Both of my trips to Guatemala were life changing. I don't have any digital photos of my first trip, but I've attached images of my second one. Both trips were short-term missions, and the first one in 2005 was my first mission trip ever. We went to a small but growing Christian elementary school and ministered to the kids and I was inspired to learn Spanish for future mission purposes. I studied Spanish enthusiastically for 5 years, and then in 2010 I got to go back to Guatemala as a mission team member, worship leader, and translator. :) The 2010 team was a mix of adults and older teens, so we did more physical labor than on my first trip. We built 5 small houses for some needy and amazing families in the local villages, and thanks to my new language abilities, I was able to build relationships far deeper and sweeter than on my first trip. Those relationships still last today. :)

moments with family are always good times!

I am so thankful to God for many times He has allowed us to travel together as a family…:)

My favorite trip was last year to Prince Edward Island, Canada. It was a biking trip (all I did while I was there was bike around the Island, including on the famous 470 km Confederation Trail). I may be going back in June for some more biking.

Here are some pics I took while biking around different parts of the Island.

Hey everybody, I'll be traveling back to Prince Edward Island tomorrow to do some more biking, and this time I'll be biking on different parts of the island than what I did last year and taking many photos.

So when I come back next weekend I'll post some of those pictures here in this thread so you can all see more of how awesome Prince Edward Island is.

God bless you all (and behave until I get back!!!). Then when I get back, you can all act like children again!!!

Hey everybody, I just got back last night from another great biking trip to Prince Edward Island (East Coast of Canada). I was able to take a lot of photos of P.E.I.'s beautiful landscape. Below are just a couple of those photos. I hope they will encourage others to consider vacationing their for themselves.

Enjoy!!!

I took this photo at Westpoint Beach, PEI.

Hi AzureAfire, I am glad you enjoyed my PEI photos. Prince Edward Island is definitely a vacation destination meant for relaxing and enjoying the creative power and beautiful expressive genius of God (hey, that should be their Island motto - lol).

My trip is one I just took on April 1st. It was only a 3 hour trip, but it was the day I was released from prison. After serving 13 1/2 years, the door was opened for me to be released. It was Awesome to walk out of the gates that surrounded that place. I looked around and I was now free. We went down the street to Burger King and got breakfast then went to Walmart. It was strange to walk into it as I hadn't been in a public place for 13 1/2 years. There were so many firsts that day and are even some now. It is a day I'll never forget.
