The sad part is that those two guys ^ can probably find a girlfriend/wife but I most likely never will.

So what do you find attractive in the opposite gender that doesn't fall into line with the world's standard?
I think men with bald/shaved heads are attractive, but there is interest in men that have noses with "character" too. Think Egyptian, Greek, that kind of thing.

The one wearing the racoon hat is married, the other one(my cousin) is actually divorced.

I just wanted to let the wonderful ladies of CC know, that if you like a unique dresser then my cousin Chad is available, and he is a Christian. Nothing like a furry hat, and orange and white overalls to scream bachelor of the year!

PS, his friend Steve is wearing a real raccoon in his head. Wearing dead animals as hats in the south is a sign of wealth. lol

GO UT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(my alma mater :D)

There is so much pressure in our culture to look a certain way and act a certain way. But beauty is subjective.

So what do you find attractive in the opposite gender that doesn't fall into line with the world's standard?

For instance, men with glasses are cute in my book. A certain amount of awkwardness can also be pretty charming.

haha I totally agree with you there..awkwardness is cute

The words that women say can be very attractive. A women who speaks kind and encouraging words is a brilliant thing.

"You'll want a kind woman with spirit. Beauty is in a woman's words as much as in her skin."

I like artists of all kinds, because they can express themselves. I also like a girl I can sing and play music with.

Those aren't weird though...hmm...Unusual favorites, huh?

Well, still under music, a girl who really is eclectic in taste would be really attractive. If we can calmly read with piano, headband with hard rock, and still worship with contemporary, rap, techno, ext....sweet!

I'm also attracted to a woman who has it somewhat together as far as organization and responsibility, because I struggle there.

Honestly, it would be hard to answer this question well, because all the things I look for aren't that unusual.

...I got one!

An unusual favorite would be a girl who is strong and weak at the same time! Like the old Viking, pioneer, ext women! ^^

Example: She's out fighting off the pack of wolves with me, but can still be scared of mice, cry on your shoulder, be a little self-conscious...ext.

*sigh*. These things are fun and funny to talk about, but honestly...I don't have a laundry list.

I'll list this as 'unusual' because I have yet to find it.

A woman who truly tries to love God above all else. She's not a saint. She messes up. Regardless, though, she's committed to God above all else.

A woman who is adaptable, willing, and just a bit different.

A woman who would truly love me, just for me, 'forsaking all others' as the words go, to love and choose me as her 'one'. This of course is far inferior to her love and dedication to Christ. I also, would have to be willing to choose her above all others. [This refers to the marriage relationship, of course.]

Then, having God affirm to us both for (or ordain) a relationship.

Now these aren't traits, per say, but this would be the most attractive woman in the world to me. Honestly, though, I probably wouldn't be the man for such a woman.

I thought of another one! Dressining MODERATELY is VERY attractive. Please do it more! It suggests a sense of elegance and purity of the woman, and helps us guys with purity too!

Somehow I'm thinking that Reece meant to say "dressing modestly." I'll agree that modest is highly attractive.

Man, I think they covered almost everything!

I had a checklist....a long time ago....let me see:

1. HE MUST LOVE JESUS! (Most important, of course)
2. He must be able to play guitar and sing
3. He must be able to write songs fairly well
4. He must be taller than I am
5. He must be older than I am
6. He must be stronger than I am (Not really very hard)
7. He must enjoy walking in the rain (Weather must not scare him away)
8. He must enjoy outdoor activities, such as hiking, skiing, camping, etc
9. He must have a major sense of the ridiculous (or else we won't ever get along... lol)
10. (And just to make it an even ten) He must like Bluegrass

Haha....I know, it's shocking that I haven't found anyone.....
