomorrow, to support me and to have a few words with him. Either way, we are looking for a new dermatologist. I hate drama.
Hugs and double hugs. And oh, I might as well give you triple hugs.

I need to stop crying or at least wanting* to cry. There's nothing to cry about and I can't sit and cry forever.

Apparently, I have The Dishwasher Straight From The Zombie Apocalypse. It just won't die, but rather, keeps dragging on in a half-dead state. Tomorrow will be the 4th service call I've had to make on the stupid thing, and it's only 4 months old!!!

The company, thinking they could save money, just told me they would send a part and that I could easily fix it myself. Which is fine. Except that they sent the wrong part--not once, but 3 successive times after that. Finally, on the fourth try they actually sent a box with 4 random pieces, including the 2 that I needed. If I only had a motor, I'd have had enough parts to build a second dishwasher in my garage. But something else was wrong, and a repairman wound up having to come out anyway, and then missed the appointment and had to come on another day. It's annoying as heck because they'll say, "Ok, we'll be there Thursday anywhere between 8 and 4", and your entire day is shot waiting for someone who may or may not actually show up.

Now the stupid water isn't draining from the bottom of the unit. Now if the water was actually clean, I suppose I could use it as a koi pond or something... (I could just set the washer to "steam" and I'd have dinner in 20 minutes... KIDDING! KIDDING!) So I wonder if this time they're going to tell me to pick up a wrench and just fix it myself again. Which I wouldn't mind, as long as they gave me the right instructions this time.

Personally, I'd rather take my chances with the zombies. At least I wouldn't have to worry about them not showing up at my house.

I want you to stop typing on your keyboard and look at your hands. Those are the best dish washers you got! No service calls etc :p

Yeah, I did that for 5 years. No more. NO more. It. Is. TORTURE.

Upon moving, I got a dishwasher. So that means less hand washing stuff.

Anything you wash will never be as bad as what I've had to hand-wash at my job before. Trust me. When you spend over thirty minutes on a single dirty piece of dishware, then make the determination it is screwed beyond repair then throw it tin the trash, then we can talk.

No worries, I wash plenty of things by hand, including dishes. I wash all my pots, pans, chopping knives, etc. by hand. I also tend to also do things like spot-scrub the grout between my floor tiles by hand, sometimes with a toothbrush.

But I generally wear rubber gloves when working with water, so you couldn't tell by looking at my hands (instead, they're full of paper cuts and long scars instead--from years of box cutters, shelves with sharp edges, along with stacking, and unpacking boxes and glass at work.)

Where are those zombies when I need them. Zombie minions... now that would come in handy.

P.S. Just read your last post--I've never had a piece of dishware that was that dirty, with the exception of maybe a baked-on casserole pan, but enough hand-scrubbing, done in cycles, over a day or two, brought it back from the dead. :)

Ugh, someone had to remind me I need to go wash dishes. Sigh, guess I better go do them now before it gets later.

haha what?? Just need gloves, brush and disinfectant and its all good, then i know for sure that the bathroom is thoroughly cleaned :) but putting my fingers in water that's just a dirty soup of everyone's plates, bowls, pots, etc with small food particles floating around is GROSS!!!!!!!!!

I use baking soda and vinegar when I clean. Detergent when I wash the dishes. I've only ever used a dishwasher when I was volunteering for a time in a hospital cafe.
