Yesterday, I worked. I haven't done so much in a very long time, and today my body is objecting.

Ow.

Ranch work is hard. Trying to restore order to a ranch that's been sadly neglected is even harder. Not that I did it all myself, and not that I was able to do much in the grand scheme of things...but maybe some lives will be a little easier for a while. I dunno.
I can relate to the last line of your post. "and maybe they'd be happy for awhile..."

I love Panera Bread, I don't eat the bread, but usually get a greek salad, I know it has cheese, sorry.
There's a Power Mediterranean salad that I can have there. It looks like it'd be a really good choice.

I have NEVER done that before. Why? The Lord knows where my heart is when I talk to him, and I have never felt the need to necessarily be that careful with my words with Him. He knows me and what I am trying to say. After this happened, I sat down for a moment and thought about what would possess me to think I now had to be more careful of word choices when I chat with Him. Then it came to me, and to be honest, I find the answer somewhat frustrating.

I am not trying to knit-pick at anyone, but I realized what caused part of my frustration. It is found in some of these forums. Countless times I have read a post by someone shredding another person's post based on one word they may have used while ignoring the overall point to the message. It makes a feller nervous or afraid to ever write anything. The idea that this nervousness has now found its way into my prayer life is unbearable.
Focus on God, not on them :) God cares for your heart

Would it be wrong to ask for the winning lottery tickets?

I mean, it is not gambling if you know the answer right?!?
They threw dice for his garments, the ones that were part of killing Christ right? and so gambling is wrong right?
Why do we not see? And they also threw the dice for who takes Judas's place and the dice fell on Matthias.
motive is key one might think? what is on the outside of the cup as in where we see dirt, does not make the inside dirty. The other way round, and Jesus the Christ hung around who? And they did what returned to the Fatrher and they as well as we are taking part in the fatted Calf slaughtered for us, are we not? or have we forgotten and are now righteous in and oif ourselves as those religious leaders were in Christ's day, who did not understand

Sorry, Back to the Future wasn't a reality show.
Sure brought hopes to the public though didn't it and I bet a lot more sales, when no no one can know the future but God who said take one day at a time, and not be worried about future, for there is enough trouble in the present isn't there?
So why worry about tomorrow, what good will that do? take care of today while you still have it and be glad in the Lord, he is our in front taking care of your tomorrow, if we will start trusting no matter what you think?

Unrealistic future expectations, steal, kill and destroy a persons soul, maybe? That can't be I have never had future expectations go astray. Yeah right, okay look out, that is like saying I never Farted, and if so I do not want to be around when one finally does, depending on how long it has been that one has never
When one says they never I know better, anyone else

What makes you think that gambling is wrong? Life is the sum of the choices we have made. A lot of these choices are calculated risks. Avoidance of all risks in life is another choice, and perhaps not a wise one. To me, that is the purest form of gambling, and is the one roll of the dice that will lead to the greatest loss. Just ask the guy who hid his master's talent in the ground so that he would not risk squandering it and incurring his wrath. You win some and lose some. It's all about how you play the game that really counts and not the profit and loss.

Aww. Now that ain't fair. And here I was thinking I knew how the future was going to be....
The only future that is for sure is God is not a liar, and said, So do we believe, no matter what it appears to look like in front of us? Are we going to stand fast in God not being a Liar?
God said it, I believe it and that settles it.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

I would say that you would be gambling on your future. Risky bet, I would decline this chance as it is not worth the risk.
hey Tourist, every day one gets up and gets ready to go out in this world to do whatever it is they do,, is a gamble is it not?

All this stuff about the personality tests...
Yes. To the being put into a box by them.
I had though for sure I would get a different result on the one I retook, because I'm not the same person I was last time I took it. Sure, maybe some things never change, but if I was someone who really believed in those deals, I'd feel kinda disappointed and set back.
My mom actually had gotten me sucked into a personality typing system- a whole learning course that tells you which of four types you are, then teaches you how to not only be That type, but also how to dress in That type's clothes, how to fix your hair, and what colors are ok to wear. I joined in at first because...let's face it, it's pretty rare for my mom to take an interest in me. So I was all for changing however this test/ typing system said I was supposed to.
It was completely ridiculous and I ended up stopping the whole thing after a couple weeks.

Anyway, I think personality tests are kinda fun, but I can't really wrap my head around sorting human beings into a few select categories; we should be changing and growing all the time.
prayerfully committing all ways unto the Lord, and by Father we see through the dark glass that was first a mirror, then we believed, and the mirror became dark, and then we kept on belief, knowing God is somehow leading us to peace and then that dark glass becomes a window to our souls and see in Spirit and truth

Psalm 25:10 All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

The getting out of bed part is probably a necessity. I agree with the rest of your statement. To mitigate the risk and increase the possible benefit one must consult with God and not just casually toss the dice. Snake eyes. Again, it is a matter of choice. 7 eleven.

You know, I like how you have a Godly view about everything.
But you can tell when people are joking right?

(Real) personality tests are meant to aid in self discovery, not tell you how to act. While we may 'all' be complicated and a lot of things, it's not hard to deny that humans can still be broken down loosely into types of people with tendencies. Since learning my type i have gained a better understanding of myself, less worry over who i am and why, among other things. Perhaps the problem isn't in the test, but in how you Choose to approach the test. Tests reveal what exists. Perhaps the real issue is that you don't want yourself so easily revealed.
Humanity craves the balance between being unique and fitting in (though few will admit it, how ironic) and helping to learn more about yourself actually helps to serve that purpose to a great good. Anyone who takes a test and tries to behave within the results, well, the outcome is the fault of the taker, not the test.
And one day maybe we will all learn this as Paul learned from being Saul
Philippians 3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

So I bet he wouldn't even take that test, knowing how deeply he is loved by God and pours that out to us all, you think
mankind separating mankind is still trying to be the creator you think?
Are we not the creation, since when does the creation play God and try to get God the creator to respond to them?
Is this not happening all over this world and is this why, God said this through Paul to us all:
[h=3]Hebrews 8:1-4[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

8 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; [SUP]2 [/SUP]a minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man. [SUP]3 [/SUP]For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer. [SUP]4 [/SUP]For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:

I don't know what to do with myself. I'm going to be sorta stuck at someone else's house most of the day. It's a ranch...farm...thing. There's a lot I could do, except it's my ex's family and they kinda all don't like me and they watch me like a hawk when I'm there.

Because, you know, I'm highly likely to tuck a chicken under one arm, a duck under the other, and steal a horse to ride off into the wild blue yonder.

...they caught me within five minutes last time I tried that, I dunno what they're so worried about.
You are Sister no matter what:
Ephesians 1:6 to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

So seeing that: I personally quit Judging and started listening when to make a right or a left or just stand still
And let the crafty ones hang themselves in their own deceit as Christ did in his day, made no direct accusations. peoples consciences did that for them, he just brought it out and laid it on the table, made an open spectacle, especially in the day that they brought a woman to him caught in Adultery, And they left one by one in quilt themselves, and could not stone her.
Now if i were her, I think I would appreciate this and beleive and love back the same as their is no sin in love you think?

Christ's death cleansed us, his resurrected life saves us and we walk in truth with Father's Spirit to lead us in Love to all, you think?
We are the creation not the creators as is how we all are first born here in this world, as creators, manipulators to get our way or the highway to all, only loving those that love us back or so it seems that they do and when we find out they don't wars and insurrections get in the way of true love, maybe?
It is what I see today, not necessarily yesterday as I got mad at that other driver and killed him. In my mind I did, being angered. We are in the world not of it, so today, I look at that and say thank you, now teach me, how to react back in love to this and not in anger as this world accepts this behavior, I personally do not for me at least, and see God teaching me this:
Luke 6:32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.

that is how deep God's love is, even to the self-righteous it is to all, as he said on the cross
"Forgive them Father, they know not what they do"

Are our consciences purged yet: Should they be

Hebrews 10:2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.

I had a nightmare last night. I haven't had one of those in years. I've had bad dreams, and sad dreams where I've woken up crying. But this time, I woke up covered in sweat, heart pounding, and my body was so tense that it took me a few moments to even move. I forced myself to stay awake for at least 15 minutes because I was terrified I'd fall asleep and go back into the dream.

The mind is a crazy thing, sometimes.
Sister, ever thought the mind plays out in dreams what it might be having trouble with not being at peace about something?
i know of a movie called "Dream Scape", actor Dennis Quaid
And is a very enlightening Movie about dreams, and that in all truth we are the ones in control of them not the dream in control of us
pray you find it and be enlightened to its your dream and you have control, not the other way around, god gave you this, and the enemy tries to steal it, anyway possible all it has to do is get you out of control with God as your savior and deliverer

There are those days when you really wish your intuition was wrong but they're not.
very wise to listen, God speaks and the enemy can';t figure God out can conjecture quite well, but never know, and so the devil today is Judged, yet still around using fear to kill, steal, and destroy, with no teeth and no claws
All that is left is the flesh nature that needs new Life in Spirit and truth. and thus we know when to walk, run or hide, yet never in fear in wisdom today you think? So I say listen and if wrong in the voice that the enemy tries to imitate, copy, mimic, act as is a fake we will find that out and learn, will we not as it took Abraham 29 years to know beyond a shadow of a doubt God's voice

There is a serious lack of love in these posts. Some use forums as a means to debate who is the smartest or the most clever. Personally, I rarely understand a word and as a consequence if there is no hook in by the first or second sentence it becomes drivel and I will not waste my precious time reading the rest of the post as I will find it boring, contain factual inaccuracies, warmth and humor. It will not profit me to read or even respond, except in a flippant, off-the-cuff response. There are exceptions, albeit rare.

No, you are not the brains. You are the heart and that is the more vital organ.
Yep, it is God's love as in 1 cor 13:4-13 that wins and has won, still othher hearts are left to be transformed, the Amazing love of God having Mercy for us all, amazing, desiring for none of us to be left out. Amazing Grace how sweet it truly is, no matter waht way it is sliced, diced and or cubed, thank you Lord form this
